I love this place! The bakery and food are delicious and the service is amazing.
The best bakery in the town . I had their simple vanilla cake slice and i was so whelmed with it.
The simplest of flavor tasted so good , i can't wait to have other things from their menu.
The place in itself gives such a happy vibe.
Everybody at this place is so cheerful and lively.
I absolutely love this happy vibe place.

I love this place! I don't think I've ever had anything here that I didn't like. My favorites here are the carrot cake (it really is the best) and tiramisu. The pastries and breads are all wonderful. I love the hand pies, they're not too sweet and are enough for two or more servings. The challah is my favorite bread here and rarely do we make it home with the whole loaf. It's my favorite bread to use when I make homemade french toast. Oh, and when they have them, the soft pretzels are a must have. You really can't go wrong here.

This place has the best cakes in town, they're always moist and on point with flavor. The fruit basket is a great summertime item, and the carrot cake is another favorite of mine. It is more expensive, if you're used to going to the Safeway bakery, but as with most things, you get what you pay for. If you need a cake, this is the place to get it.

Popular place with tasty pastries and cakes. I called in an order 24 hours before an event and was provided an awesome cake. They decorated it and were so friendly when I picked it up. Good set up in the store to move the lines efficiently.

Small business, huge following! Always crowded! Small parking lot. Very busy area. Great cakes, cookies, pies, and pastries! Friendly customer service. One door to enter and then the other exit only because the shop is so compact. Be ready to stand in a line. It does seem to go quickly.

We went here to get a birthday cake for my daughter and it was an awesome experience. We had an unusual writing for the cake and they were able to make it happen. We also picked up a few other treats that were amazing. The peanut butter cookies were the best I have ever had. Super moist and flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try more goodies!

Freeport is famous in Sac, so I'll keep it short and say it's well-deserved. All of the individual items I've had, like scones, cake pops, and breads, are excellent and worth the money/calories/etc. Their cakes are also both delicious and beautiful. I got my latest holiday dessert here (their fruit basket cake. So good), and I even got a custom wedding cake here that was incredibly tasty, and came at an excellent price.

If you've never had a custom cake done, I highly recommend doing it here. I don't know if this is standard, but we actually got to sit down with one of their cake artists and plan it out. We gave them notes about what we wanted it to look like, the layers and flavors, and they talked with us about the logistics of the decorations, what would be painted on, what could be 3D, etc. They even had a notebook of color palettes for the frosting to help pick something out that looks good but isn't too bitter.

I don't go often because while it's worth the price, it's not a price I can afford all the time, and their storefront is also definitely not big enough for the amount of foot traffic they get (make sure you enter on the *left* to maintain the flow). Despite these small hindrances Freeport Bakery is well worth a visit if you want excellent bakery fare.
