Pretty amazing bakery. There us usually a line out the door. They create wonderful specialty cakes and breads.

Freeport Bakery never fails ever..... The Fruit Basket cake is life. It has been life since Kramer's Bakery, once a local treasure, began this wonderful delivery of absolute flavor pureness. I do miss the sliced green grapes that Kramer's used but the tasty precision in which Freeport Bakery delivers their Fruit Basket cake almost makes up for it. Freeport is also the Master of all Baked Goods in Sacramento and beyond. Can you tell I absolutely love this place!!!

Except service and everyone was so friendly. The pastries and baked goods all look amazing.

I used to visit the Freeport Bakery 20 years ago, for the Chocolate Decadence cake. It was the richest, most intense chocolate experience I've ever found outside of Godiva confections. Today I returned from out of state, with my 18 yr old daughter to share it with her. Due to Covid, they would only sell a whole cake which I'll need to dip into my retirement to afford. Maybe tomorrow.

Cute, great tasting desserts. Had them cater our wedding, everything was as expected and delivered on time. The mini desserts were a huge hit with our guests.

I come here for all of my family's birthday cakes. My girlfriend loves the flour less cakes. Nothing beats their cakes with a decent price. Staff are very helpful.

It was ok. The presentation is on point. Everything looks delicious. But dont expect to be mind blowned by the taste. It tastes like any other ordinary bakery.

The cakes and the desert bar samples were amazing, we're using this Bakery for our wedding cakes and all the samples were delicious it was tough to choose just one so we ended up getting two.

yummy pastries. double check your cake orders - twice mine were incorrect (chocolate layer instead of lemon poppyseed and you can't tell until you cut the cake....Ordered cupcakes with cake and didn't realize until I drove off that something was missing. Got store credit when I went back.) Yummy cakes....

I'm in Florida and I called to ask if they had a cookie cake/pie. The lady that answered the phone was rude about it, said NO and hung up. I thought I was bothering her.. I will not ask Freeport Bakery anything. Ended up ordering from Mrs. Field's Cookies LOL

We used Freeport to cater our wedding dessert bar. They were incredibly kind, efficient, and helpful. The day of, everything was lovely and prepared perfectly. Everyone was amazed by our movie reel wedding cake and couldn't believe how cool it was. Very pleased and highly recommend for any catering you need.

Freeport Bakery is a tiny (and I mean tiny) place that makes some of the best cakes in Sacramento. My wife will never order cakes from anywhere else for any occasion that we celebrate. Our favorite is the Champagne Cake, which is always a hit. We've also tried their coffee and pastries while there, and those are delicious too. But if anything, just try their cakes.

I've never had a bad treat from this bakery. From the hand-made apple pies to the cookies, every item is made with love.

You have to order ahead of time. I've been 3 times and they never have anything in stock. Eclairs, Fruit Tarts... basic items. Purchased a $34 cake and it was honestly just meh. Super long lines. I don't understand the hype. I'll try to plan ahead and order basics next time a few days in advance and try those.

Great tasting cake but horrible service. Ordered it 3 days prior, i went to pick it up and there was no record of it being ordered.

My son loves chocolate so I went here looking for a cake with as much chocolate as possible and as rich as possible. The cake I picked out was awesome for my son taste buds. Too much for me but just right for my son. Great cake and bakery. A little expensive but I can't complain.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting the Owner of Freeport Bakery. It was a lovely introduction when she SCREAMED "HEY YOU, STOP! COME BACK HERE!!!!"

Then she ran across the parking lot to come scream about how I cannot park in her lot. Meanwhile, the Bakery is SO busy that the line piling up on the sidewalk.

Apparently, you cannot shop and the bakery and the next door donut shop.. not on her watch!!

Maybe you should go help your employees instead of chit-chatting with friends, posting on Facebook, and yelling at customers.

The only thing that has me bummed is that I have gotten the cauldron cake for my grandmas birthday (day before Halloween) every year for 20 years, my grandma passed earlier this year and I have been looking forward to carrying that tradition with my family to honor and remember her, and this year happens to be the first year they ve stopped making it.

This visit got a lemon cooler cake and it was a big hit at work!

Amazing wedding team but even better cakes! DELICIOUS! Used them for my wedding cake and it was phenomenal! My only regret- not getting a taste of the red velvet with chocolate filling on my wedding day. That was my special tier my husband let me have even though he dislikes red velvet. (Que "awww" haha!). It was all snatched up by the time I could sit for some cake, bummer. Absolutely adorable shop too. They should really expand and open another shop because their cakes are truly exceptional! Thank you to the Freeport wedding team and the bakers!

I had many croissants in my lifetime but these are the best .I live in E.Sac its worth the drive we always get the families birthday cakes which is there chocolate mouse .

Considering it's the day before Easter, they were very organized and efficient. And that place was cracking! Totally worth the wait...everything's always delicious!

I tell anyone who goes to Sacramento to visit Freeport Bakery for the best coffee and baked goods in the city.

There are wizards who prepare all the goodies to be found in this place. If you bribe them, you will come to know just how serious I am about that. Excellent little bakery, wonderful people on staff. Truly an awesome place to visit.

I've always heard about this bakery but never tried it. Fortunately I was able to last week. My mom ordered my nieces 21st bday cake from here (chocolate hazelnut). Every one raved about it! It actually fed more ppl than we thought (+ leftover). I also tried their yellow cupcake w/choc. icing & their triple chocolate chip cookies & honestly they are AMAZING!!

Did a wedding cake tasting here and had a good experience. The cake samples and frosting/filling tasted really good. We got to select 6 different flavors and the process was explained very well. We were also shown many different photos of wedding cakes to get ideas, which was helpful.

Otherwise, as a retail bakery, the store gets a bit jam packed when it's busy and the lines were long but understandably so because it's a mom n pop establishment with great success.

For some reason I remember it being much better flavorwise. They do a TON of custom cakes; easily saw 15 orders walked out while I was there, they looked so pretty.

Very friendly staff even on a very busy day right before Thanksgiving. Love their fruit tart!

If you're interested in overpaying for mediocre cupcakes and cakes, then come here. Personally, I don't think Freeport Bakery has anything worth buying for their prices.

Kind staff. Seating inside and outside.
The frosting on the cupcake didn't taste right. My children didn't want to eat it.
The brownie and cookies were delicious!
