Great place for conservatory, plants and art. Playgrounds and sand boxes too for kids to run around.

Amazing place....so beautiful. Definitely worth going back again and again!
Beautiful grounds with ample facilities and an on-site restaurant. The admission fee was a little pricey, but the money is clearly put to good use. Lots of hands-on, fun activities for children, and an incredible variety of plant life in several different themed areas. The shade garden was especially appreciated on the day we visited, since it was sunny and mid-80s.
Went there for the Christmas trees from around the world display, wasn't disappointed. We attended in the evening and the night backdrop really added to the ambiance.
Nice concert venue. First time there and enjoyed it very much. Would go back again.
It's a great place to bring a kid. You can spend a couple hours here easily.
Awesome, just plain awesome!! A must see for everyone.
Great place and service from catering! Food temperature was cool though. Everyone at our table thought the same.
We have been traveling for four years seeing many wonderful things natural and man made. Meijer Garden is one of the top places to see and any city would be proud to call it their own.
The staff is helpful and the gardens are quite stunning!
This is a beautiful retreat for the family, an excellent location for an event, or the perfect concert venue. Ahhhhhh... The Gardens.
Nice place to visit and spend a day. Interesting things to see indoors and more to see outdoors when the weather is nice.
Great place. And has lots to do for children: Touching and smelling plants, playing on one of the water installations, playing with historic toys, etc.
Perfectly maintained venue with easy access and a great vibe. Cushy lawn also makes for great spot to relax and enjoy a concert with a blanket or a low back chair. Be sure to check chair height restrictions on the lawn before bringing yours. Available for purchase there if you need.
I liked and it has beautiful trails for walking around to see all of the sculptures and outdoor gardens. If you are looking to learn the names of the various trees and plants then I am afraid you will be disappointed as the outside offerings were mostly not labelled :(
Worth the trip . But it cost 20 dollars a person. So not cheap.
Words wouldn't do it justice. It's for everyone any time.
Great childrens area when you take your kids their! Tons of other parks to explore! Love it!!
Amazing. Go when you can take your time. I squeezed every last drop out of two hours and didn't get to see everything. I'll definitely be going back.
Every time I visit I find more to life about this place- my favorite too visit in Michigan. From seeing old favorites line the tropical greenhouse garden to the Japanese Garden that was not finished during my last visit the Meijer Sculpture Gardens and Greenhouse is fantastic destination.
Amazing time seeing the butterflies and walking around outside!
Always a great time! Construction or not you'll have a great day at FMJ.
Very nice gardens lots to see indoors if the weather isn't good. The carnivorous plants room was a hit with the kids.
Such a great time at the Meijer Gardens. Even under construction they still make it easy to get in. Amazing gardens indoor an out. Grab a map and go for a sensory explosion. Sights and fresh smells make for a wonderful day. If you're feeling take it easy grab the tour bus and sit back and enjoy. Highly recommend.
This place is a gem to West Michigan. I love these gardens and all the entertainment and attractions it offers year around. If only I lived closer I would buy a year around membership. The scenic beauty of the sculpture park, arboretum, and the gardens are both peaceful and inspiring. If you get a chance this is a must stop on a vacation. It is kid friendly (I'd recommend 5 or older) with a large tree house and small water exhibits. Personally, I felt such a zen moment while walking through the Japanese garden.
Butterfly experience was small, the older volunteers were not patient with the little kids. It's mostly adult oriented.
I took my Wife for a visit here & loved it. There's an activity area for the kids to play too.
Beaytiful place. Loved the Japanese gardens. Designed and built by the best garden designers, with so much variety and balance in mind! Si calm, so beautiful!
Clean ,quiet, serene. They are always expanding and bringing new ideas to the gardens. The Japanese gardens are so serene and beautiful.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Gardens and sculptures
Great indoor and outdoor experience. The butterfly exhibit is awesome and while I don't understand all the art the sculpture gardens are cool
Attending summer concerts here is always an amazing experience.
First time going a week ago...WOW. What an amazing place! So much to walk through and see. Very clean and well kept. A lot of construction going on outside but it's no big deal once you're in. Be prepared for a line. Bottom line this place is worth the trip! A great expirence for the entire family, no matter the age!
The Gardens are beautiful, and the buildings are nice. No real complaints, and it's a wonderful place to visit.
Always a yearly stop and typically a wonderful experience with good customer service and beautiful vegitation, sculpures, architecture, and interactive equiptment. Things for all ages here such as a interactive garden for children, a train for those who want to tour the park but dont want to walk the miles it takes to tour the ENTIRE park, and complementary wheel chairs. Something for all ages. This year the stop occured during the butterfly exhibits running which was so extrodonarily well done I would go back a sevond time. The park itself is wonderful. My only qualm is stricty with my experience here with customer service. When purchasing my ticket, my cashier was extremely inconvenienced with having to run my card manually which resulted in a poor attitude. Although the other cashiers seemed pleasant and helpful, MY experience was poor. All around I would reccomened this as a must see when in GR.
It's been 10+ years since I've been back. Really had a great time!
Truly a gem of a place! You can spend all day here and still want to return to spend another day. Articulate and well preserved! Tastefully done with excellent, helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. Everything from the children s area More
Absolutely gorgeous, I love that they are always changing and making a membership absolutely worth it.
Beautiful place for an outdoor walk with lots of interesting plants and sculptures
I can't get enough of this place. It's serene and cool. When you want to be in touch with nature, just visit this place. The waterfalls is my favorite spot.
It was a little pricey for what you get. The garden was quite small but still beautiful and most of the staff was very polite.
I love the gardens so much that I've been a member for over three years. The grounds are well kept, there are fun things for children to do, the rotating special exhibits are always interesting, and the cafe has really good food. This is one of my favorite places in West Michigan.
This is a wonderful place to spend the day! The children s garden is so much fun and I highly recommend the guided tram ride tour. (Even in the rain! )
Beautiful. Surprisingly big. The Japanese garden should be prescribed as therapy for stress and anxiety. Just go there and sit and feel ... better.
Worth every penny.
Amazing botanical gardens and world renowned sculpture park
Lots of great things to see. Went when it was 50 degrees out and still enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back to summer and see more
Take the family. Walk around and look at things. You'll love it. There were turtles downstairs. The farm is cool. You don't have to be a garden nut to enjoy it. Find the banana plants. Look at sculptures. Go looking for waterfalls.
I would give this place ten stars. This park is massive. World class sculptures by renowned artists. All spread out in perfectly manicured gardens and wild natural habitats. You can easily spend an entire day. The main building has additional arboretum rooms featuring cactus and carnivorous plants. There is a small cafe which had both indoor and patio seating with boxed food (not sure if this is only during the Covid outbreak or if it is always this way). The high point of the cafe is the grand display of Chihuly glass adorning the ceiling. There were musicians performing in a great room outside the cafe. Everything here is beautiful and breathtaking.
I love visiting here, there's always something new to look at that you missed before. I just wish I could see the corpse flower, even if its not in bloom.
Awesome place. Fun for the entire family, including picky grandparents.
Always something beautiful, even in the off season. Boasting such vast and diverse displays and areas of art pieces and gardens, it's truly a gem for our small city.
Always excellent. Took my grandchildren to the butterfly exhibit beginning of March before the shut-down. This was a special treat. Will visit again.
Awesome place! But today could not go into the outside areas, very bummed
Very nice place to spend a few hours. The flowers are incredible and the statues are super cool
I've been to gardens all over the world and this was my favorite. Give yourself at least 3 hours to fully appreciate the grounds.
Must visit location in Grand Rapids. Fantastic Japanese gardens.
Butterfly exhibit was wonderful, but very busy. The whole place is beautifully kept and the volunteers are welcoming and knowledgeable.
Gorgeous as always, seeing the butterflies after dark was a treat!
Gorgeous Gardens. The monarchs are so much fun to watch. The diversity of plants species this place has is incredible!!
