Beautiful grounds with ample facilities and an on-site restaurant. The admission fee was a little pricey, but the money is clearly put to good use. Lots of hands-on, fun activities for children, and an incredible variety of plant life in several different themed areas. The shade garden was especially appreciated on the day we visited, since it was sunny and mid-80s.

Perfectly maintained venue with easy access and a great vibe. Cushy lawn also makes for great spot to relax and enjoy a concert with a blanket or a low back chair. Be sure to check chair height restrictions on the lawn before bringing yours. Available for purchase there if you need.

I liked and it has beautiful trails for walking around to see all of the sculptures and outdoor gardens. If you are looking to learn the names of the various trees and plants then I am afraid you will be disappointed as the outside offerings were mostly not labelled :(

Such a great time at the Meijer Gardens. Even under construction they still make it easy to get in. Amazing gardens indoor an out. Grab a map and go for a sensory explosion. Sights and fresh smells make for a wonderful day. If you're feeling take it easy grab the tour bus and sit back and enjoy. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem to West Michigan. I love these gardens and all the entertainment and attractions it offers year around. If only I lived closer I would buy a year around membership. The scenic beauty of the sculpture park, arboretum, and the gardens are both peaceful and inspiring. If you get a chance this is a must stop on a vacation. It is kid friendly (I'd recommend 5 or older) with a large tree house and small water exhibits. Personally, I felt such a zen moment while walking through the Japanese garden.

First time going a week ago...WOW. What an amazing place! So much to walk through and see. Very clean and well kept. A lot of construction going on outside but it's no big deal once you're in. Be prepared for a line. Bottom line this place is worth the trip! A great expirence for the entire family, no matter the age!

Always a yearly stop and typically a wonderful experience with good customer service and beautiful vegitation, sculpures, architecture, and interactive equiptment. Things for all ages here such as a interactive garden for children, a train for those who want to tour the park but dont want to walk the miles it takes to tour the ENTIRE park, and complementary wheel chairs. Something for all ages. This year the stop occured during the butterfly exhibits running which was so extrodonarily well done I would go back a sevond time. The park itself is wonderful. My only qualm is stricty with my experience here with customer service. When purchasing my ticket, my cashier was extremely inconvenienced with having to run my card manually which resulted in a poor attitude. Although the other cashiers seemed pleasant and helpful, MY experience was poor. All around I would reccomened this as a must see when in GR.

I love the gardens so much that I've been a member for over three years. The grounds are well kept, there are fun things for children to do, the rotating special exhibits are always interesting, and the cafe has really good food. This is one of my favorite places in West Michigan.

Take the family. Walk around and look at things. You'll love it. There were turtles downstairs. The farm is cool. You don't have to be a garden nut to enjoy it. Find the banana plants. Look at sculptures. Go looking for waterfalls.

I would give this place ten stars. This park is massive. World class sculptures by renowned artists. All spread out in perfectly manicured gardens and wild natural habitats. You can easily spend an entire day. The main building has additional arboretum rooms featuring cactus and carnivorous plants. There is a small cafe which had both indoor and patio seating with boxed food (not sure if this is only during the Covid outbreak or if it is always this way). The high point of the cafe is the grand display of Chihuly glass adorning the ceiling. There were musicians performing in a great room outside the cafe. Everything here is beautiful and breathtaking.
