A great place to walk,. The grounds are beautifully filled with a variety of plants and manicured, with interesting sculptures and flowers interspersed. Indoors there are changing exhibits, a gift shop, and cafe, membership is affordable.

Absolutely excellent place to go. Not expensive, but expansive. Wonderful garden of all sorts of plants around exquisite sculptures of all types. There's really something for everyone there, check it out!

Atteneded an evening concert in the garden amphitheater. Beautiful back drop to listen to Three Dog Night, who did not disappoint with a soundtrack to my youth. Easy access to seating, rented chairs at $10 a piece (really recommend). Easy access to restrooms (clean) people flow and traffic were easily manageable. Parking free For those who imbibe in alcohol it was available as well as food. Go enjoy make memories !

A beautiful garden and greenhouse with sculptures woven into the plant and field life. One of my favorite places I ve visited in Michigan and would highly recommend to anyone stopping by Grand Rapids. Would have liked to spend more time there if it weren t for previous obligations so will have to come back as it s continuing to expand!

This was the most scenic place I've ever been, so many small worlds in one place, it's easy to get lost in beauty and although there are lots of people, it's also a very private place, always a spot to enjoy for yourself, no matter your mood or interest, there is something magical for you here. I will be returning many, many more times.

Great place to bring kids, toddlers, and babies. The Children's garden is fun for adults, too!

Besides the Lena Meijer Children's Garden, there are greenhouses, a giant horse, a farm garden, and much more.

A family yearly membership is definitely worth it, if you plan to come here more than twice a season.

This is our 3rd year visiting the gardens on a regular basis. There is something for everyone to enjoy. We have a system worked out so I enjoy some "momma time" while my kids are active and learning new things: library, arid room and atrium, outside if weather permits, and the indoor kids' play area. We frequently conclude our visit with lunch in the cafe. The food does not disappoint!

(only downside: very hot day) But has wonderful indoor sections, too: art & greenhouses! The statues and the gardens outdoors continue on very far and wide! Absolutely lovely! The children s section is AMAZING for any kid! So many wonderful hands on, immersive experiences!

I've lost track of how many times I've performed there. They anticipate what an event will need, so that the event goes smoothly. Most venues could learn a great deal from them. The staff is always helpful, making my job so much easier.

Let me start off by saying that this place is truly the most amazing botanical garden that you'll ever go to! Everything about this place is amazing from the staff all of the way up to the plants! Everything is so big and beautiful. Every time I come here I just get lost in the beauty. If you really want a truly amazing experience come here! You will not regret it I promise!

The main entrance is under construction but is well marked. The Christmas tree exhibit was interesting. There is a train and Grand Rapids buildings exhibit which was enjoyable. Did not go outside as it was windy and cold.

The gardens were very pretty and we went to see the butterflies. They were very beautiful but our favorite part was the cactus garden and flower garden before the butterflies. We spent more time in the cactus garden than with the butterflies but the butterflies were still awesome! When we went it was colder and there was construction so we did not go outside but we hope to return in the summer and explore the outside gardens!

The venue was terrible. You had to bring your own beach chairs which were very hard to get in and out of on the sloped hills. Then friends ( husband and wife )that came the husband had to rent a chair for handicapped and didn't know if he would be able to sit with his wife because they were told only if there was enough room. Very sad to say the least.
The opening act for Air Suppy was not terrible but pretty close. The only positive thing about the whole venue was Air Supply!

Having a family membership, or an annual pass is really the only way to enjoy all the Meijer Gardens have to offer considering all of the seasonal and special exhibits that are displayed throughout the year. Great family event. A trip to the gardens can
also make for a great date night , or even a place to go by oneself. No matter how many different times we ve been there we always seem to find something that we didn t notice before. The annual butterfly display is always a wonderful event for children as is the annual Christmas trees from around the world display. Great place to catch an intimate concert during their summer concert series also. Parking is relatively easy and there are minimal, if any stairs. There s a gift shop with a wide array of different things for almost anyone in need of a unique gift.

The Sculptures are supper the Artist leaves it up to you to decide what you want them to be. Even thou they had names.
Decorate the garden for Hollween. gardens are lite up in the even. They do the same Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Get place for children to go have a children garden and a Japanese garden.
You can see how the Meijer loves God! . The family wants to share their blessing and favor from God, with everyone, and have Sculptures from different ethnic group and Artist. Still expanding to show other gifted people

Extremely well maintained and friendly staff. This is my favorite place to take Friends and family that like anything to do with the outdoors. If you like walking it s perfect and you ll get a good exercise. And if you re not into walking they have a shuttle that can take you around to the different exhibits. This place is a must if you re in the Grand Rapids area.

Very nice place. It was pretty busy when we went in the fall, but that's understandable with the leaves changing.

A lot of people like the Japanese garden but personally felt a bet bare. Definitely worth checking out though.

Has a lot of nice trails and the art installation are interesting stop points along the way.
