The tram ride was fun and very educational. Only 45 minutes, but a great way to see the sculptures. Tour also gave good information about Japanese Garden, so we had to go see, fantastic! Truly wonderful place for young and old.

It's so fun and beautiful there they have so many gardens like the childrens garden and the people there are so nice 9/10
The one setback is that there's long lines for the butterflys but they move quickly

Beautiful gardens inside and out, and the art and statues were phenomenal! We felt very safe and everything was clean. Their staff and other patrons were friendly and welcoming. We look forward to bringing friends and our son on our next trip.

Whether indoors or out, this is a fantastic place to share time with family and friends. So glad I got the family membership! We can't wait for the weather to be more mild to really enjoy more of the outdoor space.

These gardens are huge. We stopped by on the way home from Holland with our six year old. You need a minimum of a few of hours if you want to see everything. He loved the kids area and he could probably spend the whole day there but we took the little tram tour and saw all the sculptures on the west end. Worth the $3 each, we stopped to take pictures and sing a little song with the kids on each stop. The new Japanese gardens are also very nice but need a couple more years for all the plants/trees to mature and blend in with the rest of the gardens. We didn't even have time to see all the indoor gardens. Highly recommend it if you're into landscaping/plants/art etc.

Beautiful place to visit whether your into nature or not. Frederick meijer garden has many venues and that are of interest to many. We were in attendance for a tiara and bow tie fashion and it was just awesome. Never knew they hosted such events til I had the opportunity to become apart on it. Would I return? (ABSOLUTELY )

Always beautiful to walk through the gardens and see everything. Of course, it is still warming up so not everything is in full bloom. There is also construction going on right now, but it doesn't get in the way of viewing the gardens.

A gorgeous and delightful place to visit. The gardens were beautiful and the volunteers at the Zen Garden were friendly, helpful and some of the nicest people we met. We even had the fortune to go on a night when they had a free concert. Such a fun day. Highly recommended.

Had a great time! Went with the family, took the kids to see the butterflies and they were absolutely captivated. It was very, very busy but worth the trip. The flowers and various habitats were beautifully groomed and managed. The art exhibits were impressive as well. There are also several different prices and discounts available.

What a beautiful place! Great for a family or a couple. What a fantastic way to spend the day, you will not be sorry you went to Frederik Meijer Gardens, unless of course you are allergic to flowers

garefens are always beautiful, but major construction in the parking lots fur spring 2019 makes it difficult for physically challenged individuals to get to inside entrance. It will be even more awesome when completed I'm sure.

We visited in winter so take that into account for our review.

The only gardens we could appreciate were the indoor ones. They were well maintained and interesting but limited in scope.

We did walk the grounds of the children's garden area as well as the Japanese garden; they were pleasant walks but not much to see in February.

The Womb exhibit was quite interesting, in particular the womb display composed of over 1,000,000 dried flowers.

The Leonardo da Vinci inspired 24 foot high bronze horse statue which is a focal point in the grounds was quite impressive.

I'm sure these grounds would show much better in the warmer months but, given that, these grounds do not measure up to the likes of Longwood Gardens in PA.

An absolutely fantastic place to see a show. I can't believe I've never been there before what a gem! The staff and patrons we're all super friendly. Be aware of the chair policy though. You can only bring in those really short camping chairs... Not your usual bag chairs.
