My family like it here! Friendly staff and nice location. Decent playground, pools and others recreation centers. Focus should be placed on the bathrooms. Combos need improvement.

Honestly I dont know of a better resort for families. This place has literally set the bar for what a family resort should be. They have everything from indoor to outdoor activities. Fun activities all day for families and a shuttle to take you too and from the beach. Definitely me and my families #1 resort destination for now on.

The staff are very pleasant the dinner inside the resort has very good and reasonable food.A wonderful place to take your family from lil kids to big kids and adults

Great family hotel. Gets very noisy, because of all of the kids playing and having fun.

This is only my second day but the amount.of stuff that is included in our stay -free mini golf, indoor and outdoor pools, movies, etc. Is amazing! The unit we are staying in is one of the new ones and it's perfect. So far I'm loving my stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a great place for a family and kids. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly!! I would recommend this to a family who's looking to get Away and keep it simple. You're a quick drive away from the boardwalk if you want to do different things too.

My family and I go every year, the kids love the indoor pool and we like the picnic area, outdoor pool, basketball and miniature golf

Small but cozy. Family friendly where kids will enjoy themselves at the pools, courts, and or mini golf. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again

Visited this place with the kids and they had a blast. The outdoor pool wasnt open yet but the indoor was. The waster is about 3.5 ft deep on the high end. Kids loved it. We stayed un the florida room which was nice and clean. They also have mini golf outside along with basketball, volley ball as well. Its about 2 miles or less from the ocean city board walk. Overall we had a great time.

This place is absolutley horrible. My family and I stayed there a few years ago and the results were displeasing. My family of four (Mom, Dad, and Mom Mom) book a room with two beds and a pullout couch little did we know that we would end up getting a room with mold all in the sink and the shower, and stains on the bedding. WARNING DON'T STAY HERE

My family and I decided to stop here for the night on our drive home from Outer Banks NC. We never been to OC Maryland so we thought, "well it's one night and this place has alot for the kids so let's stay. We we were very disappointed, the rooms are not as nice as the pictures show, the outside pool area was very dirty i stepped on a lemon wedge from someone's drink i had to get 2 empty chip bags from out of the pool/sprinkler area. Im am glad my family and I are only staying for the night. Honestly it was a wast of $234.00 will not return. We are not even trying out the inside pool because of how disappointed we were with the outside pool. If the kids were not tired I would just packed up and went home and said hell with the money.

The hotel is in a great location. Mall across the road as well as many places to eat around it. The resort itself has a nice indoor an outdoor pool, play area for kids, 9 hole mini golf, basketball court, and a mini arcade. They run shuttles to the Ocean City boardwalk which is 1.3 miles away. They have a movie room and show movies 3 times a day (family movies). Room has TV, mini fridge and microwave. Need to update wall sockets as most did not hold plugs well. Free wifi available. Hope to make visiting here an annual event.

To be honest, we will NOT be staying here again. Not all hotels' fault. I had read reviews and was excited about staying here. Unfortunately, the reviews I read did not mention the following:
The positive: Clean rooms; great indoor pool; lots of activities; friendly staff; free parking & wifi; shuttle service to beach.
The negative: Smelly (carpet); paper thin walls; no paper towels in kitchen; not enough parking and...
We felt like we were staying in a trailer park. Lots of families that did not control their kids. Our hotel had a second level. Family above had children that stayed up late. We could hear them not only running around in room but talking/yelling. I had to call front desk 3 x's to complain. The last call was made around 12:30a. Ridiculous!!!
Families in other rooms decided to congregate outside before pool closed and were quite noisy as well as their children. Kids were running back and forth on landing outside our door. Music was being played loudly.
There is a strict zero tolerance enforced by hotel but does not go into effect until 11p. This should be changed to 9p. That way parents and children begin winding down earlier and not so late! And security can begin enforcing as well.
Lastly, at check-in we are told to wear bracelet to pool is a must. I observed serveral children/parents without their bracelets on. When we entered pool facility there was no one around checking to see if everyone that was entering pool had bracelets on.
Again, will not be staying here again.

Staff is great, facilities are good. Bathroom need improvement. Rooms are not soundproof. You can here everything across the walls. Smoke and speed are not enforce.

There were chip crumbs and jelly smeared on the sheet of the pull out couch. I called the desk to ask for a new sheet and was given one that didn t even fit. I went to the front desk to explain what happened and the associate just said oh man . There was hair on the wall of the shower and flies everywhere (probably after the food in the couch). With COVID going on I assumed the rooms would be cleaned with a little more care, didn t appear to be the case. There were kids in the room above us that woke up and began running back and forth at 6 am.

Lady working the pool bar was exceptionally nice. The hot tub was closed. Kids and parents alike were blocking the entrances to the pool and jumping in the water on top of people.

Wonderful place to stay. Would love to go every year the kids enjoy all the activities and all the amenities. Just wish the diner was open and the movie theater.

Me and my family have been here a few times and it's always a great time. FSK does an amazing job of catering to families and kids at a reasonable price! I highly recommend the resort! 2 thumbs up!

My kids love the indoor pool and the mini golf course. The family aspect of the Francis Scott Key is amazing!

The amenities pool, mini golf etc was fine. Room was just ok.

The pool was nice and the food was good. However I dont agree with the every 3 days of the room being cleaned. When you call to get more towels and the maid brings them not very nice. Also on the 3rd day you have to alert another worker that your room still hasn't been cleaned and the maid is rude. Will not stay dont feel welcomed.

Newly renovated and the upgrades are superb. The indoor and outdoor pools are a dream. And the theme is very cool

LOVED IT! used to stay here over 20 years ago quite a bit.. Just went back this year and couldn't believe the transformation. I have got to say! very impressive.. I read a lot of the reviews and can only say, that the rooms were sparkling clean!!! and the beds were the most comfortable.. I would choose this place over those HIGH DOLLAR RITZY places any day!! I actually loved the charm of the place and still do. The pricing is very very affordable and the endless choices of things to do is unreal!! You don't even have to leave the place if you have kids... Plenty to keep them occupied.. Love the new Diner!! all was top notch!!.. CLEAN!!! STAFF ARE GREAT!! love the comfortable old home feel of the place.. !!! DEFINATELY COMING BACK

Love it here!! The new beds are very nice. Not always the cleanest... But worth the money for the pools

Decent place to stay with pretty cool amenities. Easy access to OC beaches as well as Assateague Island attractions.

This is a nice family-oriented resort only a few miles from the boardwalk. The buildings aren't fully sealed, so don't leave sugar out or you will attract ants. The new mattresses are comfortable, but the window unit air conditioners are noisy.

It was good because it had a outdoor and indoor pool.

Very old school feel when you pull up but give it a chance! The pool and mini golf area are great for kids. (Mini golf is just a nice small area and if u go put some big spray or something on to keep the mosquitos at bay. There's a lil bit of standing water there.) There's a little grill and a bar there too but we didn't try them. We had a 6, 8, and 10 yr old and they ended up having a blast! Didn't get a chance to enjoy the indoor pool or arcade but they looked like the ppl there were having fun. It's close to good food, mini golf, race car places, and shopping and a hop skip and a jump away from the beach and carnivals. All in all don't judge this book by it's cover.

This place is fantastic for families. Lots to see and do. Free movies, miniature golf and arts and crafts. Children absolutely love the indoor waterpark. Will definitely come again.

Outstanding place for families! Kids don't want to go home.

Pretty fun for the littles. The wifi didnt work at all though. VERY slow compared to 4g phone if it did work. Usually just timed out every time.

We've stayed twice for the local special. Clean rooms nice beds great amenities for the price. We go for the water park we have an 8 year old and she loves it. Pool is nice and clean and they have a snack bar with good decent priced food and alcohol. Definitely worth the money it's very affordable for what you get.

The rooms are nice but the beds seem small my feet was hanging off. They do not have paper towel in the room or dish cloths.

when I arrived my room was dirty hair in tub and stains on sheets if you have children under 13 I would slightly recommend because of the activities (children would love it) they need to update their sheets/blankets and pillows retrain the house keepers or fire them

Great place for kids, indoorpool area is awesome. Room doors can use a little updating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was nice and not crowded. The room was a little dark. The front desk called to check on our stay and we informed them that our bathroom light was leaking water, enough to form a puddle. Noone came and that was disappointing. We just had to deal with the leak.

It's nice. Great place for the kids and toddlers too.

This was our third time staying here and as always the kids had a lot of fun in the various swimming pools. The rooms were clean and all service was great.

Beautiful hotel.. Shuttle to and from beach Big plus!!!! Best for families with kids 10 and under. Arcade. Indoor and outdoor pools. Daily movie nights on sweet reclining chairs. Great DVD and game lending library. Room very clean. Hotel grounds safe and secure. Great friendly atmosphere....

Could not of asked for a better stay. Facilities are clean, and keep kids very busy. Indoor pool has an actual hot tub and bar, outdoor pull has better bar in my opinion. We stayed for a week and the only complaint was the outdoor pool was a bit cold at night. (10 pm)

Great place for the whole family! We went during the off season so a lot of stuff was closed but we could tell from what we saw to he an awesome summer vacation spot. Gave it 4 stars because our room was awkwardly arranged and we couldn t make food use of the table as it was back in a corned and we had to crawl over it to get to the chairs but it wasn t so awful that it ruined our time there

I think for the price you can find better options on and off the island. They were suppose to provide us with fresh towels and linens on the third day, which never happened, and we called and they said they would, and they didn't. The 3 pools are nice and the out out isn't great, but it's free. If you have kids it's not had, but I think you can do better. Rooms were ok but nothing great, acceptable.

went in February for locals special and had a blast. kids stayed busy in the pool and with crafts. nice rooms. are just rite for the weekend stay

Great place for family vacation. convinently located on route 50 just 10 mins from boardwalk. Resort has lots of options for kids to stay busy. Specially indoor pool and mini golf. Small library with books, puzzles and games. Nice hospitality. Friendly staff. Outlet across the road with all famous brands. Many close by restaurants with variety of options. Small playarea, barbeque, picnic area beside the lake.

Rooms though need renovation. All amenities were working fine.

Francis Scott Key family resort is an awesome fun place to stay. They have hotel rooms & cottages. They have a small library area with computers, and movies you can borrow etc.
The Cottages are so nice and you can rent them for a week at a time, with plenty of sleeping areas and are well-stocked with all the basics you need plus a small yard with a picnic table. The cottage has two bedrooms one with a king size bed, the second bedroom has a twin size bed with a trundle bed that slides out from underneath, the living room has a sleeper couch & a loveseat, there's a dining room table, and a fully stocked kitchen with a full size stove/oven, & refrigerator, also all cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and bowls Etc. Thee's an indoor pool & hot tub if you don't want to be outside in the sun, they have a huge Pavilion with picnic tables and grills, then there's the outdoor water park with a huge pool, small restaurant, mini golf, and other water features. The resort is close to everything but there's so much to do at the resort you really don't have a reason to leave to go anywhere else.

I only got to be here for 1 night but I want to stay here next time. Prime location, pool, playground, no stairs to walk up because stairs sucks, and more!

Look the rooms are a bit tired, but really are ok in our experience. Staff are friendly, lots of youngsters employed obviously for some of the less skilled jobs, but they get the job done, so well done. Housekeeping was a little hit and miss especially with toddler naps - our issue, not the resorts.

Not being oceanfront meant space for indoor pool, outdoor pool, splashpark and other facilities. Drinks by the pool including alcohol not crazy expensive especially considering they have a captive audience. Staying for a few days and intending to spend the majority of time there the tiki cup is worth paying for to get the refill discount.

Never actually used the onsite diner, it was busy and looked cool inside - we just never did.

The facilities are busy but still fun, we were here July 4th so kind of expected it to be crazy busy. It was but this was a vacation for the whole family and our daughter had a ball so that's really all that matters.

Only negative was lack of "policing", older kids on the slides in the toddler (under 36" tall) area, no point going to parent as they were on the slides/pirate ship also with their about 10 and 12 year old boys who were somewhat boisterous. We just stuck by our little ones side and blocked her off and she got tired soon enough so didn't bother saying anything - I don't get the feeling they would have cared one damn fig about anyone else's small child anyway.

Would come back again.

Nice place to stay with kids! Resort is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful. Route 50 diner is a very pleasant treat! Will be back here again next year for sure!
