This is a great hotel they did their best to make my stay enjoyable. Breakfast place was a bit cramped but other than that a great place to stay.

Used this hotel to host a conference. Guests were happy with service and accommodations.

Well located in front of the museum and near the bridge to Ottawa. Very friendly person and clean room.

The doors of the rooms are very noisy and they should change the frames or put small rubber washers to lessen the noise.

Room was ok, but we didn't get the room we ordered, we booked it 3-4 months in advance for a King room, but when we arrived they told us there we're no kings available anymore, so we didn't agree especially with such an early booking. After complaining there was suddenly 1 free, this is the kind of practices that I hate hotels doing, you have been warned.

Great venue for a meetup. Parking is a little rich though at $16

The brunch / buffet is ... bof. But otherwise, the service and the rooms are very good.

My interactions with the staff were non existent, but the room and facilities were clean. The building is old and shows its age in cracked plaster and creaking stair wells, but all in all its nothing any of us haven't seen before.

We were at a business meeting at the hotel. The room was great and the food platters were excellent!

Room was clean and pleasant, not large but enough for what we needed. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but the restaurant did service a wonderful supper. Paying to park always feels a little nickle and dimey from my view but certainly not unique especially in Ottawa. I would stay again.

Not enough parking for bigger vehicles plus they shouldn't allow cars that are not staying at the hotel to park there.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Has a nice built in restaurant. Negatives were that it was very noisy at night, not the hotels fault per se, but the walls seemed thin and the rooms are a bit outdated. Good bed however.

Nice hotel, good service but " special" rate for a wedding was slightly higher than the regular rate

Loved my stay at Four ones by Sheraton. The staff were very polite and helping.

The room was nice and not very expensive.. We had some issues the number of parking places available but nothing major.

Location is simply outstanding, right next to the Children's museum and Canadian Museum of History. very close to the Ottawa river. Take A boat/ aqua taxi ride to the opposite side of Ottawa river to reach the Parliament Hill.

Rooms were clean , a little small but not too bad. We got the room right in front of the elevators, so it was a little noisy at times. The beds were fine a little too soft for my liking.

Lunch and dinner menu at the hotel is fairy limited and there is no room service , you have to go and grab your food yourself. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am till 10:30 am.

Rooms were great. Staff was very nice and pleasant to interact with.
Even though it was during a major convention, the food service in the restaurant and bar area was a little slow.

Room that communicates with neighbors by a very, very poorly soundproof door. We hear the neighbors speak in a low voice. Noisy ventilation, but at least with that we hear less neighboring noises. The restaurant is very good, I took the breaded chicken sandwich, generous portion I recommend. Polite and courteous staff nothing to say on this. Gym and swimming pool clean. Small indoor parking ($) very useful during storms. Comfortable bed.

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. If you have an even numbered room you can hear the Kruger plant 24/7. Some couldn't sleep because of it and isn't that the point of a hotel? It's also awful to hear during the day while in your room. Not very relaxing. Also, there is no hot tub nor is there a bathtub in the room I was in. The wifi was also horrible. I had trouble connecting at times.
Never tried the restaurant nor the gym but would NEVER stay here again given the choice!

Clean and newly renovated room. I appreciate that the toiletries are in dispensers in the shower, so that there isn't the plastic waste from little bottles.

I was only there to photograph a birthday. The staff were very nice and accomadating.

Rooms have decent view, well maintained facilities and services. Parking is okay but costs extra.

Booked room with two beds for myself (I do not like keeping my clothing in the drawers, do not want to forget it). I always put it on the other bed. Hotel decided to give me room with one king size bed. Unacceptable! Was checking in with my parents at 4:15pm. Room was not ready. On my question when is check in time I got the answer that it is "around 4pm"??? What is that? Since when do we get check in around 4pm? Will checkout be also around 12pm? When my parents finally got the key....... There was a person in the room! They had to go down and get another room? What is going on in this hotel! Very sad to see service level is going down with every stay.

The cleanliness and quietness excellent.
No catering available and I was not notified. Disappointing parking not included and still over $ 15 for one night!

Parkin was crazy and why would someone wit a handicap sticker of to pay $15 for Parkin that's crazy , it's so expensive to stay at this hotel and no free parking that's mess up

Nice hotel; the staff was very helpful whenever I called in for any problems. Two problems with the place though is that it is located away from restaurants and shopping places (compared to Best Western on Carling Ave which has many stores and some restaurants within walking range), and that the restaurant which is located on the main floor has terrible food.

Amazing staff at this four points. They actually left a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries in our room after my wife mentioned was our anniversary. Thank you four points and see you again soon!!

Clean rooms, good service and a nice breakfast buffet restaurant.

Room was good, staff were really nice, quite a few restaurants near by.

Location is great, room is nice and comfortable, we had a nice view. BUT the hotel wifi was so atrocious that I waited 5 mins to open google maps to leave this review just to give up and use the data from my phone. How can you pay 450$ for 3 nights and get literally 50 BYTES of data per second. This is 2019, not 2009 for Christ s sake.

Good clean Hotel. We have stayed at different Hotels in Ottawa but Four Points Gatineau is definitely our favourite. Last weekend I forgot a few very valuable items behind called when I got home and guess what they were shipped and I got everything one day later. Thank you Four Points Gatineau staff for your honesty.

Nice rooms, fromt desk staff can be hard to find at night, friendly restaurant staff and decent location

Our room has a king size bed on the 9th floor. The view was spectacular, overlooking the river and Parliament Hill. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed on our whole vacation and we got the rest we desired.

Thank you for promoting an ecological option for room service.

Nice but restaurant staff was a bit rude. Argued over tables and tips in front of clients. Tacked on an obligatory tip for groups over 6. We would have given more but were annoyed by the rule so gave the asking percentage. Take them apples!

Awesome loved my time in the room! Shower was good... Staff was great as well! Do it!

The location is decent being off of a major street and easy to find. Our room was nice but the toilet was clogged when I first tried to use it, they did send someone to come and fix it. The front desk staff was bilingual and very nice. My only real complaints are that they seemed to be doing quite a bit of renovation, the outdoor parking lot was unusable because of renos so you had to park in their underground parkade which was $15 per day and only has about 50 spots. Thankfully we stayed on a Sunday night so the hotel wasn't busy and were able to find a spot. I couldn't imagine if the hotel was full where on earth you would park. I was on the 7th floor and could easily hear my neighbors TV, and in the morning the room above me had its alarm clock go off but I believe no one was in the room because it continued going off for at least 15 minutes. The room itself was spacious and had a fridge.

Doesn't really deserve any stars. First when i git there for check in at 3 witch all rooms should of been ready... The lobby was full with others waiting. When we finally got to our room i goto the bathroom flush and it was clogged already! They sent someone to unclog it. I went to the fire works across st, go out to casino and so on get back and use the bathroom again and after i flush everything started flowing up from the shower drain.... Was unable to use my shower... The most they could do for me was offer 50$ back of the room price... Room was smelly and pool is alot smaller then it looks!

Not right in the middle of things but jist a short walk away. Pleasant stay with no complaints.

Very nice hotels! Comfy, spacious and well lit rooms. Was very surprised to find out on Wednesday nights there was an appetizer and beer special.

The vending machines need to be updated. Not enough choice. The staff is courteous, the rooms are not so well maintained. No soap, cream, soap shampoo soap dispenser every time.
