Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, luxurious and impeccable rooms!

Excellent service. Very accomodating. They let me park my truck in the temporary parking because the regular one was cramped. The room was cleaned and quiet.

Beds are very comfortable. Good location and walking distance to the museums. You can see the river along the way at night it's beautiful especially Parliament Hill.

It was nice, but even if they renovated the bathroom, we had some issues with the toilet. Exept that, the room was very clean!

Great location. Price was acceptable. Pool was much smaller than shown in pictures and awkward to get to. Front Desk staff and concierge went waaay above and beyond for us whixh was amazing.

Beware the "parlour room"!

I reserved a room with two double beds. On my way to the airport, the hotel called, told me they had a note in my reservation that I wanted one bed (I couldn't check, because I was driving), and said that because the hotel was booked solid they would be able to give me a "parlour room". That is, a couch that pulls out into a bed.

I was dubious, but still driving (hands free of course!), and when they said "it still has our pillow top mattress, it's just a bit thinner", I thought "okay, that doesn't sound so bad."

Now I'm in the room. It's the thin pull-out mattress that you would expect from a cheap pull-out couch. As a bonus, the room is right beside the elevators. I am not looking forward to my stay here, because I value sleep.

Never go to this place. They told me to pay $50 for security deposit. I had two rooms booking, ideally they should have charged me $100 which is refundable (as they told me). But when I checked my visa card payments they charged me $350!!!!!.They refunded me 0$ till now. I called them two times to look into the matter. Its been 2 months and they dint pay me a penny back. Management definitely needs to work on this.

Room was ok no mirror in room. Front desk customer service was dissatisfactory.

Hotel well located and clean.
On the other hand, the rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed and thrown beside a room reserved for the employee and a lot of noise during the day.

It's in the middle of city..easy access to any NY landmarks. The room is spacious and bed is comfortable

Great location. Right across the road from The Canadian History Museum. Excellent views of the Parliament buildings. Room was great. We also had a great view. Staff at checkin and checkout were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was great, included an omelette station. Wait staff was very good. We unfortunately did not receive our breakfast as room service because our order card was never collected from our door the night before. I would stay here again.

Ok. Nice room. Insane air conditioning on one side of the room battling a heater on the other side. The middle was prefect. Here for a work function. Good service in the conference section.

Nice size room with a pull out sofa. Great view from our side looking out to the museum and water. The washroom was a little tight. I'd stay here again.

Easy to find and parking was no problem. Nicely located across from the Museum of History.

Food was provided and it was a solid 3 out of 5. I expect if it was served fresh it would have been as good as the restaurant in the lobby.

Conference room had extremely poor temperature control and hovered at about 80 degrees for the entire two days.

The hotel room was clean and quite comfortable. It's the little things like the curved shower curtain rod, dispensers for soap and the cute little packets of coffee are nice touch.

I don't know how old the hotel is but everything but the parking area looked new.

Staff was helpful and genuinely appeared to be happy at work.

Breakfast at the restaurant was quite good and a step up from the conference food. Both the buffet and the menu items were excellent.

No USB ports in hotel room. The one that was in the room was broken. As well as the lamp.

Friendly and accommodating reception staff, room service is impeccable, the air conditioner is noisy .. The meals are correct and the staff of the restaurant so kind. Clean pool and parking available at the same price as elsewhere in general .I will definitely return to this hotel

Been few others four points. Air conditioner /heater makes too much noise and also their renovation contractor did bad job specially in bath tub.

Conference room we used had really awkward set ups, not good for big group meetings

I chose this hotel because of location. It is within walking distance from my work and when it s -38C outside walking heated skyways and underground instead of walking on the street beats anything.
However since January 8, 2019 the hotel restaurant, located in the ground floor by the reception, stopped offering room service and decided on a ridiculous grab & go system for a few items. For example: I got here dreaming of just having an onion soup in my room and resting. No, I am obliged to go downstairs and either grab and go something I don t want to eat if I want to eat in my room or am forced to eat the soup at the restaurant.
There s a convention in town and the reception area was a circus.
I think room service should be available for those wanting it. Taking it away makes this Sheraton experience especially a Marriot golden elite one seems really mediocre.
Mind you staff is friendly and I got a great clean room. But 3 1/2 stars are the maximum I can give to this hotel now because I believe if you take something away from service you should cost less. I m paying more now than I paid last year.

Update: I ordered food through the Grab & Go. They told me to come down in ten minutes. I did. I have been at the bar waiting for 35 minutes now and nothing. Definitely worth to just bite the bullet and eat at the restaurant if I m gonna have to wait for an hour for my food.

I went there a few times for work. The rooms are very respectable, clean and up to date. The conference rooms are fine, nothing more. The staff is courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the Gatineau or Ottawa area.

They gave me a room that another guest was already staying in.

Nice rooms, close to major attractions. Staff is cheerful and knowledgeable. Underground parking is not recommended, it's so small.

Lovely hotel with lots to do nearby. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

Standard accommodation with decent beds. Right across the children's museum so that's a big convenient for us with two little ones.

The service in the bar was extremely fast and the staff was very attentive.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a training even nearby. First time using mobile key which was amazing. Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. There is a small bar/pub to grab a drink and food. There is paid parking on site but also public lots behind the hotel. Nicely located near the museum as well.

Stayed at the hotel service was nice I got into the room after a verry long day and just wanted to sleep I turned on the ac and went to sleep and all threw the night the ac was running verry loud and Everytime I thought OK it's gonna get less louder when the temperature gets to the desired temp but no and the room didn't get cold and when I woke up I opened the curtains and seen that the window was open and wouldn't close and the moulding all over the room was peeling and their was a big yellow stain next to the toilet I only noticed everything in the morning and when I told reception they said mmm it's impossible our windows don't open so I just checked out
