I have eaten some of my most favorite meals here, and even chose to spend one New Years Eve dining there. The food and alcohol is really, really outstanding, and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I've directed multiple people to visit there, and all of them came back raving about it.

It was a nice atmosphere. We had a team lunch here on a weekday. It was pretty busy with the holiday so things were a little slow. I had the spatchcocked chicken with Peruvian spice, mashed potatoes, and seven cheese mac & cheese. It was good, a little salty on the chicken. I'm not sure if I'd go here on my own but overall it was fine.

I ate at this Founding Farmers location for the Fall menu, and it was awesome. I had the goat cheese ravioli and chicken, and it was in some sort of squash puree. I somehow missed that on the menu description, but it really added to the dish. I loved it! Everything always looks so amazing, it's hard to make a decision and order, but the waitress recommended this entree, and I don't regret taking her advice! The atmosphere is really trendy, and there is parking available. I've been to the DC location, and this one lived up to the high standards the city location had set.

My friend and I went to the location at Tysons first but didn't want to wait for 30 minutes so made the reservation at the Potomac location (my first time at that location). We ordered crab cakes and crispy shrimp. The shrimps were okay, however, the crab cakes were BURNT on the flip side. My friend ate it quietly and quickly before I could say anything to the server because of the courteous person he is and because he didn't want to give a tough time to the sweet server but I'm very disappointed with this location's service. At the price that we pay, the least I expect is a good treat! Wish I had a picture for reference. Don't want to go back again

Great food but pricey, and service can be hit or miss. Several times servers have just disappeared or are very slow in bringing something we asked for. I understand being busy but this is often when it's not jammed. Getting coffee refills can be few and far between so make it last! For me the iffy service outweighs the good food, but we've only been here for breakfast. I can't say if service improves for other meals.

They had some issues but they fixed them and made it better, once I had hair in my food so I reported it and the manager brought me a new serving and gave me a free desert. Also, once they gave me under cooked beef and I asked them to redo it and they brought it back and even allowed me to customize it and add free sides for my troubles.

Just amazing, the servers, host and the management simply awesome. Food mind blowing, just their revolving door is crazy, be careful (full disclosure I just dont like revolving doors they freak me out). O, and they have Bull for mensroom and chicken for female restroon, why not sure. Felt weird to me, maybe u okay with it or know the reason for chicken. Beside that, great place, good parking and the crowd is always good, majority are middle and well aged people.

The food is overrated in my opinion and the service was poor. My party was asked to leave as we had been there for an extended amount of time and there were other reservations waiting. How this is my problem as a paying customer, I have no idea. Don t recommend.

This most recent visit was for lunch with friends! The fried chicken, collard greens and baked sweet potato were delicious! The biscuit was a little hard, but that didn't interfere with the taste! Reminded me of my mom's. One friend had the shrimp and grits and her dish was a bit much with all the additions (andouille sausage, tomatoes and giant pieces of onion). She would have preferred a simple plate of cheese grits with a nice pile of shrimp on top. She ate it, but the sausage overpowered the dish. Next time she plans to customize her order. Otherwise, the meal was fantastic!

People will rate this place 5 stars due to the price paid for such basic menu options... Not the best chicken and waffles Mac and cheese could be passed on. Stay away from water had a wet dog smell and syrup sits unchilled it being natural made according to waitress had taste of fermentation.

My wife and I went there in a whim and we couldn't have been more pleased. The service was great and the food was amazing. I really want to go back and try everything on the menu because it was so hard to choose.

We brought a party of four to experience this restaurant.
The beef tartare consisted of 50% capers on a huge piece of bread, poorly presented, hodgepodge of a recipe that strays too far from an edible appetizer. The Tuna Tartare unfortunately suffered from low quality tough tuna which would not meet sashimi quality standards. Did the chef graduate from a known culinary institute? Disgusting!

The beef slider appetizer, was missing the beef. A HUGE bun with an overcooked stamp size beef pattie cooked until it became a mini hockey puck doused and swimming in their version of thousand island dressing.

Unfortunately, the prime rib entree suffered the same fate. We could still see the whip marks where the jockey hit the horse. The meat was tough, stringy, inedible and not of choice or prime quality.

Our water glasses remained empty, service was as poor as the food. Never again!!!

I like coming here, as the food and ambiance is great! Located directly on top of a hill with shops, and more restaurants that are within walking distance. The drinks are also great, and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely return!

Seriously amazing breakfast! 5 friends & family came by at 930am on a Saturday morning and our tummies were in for a treat!

From the bronzed Bourbon French Toast to eggscelent Eggs Benedict to the XL Buttermilk pancakes topped with cinnamon maple syrup and some of the freshest eggs this side of Old McDonalds farm, we were all extremely pleased with our meals.

Fresh and local ingredients, open & stylish atmosphere, definitely add this one to your places to visit!

Service was prompt and the ambience was just right; nothing over the top nor underwhelming. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Food was great and it did not seriously diminish my stash.

Ordered through phone call & the person who took the order was extremely rude the entire time we spoke on the phone. When I showed up to pick up the order I walked in & the lady didn't even acknowledge me. I asked her polity where I could find my order & she didn't even look my way or say a single word. The food is okay, not the best I've tried. I ordered the chicken wings & they looked burnt. Burger was dry and not much taste. Salmon was over priced & had absolutely no flavor. I don't recommend this place at all.

Very crowded. But once through the crowd at the entrance, service was very fast and the food was great. Bronzini perfect. Fish & chips: cod was great, but "chips" were Frenchfries - good enough, but Brits take note. Will be back!

Delicious every time. We picked up our Christmas dinner from here and it was absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong with anything in the menu. The quality of the ingredients and the customer service are top notch.

The food is great, but the service is average and doesn t quite justify the pricing. For example, my to go breakfast has been ready for 20 minutes, yet I am still waiting on beignets, which are typically ordered before entrees. They also don t have a changing table, which is frustrating if you have young kids. Go here for date night, but prepare yourself for an underwhelming experience.

If you like high price food, $2 for a can of coke, nobody at my table enjoyed their selections, .. this is my 3rd time coming here and it's only because I was invited to an already planned event... I would NEVER choose to eat the food they serve on my own. My sister said her shrimp and grits were nasty, she ended up picking her meat out to eat and that's it... My mom had a salad, she did like that, they make their own soda... the dessert was gross too. I was so unimpressed I didn't even bother taking pictures. The atmosphere is very nice. Fried green tomatoes tasted of old grease.
NEVER again.

Definitely a nice place for brunch and a decently diverse menu for lunch and dinner, it looked like (though I haven't been for those). Only one star off because it does feel slightly overpriced (yes, the OJ is fresh squeezed, but I should get more than a short thin glass for more more than $5 a pop...) If you aren't looking for a bargain, though, you'll definitely enjoy yourself. (And many people obviously do. I'd definitely recommend a reservation if you're planning on going at a popular time.)

Always a hit with my texas back country- raised parents. They are always raving about the fried chicken, biscuits, and greens. Not as good as grandma's but the quality of good really makes the taste hot home. I'm a fan of the Manhattan soda and try to come up here whenever I have family in town. The service is generally good and food comes out fast. If you're looking to come in on a weekend, reserve a table online or be ready to wait

Have dined at the Potomac loction twice. But I do not think I will return. With both meals the food was cold...like it had sat under a half working hot light for 15 minutes. I give them strong points for menu creativity and for the ingredients, but the new location is having a difficult time executing.

My family and I are huge fans of Founding Farmers. Most recently I hosted a birthday brunch here, and although they couldn't figure out how to combine tales together (they said they can't sit more than 8 for Sunday brunch, which doesn't make any sense, but ok..) we were able to sit in table near each other which wasn't bad. Service is always 100% and the food is often made with TLC. Only once has my sister had to send back a dish that wasn't cooked correctly, and that's out of 50+ visits which is amazing. Highly recommend! The only thing on my wish list is that they'd mimic Tyson's brunch which goes beyond 11am and offers a bottomless drink option.
