Worst customer service. I returned my book in May ...

Worst customer service. I returned my book in May and in July they charged my credit card for $50. I send them an email and they tell me I need a tracking number to locate the book. I used the prepaid mailer they sent me. Why would I have the tracking number and why wouldn't they have it on file? Why would it take them 2 months to do anything and why wouldn't they get in contact with me first??

I had to search down the exact day when I dropped my book off at the post office. Turns out, they had the book in their warehouse THE ENTIRE TIME. No apology whatsoever from them. And they want me to give them my credit card information over the phone to issue me a refund. This has been the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. Find your books elsewhere or you will likely have a huge headache on your hands.

I turned in my books well over a week ago and today I received an email saying they were due. I logged onto my account, only to find that it states I don't have any book rentals, haven't ever had any book rentals, and haven't ordered anything. I tried to call customer service, but it says that service isn't available anymore and their inbox is full. I emailed help, but I'm not confident anyone will respond. The panic and worry is not worth the money saved, assuming they don't try to charge me for "keeping" the books.

In the past this had been a very good company to rent textbooks from. Recently they seem to be dropping in their service. The location is closed. The customer service telephone department is closed. I returned my books by mail and they still haven't reported that they received my books. Is this place going out of business??

They would repeatedly put me on hold and transfer ...

They would repeatedly put me on hold and transfer my call around their department without warning. They refuse to accept that I mailed my books back to them and are charging me nearly $50 in book purchase fees and I do not even have the books. I do not have the tracking number on my account like I should.
They recently emailed me about finding my books checked in under someone else's account and took responsibility as well as offering me a refund. I am unsure as to if I will order from them again but I am grateful that this issue has been resolved.

I did rent a book from their and it came right on time. When I was done with the book I wanted to send the book back but i accidentally sent the wrong book to them, I've tried getting in contact with them for 6 days and all they said was one of their customer service providers will contact me as soon as possible. Nobody has contacted me! I just wanted my book to be returned to me.

I needed to order a Trig textbook with an access code for a website, but I decided to go with a different company because it was cheaper. BIG MISTAKE. It didn't come with one. When I called CampusBook Rentals, the guy actually checked to see if their book had that access code! This is THE best company for any rental and the only company I will EVER use. The employees go above and beyond and the books actually come with what they say in the item description. Do not use any other company besides them, they give you what you pay for!

I ordered 3 books. When the semester was over I shipped all three books back. They sent me emails confirming they received them. A couple months later I get an email saying I've been sent to debt collection. DO NOT RENT from them. Instead of calling, sending an email, or charging my card on file they sent me to a debt collector for $66.

I've been ordering books for a while now & the best service I've ever received was from Amazon. If you are a new student and are looking to rent books do not rent from here. I ordered mine online and the customer service was horrible... When I had a problem with my books from Amazon they were extremely understanding and hassle free! So if you can, just rent from Amazon and save yourself time and money. Campus Book Rentals was a waste of my time and it's safe to say that they've lost my business and I will never order from them again. Do not make the same mistake!
