Nice ambiance, great service and delicious food! Our large party ate outside for brunch which was lovely with plants all around. Biscuits were delicious as were the very light beignets. Everyone loved their dishes.

Steak boneless ribeye - was very low quality and very tough to cut through at med done pink , crab cakes bland and small for the extra $12 price - I know people love this place for the chicken and waffles; which were great as usual along with the mac and cheese which is creamy and pretty good. Bacon wrapped dates are good, but the cheese (I believe goat) a bit overwhelemed the dish. Chili cheese burger not very flavorful, nor moist and fluffy like i expected; more like red robin-ish but smaller, but recommend trying ff, especially dc one definaltey as so much on the menu to explore. I'll be back if invited to there - its ok - to likeable since nothing overly wrong. 3.3 stars really.

Went here for Valentine s Day around 5 pm, I have dined here before and everything was great. However I ordered a steak medium rare, and it was brought out to me in under 10 minutes and looked like it was just seared. The meat was still bleeding and wasn t cooked, my significant other ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto and that was prepared perfectly. I talked to the waiter and they ended up bringing a new steak out which this one was a little better, the only problem is this one took about 30 minutes longer to get out, so I was left there to watch my significant other eat as I waited. At that point I didn t even want the steak but didn t want to cause a scene on Valentine s Day. We ordered dessert as well and the waiter took that off our check. It was a nice gesture but I will not be returning after this lackluster experience.

The good:

The good:
-Great service.
-Portion to cost ratio is very good.
-Most flavors are palatable.
-Corn bread: rich corn flavor. Best I've had. Recommended.
-Sweet Iced Tea: good.

The not so good:
-Fried green tomatoes, underwhelming, bland tomato flavor. Needs sauce on it which is ok because the provided options are good.
-BBQ pulled pork: sauce on the sweet side and overpowers the pork entirely. If they switch the pork with something else you won't be able to tell based on flavor.
-Baked beans: too sweet, no bean flavors.
-Pickled cucumbers: tastes exactly the same as store bought sweet relish.
-Biscuit: Rock hard thick crust, which is unfortunate because the soft bits I was able to mine from the center tasted good.

The bad:
-There is nothing "Farm to Table" about the flavors in the Potomac location. Flavors are on par with grocery store processed goods. The main theme doesn't make it past the decoration and doesnt seem to have an impact on what's going on in the kitchen.

Closing:
It's food, go try it and make your choice. Nothing on my plate tasted bad. But the ingredients do not match the flavors. If you put pork on a dish I need to taste the pork. If you put beans on a dish I need to taste the beans. I would definitely go back and try different items on the menu while keeping in mind the main theme ends at the decoration and never makes it to the plate.

The MoCo's [ ...short for Montgomery County ] Founding Farmers is still a great place for locally sourced fresh food and drink in MC ( also short for Montgomery County, Maryland -- (smile). The people are awesome and the food is extremely fresh, tasty and sometimes even adventurous. The freshly made spritzers ( non-alcoholic drinks with fresh fruits and/or juices ) are to-die-for...try them, for sure. The atmosphere is rustic - yet uber comfortable - and fits well with the hearty comfort food offered on the menu. Happy dining!

Enjoyed every bit of the food ordered along with excellent customer service from everyone my family and I had interaction with. The buttermilk biscuits, pancakes ,waffles, French toast, applewood bacon and maplewood bacon brought joy to taste buds. I do recommend this location.

Amazing food and drinks (even non alcoholic ones)! Large menu with lots of options regardless of your tastes and/or budget. Recommend reserving a table in advance because they are always busy.

Fantastic! Second time here. Had the hash on first visit and benedict with local smoked salmon and seasonal asparagus this time. French press coffee is delicious especially if you love a strong cup of java. Highly recommend making reservations. You can do so on their website via Open table.

Omg so good. The stuffed French toast was amazing. It was crunchy with a nice cream inside. Lots of people like creamy inside. The grits were great. They were big grits. Like little acini pepe pasta. I had scrambled eggs and bacon too. They seemed to be keeping as safe as they can. Please go support if you could. I live 4 hours away so not sure when I will be back but there is more on the menu for me to try. And I usually just order the same thing over and over.

My wife went here the night before and she liked it so much she had us go back the next night. We had a reservation but we had to wait another 5 - 10 minutes before we could get seated. The bar regularly has specials. However they have an odd policy where the won t allow substitutions or variations in their drinks. Not sure how much I agree with that. The drinks were good though. I had the popular spatchcock chicken and it basically is a quarter of a chicken with a complimentary sauce. Very nice. I guess celebrities come here from time to time because Ben Stein was sitting a few tables away from us along with some congressmen. Good place. I d go back.

WOW! Cinnamon sticks in the syrup, the pastrami hash with poached eggs was unique and delicious with velvety eggs and a tiny dollop of whole grain mustard on the hollandaise sauce. The chicken and waffles were hand breaded and cooked to be More

This place is the best, I had the 8oz center cut Filet with Mashed potatoes and Seven Cheese Macaroni. The Filet was perfect, and the Mac and cheese was to die for. I d eat here everyday if I could. P.S. Daniel was a GREAT waiter!

Potomac location is a tricky place. We went last Saturday in a 12 person group

Service was poor. Food very little. No one got enough food. The bill 340 dollar. No napkins no fork. Most orders messed up. Never go to this place.

Food and service was excellent. Outside patio was nice. Had the mushroom, sausage gnocchi per waitress rec and it was awesome. The server accidentally spilled one of our drinks and they brought us a complimentary dessert - chocolate mousse, one of my faves!

The decor was nice and the food was pretty decent. Unfortunately there was water dripping onto our seating area and some got in my coffee, which was pretty gross. They did replace my coffee, but it was difficult to sit as a group because of it.
