I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and the drinks are so yummy! Try the clementine! You won't regret it!

Shon is incredible. Clearly management and ownership material. The employees all deserve a $15 minimum wage and shouldn t be living on tips!

Food and service was great. The biscuits though could have been more warm and was on the dry side.

Carmen provided fabulous service and the food is delicious as always

General Manager flipped out when my wife noted her alpha-gal allergy to mammals. She just wanted food cooked in separate pan, but he refused, insisting it was too risky: <THERE'S MEAT EVERYWHERE in the kitchen, it's everywhere!!' He warned salad was not completely safe, either, but maybe it's ok. >

Really... maybe?? Holy cow. His bullying rant ruined the meal which was reasonably good food served by nice staff. Bummer.

I can't BELIEVE they are so careless given what their menu promises, so I assume he was having a bad day, and was worried about liability.

Still, he definitely ruined our dinner.

We went for breakfast. The beignets were the highlight. Simply amazing!

Me and my wife got drinks, I ordered a sausage, spinach, and mushroom scrambler, and my wife got a bananna foster waffle. The drinks were great the coffee was a little sweet without needing sugar, and the lemonade was a little more on the lemon side than the sugary side which I think is ideal. The scrambler was amazing no one flavor came through to much and the eggs didnt taste to much like eggs, spinach, mushrooms, or sausage. It was great. The waffle was a little bit of a disappointment cause it was just one waffle and didnt have many bananas on it. It could really do with a increase in portion size given the price. The waiter we had was great and he gave us to go cups for our coffee and lemonade which really set the customer service side of this above what I expected. Overall it is a good place to go for brunch just next time I would more go for the egg dishes.

Big generous portions just the way I love it. I dont go out now because of this crazy Covid outside. But I know that when it will be over, Mocos will be one of the first places to see my face.

Awesome dining experience. The service was fast and attentive. Food are great lot of options for healthy eater. The ambience was so lively. Make sure you make a reservation before coming here.

The server said that they weren't allowed to swap breakfast meat for any vegetarian options, not even cheese! At a brunch place that has meat with nearly every dish, that is supposed to be natural/healthy oriented, this sucks. Also, server forgot our bloody Mary's and were served after the meal, eggs were under cooked, and we had 4 different people servicing our table which led to confusion and poor service. Our whole party was dissatisfied vs. prior experiences.

I like this resturant. The brunch is delicious, my favorite are the pancakes... the bacon is over priced in my opinion.. it's $7.50 or more for 2 pieces of bacon! Also, they don't serve apple juice but serve cranberry juice mixed with Apple juice... I find this silly.

I absolutely love the cedar plank salmon with the broccolini and mashed potatoes.

We didn t stay to eat...they have roaches. One crawled around the back seat of the booth and almost on to a patron. It was gross.

Think fressh, farm fresh .... everything. I'm usually a bit skeptical about the farm to table type restaurants, because of past experiences but my friend insisted. So I tried it and I liked it, no I absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious and filling without the excess grease or salt . . . The menu options were interesting and the wait staff was engaging. The price wasn't bad either, surprisingly.

As the other "Founding Farmers" locations, this one did not disappoint. The service was timely, the food was delicious, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and the area was nice.
We ordered the chicken and waffles breakfast, chicken and spinach enchiladas, country fried steak, roasted chicken and corn salad, founding Farmers breakfast, and deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. For desert, our party shared the chocolate cake with ice cream, and the cherry pie.

Everyone was happy and satisfied with their food, and we would definitely eat them again.

Took over 15 mins to actually order to go at the bar had to go to the hostess to find the bartender so I could order.

I had asked for my eggs over light...they were more well done. The grits we're yummy.and so was he bacon. The English muffins was a bit thick and under toasted and the pancake was unremarkable.

Good food and service, smaller menu when compared to Founding Farmers in Tyson's.

Loved the food and service. I had the roasted vegetables and avocado sandwich and it was heavenly. It's dog friendly as well.

Came in on a Sunday brunch around 11:30/12 so of course I understand the whole Sunday busy brunch scene. I went to the bar to order my food Togo. It took about 15min. Until I got my pancakes and my friend ordered the protein plate, we expected a decent amount of food in this plate since they re suppose to serve 3ggs, 2 breakfast meat, I feel as though that meal was very overpriced (14.5) plus tax. So I we hoped for a nice filling meal. Once arriving home, we received a sad, dissatisfied, small portioned plate..... don t get me wrong though, the restaurant is amazing as well as their food .... but the price and the size of the food is just very disappointing. I just hope they can consider a price reduction or please take it off the menu. No one deserves to be served that plate. Additionally giving me half a container of syrup.... for threee large pancakes..... not right.

This place was awesome!! The most excellent dining experience. Our server was very attentive and professional. We were there today and left extremely full and satisfied. The dining in experience was even better than getting the food from GrubHub. Thank you for a great brunch and we will be seeing you soon.

Catering: I'm a Marketing Manager and I ordered through this restaurant for my first event requiring catering. AMAZING! The food was fresh, and high quality. The service and support though, beyond anything I could have asked for. Emily helped me through everything and ensured the guests had a great food experience (I didn't even know you needed a pan with water to keep food warm). The driver arrived on time and was super helpful with getting the food to the location. Thank you so much!!

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and great food. They make everything themselves including their teas. I recommend going on a Thursday and sitting at the bar to see how they do things (their ginger tea smells amazing as it's being made). Their cornbread comes in a skillet and has actual fresh corn in it as opposed to the ground corn mix you might find at other places. I had beignets for dessert (to go) and they were made to order so if you want some allow 10-15 minutes for them to arrive (your server will warn you about this before you place an order.

Cozy place, good food, responsibly sized portions. Parking nearby can be a bit of a hassle. Nevertheless, we had a nice time.

I have been here so many times. I usually always get their french press coffee, the deviled eggs, an order of their wings to-go and then my entree varies. I've had the gazpacho soup, pot roast (a favorite), the bacon lollis, chicken and waffles... You really can't go wrong here.

Go for the Biscuits Stay for a Meal!
Let me see first I've always hated biscuits because to me they were always dry and crumbly.....never liked them. These biscuits are ridiculous! They have the right texture with a crispy, salty, buttery exterior and a light fluffy interior served with honey butter oh my God these are amazing! As for the rest of the menu I've been three times and everything I've had has been awesome. All the food is so fresh and I love their menu always find something good. Whether it's a salad, a sandwich, or a meal, this is the place to go if you want great food.

Went there for lunch with 8 people and the food was great but the service was just average. Plus the food took a long time to get to the table.

The menu is simple, simply American comfort food. No fancy fusion food or other gimmicky cuisine; the choices are hearty, locally sourced, popular selections such as pot roast or biscuits and gravy. The two constants are that the food is always delicious and there is always too much (making a take-home treat a part of the experience.) A not to be missed culinary delight if you are in the area.

The food was good. Service was slow, the ceiling near the air vents above our table was black, when they originally were white. The design of the dining area results in a very noisy crowded experience. They charged be over $3 for a can of diet soda which I only got because the iced tea tasted off. I will not be returning, mostly due to the poor service and noise.

Good Service. Consistent home cooking. Great craft drinks. Especially the Potomac Swizzle!

The food was very good. The bartender kept interacting with us at the bar, made us feel very included.

The servicer spilled beer all over me, and I didn't order beer. They messed up my order, and two other orders at my table. I had to ask to speak with the manager after all the mistakes. Worst service I have received.

I just left the Moco location because we were just horribly discriminated against I do believe because we re black and treated like we didn t matter because of it. We ve come this location before so I m not sure what has happened but the sever had a visible problem with us from the gate. The server was not displaying proper customer service skills or techniques. I will most certainly be leaving a low performance review to warn other potential patrons especially people of color to stay away, if this is acceptable in your establishments. I was visibly upset to the point were one the mangers with the initials H.M. gave me her information to call her because I no longer felt comfortable in there. My husband and I left so disappointed so we will not ever return to Founding Farmers again. You all just lost a customer. I will inform the BBB and other discrimination advocacy groups of these improper actions against us by your server.

I look forward to hearing from someone in corporate management to address this situation ASAP.

We took my mom there for a special occasion. The food was excellent and the service was great.

The food was fine. However, we were a very large group and the service was a little slow, enough to make the overall experience not commensurate with the cost, the beer menus was absolutely unsat

This place has it all! They do a wonderful job infusing sophistication into classic dishes. It's a really fun place to go for groups. The menu has several different appetizers to choose from that are big enough for several people, and the drink menu is as varied as they come. Also, there is normally a drink of the day designed by one of their bartenders. I highly recommend the goat cheese ravioli with chicken and any other dishes that incorporates biscuits!

I got steak frites and it was like the steak was boiled in gravy. Wasn t tasty or appealing at all but the appetizers were good.

Good food but not great. The service was not very attentive. The price was high for what you got.

I've heard people complain, but I've only had one of four experiences here be less than good. It's not cheap, but their bartenders know what they're doing, and their food comes in decent portions. The servers aren't always very knowledgeable about the drinks, but that's easily circumvented by starting at the bar.

It's been a couple of years since I've visited Founding Farmers, and I'm sad to say I was very disappointed when I visited yesterday. I used to come here because of their interesting vegan and vegetarian dishes, which were placed prominently in the menu. But I was very surprised to find them relegated to the bottom of the menu in a "Meatless" section, as if meat is the center of the world, and to be reduced to just four very overpriced items such as spaghetti squash pomodoro for $16 (I would estimate the ingredients at about $3) and an incredibly ridiculously overpriced $24 Impossible meatloaf. On a lunch menu. On a weekday. Later that day, I went across the street to Gringos and Mariachis, and was much happier! See my review about them.

Breakfast was $50.00. The price was not the issue , nothing justified spending that. The service was terrible not very friendly . I would drive the extra 100 miles for waffle house .

Since the shift to takeout only, we ve ordered twice from the MoCo location. Although the food is tasty, the quality check process for each order is in need of review. The first order was missing the dessert. The second order, many weeks later, was missing (3) orders of French fries and the tomato soup that pairs with the grilled cheese.

These issues could be easily fixed by management with the addition of a quality check process as each order is boxed and placed in the carry out bag.

We will not be returning until the restaurant opens its doors again for inside dining.

Great classic American Cuisine! Hand-crafted cocktails are complex, original, and delicious! Everything is made from scratch, including the liquor!

Been here a couple of times - a little pricy but the food is good and the service impeccable. Try the roasted chicken... and the carrots.

One of my original favs for fresh food and a friendly atmosphere. Their breakfast selections are the best

Not as nice as it used to be. I used to enjoy coming here, but the place has become too crowded and very loud. Even though it's Thursday night, it reminds me of Spring Break back in high school or college. And it's almost guaranteed that the first dish you order won't be available. They seem to run out of food quickly. But I guess you won't find much better in Rockville. Get back into traffic & drive out west.

Everything tasted great and super fresh! The appetisers were great, the drinks were great, the meal was great and so was the service. Date had the shrimp and sun-dried tomato bucatini which she loved and I had the sausage and mushroom gnocchi which was also phenomenal. Highly recommend

I ve been here a dozen times probably and just about everything has been good (I think one time a pasta dish was not great). The staff is always friendly and flexible. I love that they have a protein plate available for breakfast.

The breakfast and desserts are good but the dinner options n sides are very bland Id give it 5 stars for there alcoholic beverages are great and pretty strong but the food is just not so great unless your going for breakfast or brunch otherwise don't bother too pricey for not so good of a taste.

The service was excellent. My date was 30 minutes late and they seated us anyway. I had an appetizer of tomato slices on bread. It was okay at best. The tomatoes had no flavor. Everything else did. I had the shrimp and lobster risotto which was excellent. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse. It was so bad I could not finish it. Mousse is supposed to be light and airy. This was heavy and thick. My date said, "I feel like a construction worker digging through cement." It was also really, really loud. I am glad I went, to scratch the itch of curiosity, but I won't be back.

I ordered some fruit- veggies - homemade wheat bread and noodles- cosmos and two bottles of Chardonnay- the order came the next day and was so fresh and deelish! Very impressed- I will b ordering again- Thank You Founding Farmers

Amazingly large meals & appetizers! Very long wait. Sat at bar since wait was 2.5 hours! Waiters are friendly & apologetic and sing by request. Waiters work as a team so food comes out hot. I recommend the Powdered donut holes for desert w fixings! Try to get there early!!!

The service was horrible. We went with a group to celebrate a special occasion. After the initial greeting, the server took the drink order and disappeared for 15 minutes. I had to leave earlier than the other people in the party but even when waving at the server when he was visible and not in the back, I couldn't get his attention to place my order. After 20 minutes (yes I did time it. I was in a hurry) I had neither gotten my drink, made an order, or even seen the server. I excused myself and went elsewhere. I never heard from the rest of the party as to whether or not it got any better from there. For the price of the food I would expect much better.

The best food and most interesting decor I've had in my adult life. I want to move to town based on how amazing the food was... if your looking for great meals, please come here early and often

Our server, Melissa was so sweet. I remember because its my name lol. Anyways, we made a reservation and good thing because they were packed during lunch on a Wednesday! I was not feeling well so I asked for hot water and lemon. She made sure that my water was hot at all times and always checked back if we needed anything else. Though the place was packed, she was never overwhelmed or at least she never showed it. I appreciated that. I've been here multiple times but she made the experience great.

I've been here twice and have easily fallen in love. The Chicken & Waffles are delicious!

I ve had good dinners at Founding Farmers, but brunch was substandard. The biscuits and gravy were very disappointing. Having only a couple of tablespoons of gravy surprised me, but it was made worse because the biscuits weren t fresh (probably left over from the night before), so they really needed some gravy. To add insult to injury, the restaurant apparently told OpenTable I was a no-show. This isn t the restaurant it once was.

Group of 18, and everyone was happy with their orders. Staff was accommodating and attentive. We were travelling, but would definitely go back if in the area again.

We eat Thanksgivings dinner there every year. The food is phenomenal.
