I just took our fur baby for her first visit here last weekend. The staff are all absolutely fantastic. The compassion they show for each animal is exactly what you want at your vet office. I really appreciate the love they show our pets. Make an appointment here, you will not be disappointed.
Smith's animal clinic is our vet that we take our dog Simon to they are reasonably close to where we live and they have been there for Simon's every need. I like Dr. Smith he will set down and talk to you and explain every detail of the information that is given. Because some of the vet words can be a little daunting.
I called inquiring about the cost of spaying and neutering 2 young cats that strayed onto my property and decided to make their home. I have used Smith Animal Clinic many times before for many years and has been satisfied with them. I was told that the cost would be $250 for a female and a little less for the male. In 2017, I had a stray female cat that I had spayed and the cost was $70.50. I understand the increase in the cost goes up all the time but not over 300%. I am on a fixed income and if their prices have increased that much, will never do business with them again. So sad.
Dr. Christie is my pets' doctor and has been for many years. She always treats them very well. Her staff is very caring too. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of long wait times on phone or at desk, as well as expensive medication costs.

Aways friendly, kind and helpful. Dr. Christie gives great complete care to your fur babies and explains all procedures, medications, and cost. Staff is also excellent.

Smith was alot better than the vets in there now. Did an okay job on dogs emergency c-section. Vets could be nicer.
We had our dogs boarded for a week In Oct 2018, they came home covered in urine and smelling terrible.
Dr Christie is wonderful, she always takes good care of my pets, it is kinda hard for me to not be able to go inside with them, but I understand how it is now. I am just grateful that she's able to be open. My poor boys, they both have allergies and she's always been able to see them. I love the home feeling there.
Ok, first of all this,place stinks like crazy. It smells like chicken poop and dog poop and cat poop all mixed together. And the color they painted their walls is ridiculous. The whole place is just an old house and it ticks me off that the place is so unsanitary. I could hear my dog tapping from the waiting room because they did not treat him right by a long shot. The staff were rude and could care less (at the counter, anyways) and completely ignored me. The vets themselves were nice, but I felt like they were milking every penny from us. Crazy freaking high prices. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!
I ve taken my pup Pepper here since her first 8 week appointment. The staff are all super friendly and really care about every animal that walks through the doors. They are also super informative anytime I ve had a question. Pepper loves going to the vet because of this office! I will always take her and any other future pets here!
As I sit here this morning with the burden on my shoulder of having to put my dog down I looked up Smith Animal clinic to check the hours. Even though I have been going here for 15 years I still needed to look hoping that I could prolong this decision. Smith animal clinic has been the best place for my pets since I moved to this town. Doctor Smith and his staff are the best. Sharon at the desk and been the greatest as well. If you have to travel a few extra miles it's worth it for your pet to be under their care. Thank you Doctor Smith for all the great years of service.

The wait time is just not acceptable. I went in with a stool sample because the vet wanted to check it then talk to me. I started as the only one in the lobby. It took well over an hour for the vet to talk to me and on top of that I was put in a small maybe 3x7 room to wait at about 45 min in. Only for the vet to talk to me for 3 min give me a med and send me on my way.
I cannot say enough nice things about the clinic I take my two dogs there and they get the best care! Thanks for all you do for our fur babies!
I had a stray cat spayed at this clinic and was very pleased with the care my cat received. I feel the clinic still retains the reasonable prices and good service that Dr. Smith had established.

I love Smith's! I will never take my animals anywhere else. My pets have only been seen by Dr. Christi and Dr. Smith(both are beyond fantastic), but I hear great things about the other vetrinarians there. The ladies up front (Sharon and Joe) are so sweet and have always gone above and beyond for me and my disabled mother-in-law. Plus, they're always in a good mood and fun to talk with. I had a Maltese named Sugar who had a lot of health problems. I knew she was suffering and I had to let go. It was on a Saturday and they close at 1:00 on Saturdays (or at least they used to) and I called them at 12:30, unaware they were closing soon. I explained what Sugar was going through. Sharon spoke with Dr. Smith and they said bring her on in. I was devistated and was unsure on what to do. Dr. Smith took his time with me to explain the process in great detail. He never rushed me or got frustrated with my lack of decision making. He told me to take my time. By now, it's 1:30. Finally I decided to go ahead and have her put to sleep. He never pushed that on me and he did a great job at explaining both sides without leaning one way or another. I was calling to the point I couldn't talk when I got there but when I left, I felt peace. I was so grateful for their patience and understanding. They've always done great with my animals and I can't imagine taking them anywhere else.

My experience is I took my chihuahua here for a simple nail clipping which I was told was $10 when I made my appointment. They brought my dog out and informed me I owed them $38 because she was difficult. I was very upset for being charged triple simply because my dog was a bit unruly. They're supposed to be trained to handle animals or have equipment there to accommodate for this. I had been there previously and had her nails clipped and it was $10 that time. I wasn't even made aware that there was going to be an additional fee. They just went ahead and proceeded to clip her then inform me of the charge. At the very least they could have stopped and asked me if I was ok with being charged more or if I would rather not have it done. I was astounded by the price!! Outraged is more like it. Furthermore its aski g me to choose the level of stars that I rate this place before letting me leave my comment. I am choosing one stat because it's making me but I dont even think they're worthy of a star!!!
We are from out of town and were visiting family when our dog became very sick. They took our dog in and quickly diagnosed him and treated him. He had to be kept overnight and the vet actually sent us pictures of our boy to my wife s phone to let us know he was doing ok. They did a great job explaining every thing to us and explaining the medication to us that we will be giving him for the next few days. The entire staff was very friendly and really went out of their way for us. Our pup is feeling much better too!
The staff members are great people. The vet was very good at explaining thing in a way that is easy to understand.
My son does volunteer work here, so I may be a little biased. But the opportunities that this Vet Clinic has given my son, and the amazing changes I've seen in him since his first job shadow have been overwhelming in so many good ways. My son loves, admires Dr. Christie, and I can't thank her enough for giving my son the opportunity at her clinic as well as being a great inspiration to my baby.

The people that work here is very shady. after bringing my animals to this place I ended up having to take one to another vet after I have lost one of them because of the lack of care. They need to go back to school before working on anybody else's pets. I Miss dr. Smith at least he knew what he was doing.

These people were not only very rude, they are not what I call a good vet. When a potential customer calls to try & help their sick baby, & they say "sorry we are booked up" that's also a indication I wouldn't want you as a vet, people like myself think of their pets as family, & you wouldn't do anyone that way. Especially family!! Shame on you!!!

My pets have been clients at Smith's for many years for various circumstances. I have never experienced a bad visit from the front office to the back office I'm very impressed. I've moved over an hour away, but I make that trip. Because when you want the best care, you want the best care you can possibly get. And to me Smith's is the best.

I've heard if you're not an established customer you are treated differently. I don't know about that yet. The lady who brought our dog back out to us reeked of cigarettes and I swear she was high on something.
They just love the animals and they'll do anything they can to help you. They might not has the most high-tech equipment in there so if they can't help you they will definitely refer you somewhere they can.
The staff and veterinarian are great.I visited to have my dog put to sleep and they were very kind and considerate,two weeks later I took my cat to have tooth pulled same great service!would highly recommend for any of your pets needs

The place changed when Dr. Smith sold it. Was a great clinic but now it lacks hospitality.
We took my 6 week old kitten in because she had swelling in her joints. We didnt have an appointment they just said come in and we will try to fit you in. They had to drain her joints and they made sure our baby kitty was well taken care of. I even called back today because I was unsure what to do with her incision and they were happy to help! Bringing all my animals back! They treat them like I want to be treated in a hospital. 5 stars from me!
