I go to the Marriott and the Sea Level bar restaurant weekly when the weather cooperates. This is my happy place! Beautiful views of the water, great food, great happy hour pricing and an Incredibly fun and friendly staff! Weekends are even better when there is live music and a view of the cruise ships heading out to sea!

Since I reserved this hotel. It s been nothing but trouble. Will NEVER stay here again. We reserved a room with a King size bed and they cancelled our room.. so we called the manager and they rebooked us. All was fine until we got to the hotel. They ended up giving us a two twin bed room and there were no other rooms available! And it s our honeymoon!! Worst hotel service and their call center is just as terrible.

Nice hotel right off the beach. Food and drinks in the hotel are pricy. Which is common for hotels. My complaint is they charge you to use WiFI each night unless you're elite status which I felt was crazy

My husband had a work conference here so the kids and I joined in and we added a few days and made it a vacation on our dime. First of all, the hotel itself is beautiful and fancy. We have an ocean view and it's really cool. However it is the whole experience of staying here makes it a 4. I had it a 3 but now that s I ve adjusted my expectations I ve raised it to a 4. It s all about expectations - if you are reading this you ll know what s coming and not be surprised!). The combination of it being surprisingly difficult to get to a place you can buy any food or groceries that aren't from the hotel, combined with the high markup of all restaurant and store items made me feel a little trapped. My husband and I were discussing the unique stranded feeling and he said it best when he said "it feels like an all-inclusive resort but nothing is included." I will leave Fort Lauderdale with little sense of the city, similar as to when you go to an all-inclusive resort. There were no cabs around so we always had to have one called and wait. Walking to and fro seems discouraged, as you have to walk all the away around to the single front entrance. (As approached from other civilization.). The tiny fridge is full of expensive mini bar items with no room for the expensive restaurant leftovers. (It doesn't further reduce my review rating, but also, one of our two keys never worked.)

It's also not reducing my review, but because there was stinky brown kelp everywhere my kids didn't want to be in the ocean or wade in the water where it could touch them. I didn't mind it touching my feet too much but didn't want to go swimming with clouds of it, either!

Very dated hotel. The amenities are great but the rest of the hotel is very dated. The parking garage is very tight and hard to navigate safely. The staff was friendly and we had no issues.

Be sure to be ready to spend some money if you plan on eating at the hotel or to do anything at the hotel. The hotel shop is almost 3x the cost of the Walgreens only a block away. A bottle of water will cost you $6. Bring up Yelp and you will fine some great places to eat that will not rip you off.

The location, food and service was all great and at a reasonable price! However, we found that if your room is located near the water, be prepared to have no phone service and limited to no wireless! Very frustrating...you need to go to the lobby or outside to get service.

Free wireless in the lobby.
Don't take a cab to get downtown, just walk!

Otherwise, I would highly recommend going here and trying their restaurant - 3030.

Have taken the family to this hotel several times. It's one of our favorite places to go to get away from the cold in the Northeast during the winter. The pool is excellent and the beach access is fantastic. The outside restaurant is very pricey as are the drinks. Outside of these two issues everything else is perfect.

We went to an affair here last week. The event space was very nice. The food was good, the drinks were free flowing, the staff was excellent. The amenities of the hotel are also very nice. The beach is private, there are water sport activities to participate in. They have a very nice pool and multiple bars and restaurants throughout the property.

We had our daughters wedding at the hotel. The wedding planner Shelley Levi was beyond amazing! She helped us from start to finish with always a smile on her face. Shelley went over and beyond the call of duty. The other staff was beyond nice and pleasant and extremely helpful! Strongly suggest this hotel for any party you want to have. The rooms were beautiful and there was so much to do at the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a business conference 3/24/19 and was scheduled to check out 3/27/19. Room 1507 has a beautiful view, the grounds of the hotel are immaculate, and the property is generally wonderful. Unfortunately, I needed to stay another night and spoke with the front desk at noon on 3/36 to ask about it. The person said there was plenty of space for me. I came back in the evening, after changing my flight, and was told they knew for a week they were oversold for spring-break. The front desk staff seemed anxious that they didn't even have enough space for everyone showing up over the weekend. They asked me for the identity of the person who told me and I did not remember--not thinking I needed to second guess the guidance I got. Three reasons stick out for me for a 1-star rating. First, the mismanagement in expectations of being told there was space and when clearly there wasn't. Second, being offered no accommodations to help me with my situation. Lastly, I worry about the people booking vacations to come here when they seem to be planning to be oversold. I hope you have a better experience than I did.

My honey and I stayed here over the weekend and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful resort with great service. The food/drinks were great despite being overpriced a little. Still worth it to us though. We ll definitely be back!

This is an excellent resort. There's no need to leave the hotel unless you want to because they have everything you could want. Great restaurants and bars, a great pool area and a beautiful beach. It is pricey but well worth the money.

Loved the place, went there for a conference and the staff was great, the hotel is in front of the beach which is a plus, they have their own parking lot and offer valet so it was perfect.

Recommended a 100% for vacation or any other traveling reasons.

Really great hotel, very clean, very friendly informative staff. Wonderful pool area and bar, the drinks are made by a professional bartender. This place is also great to just come for a day for the beach and spend a night at the hotel.

Beautiful place....It has its own private beach, private cabanas to rent during daylight hours, pools, a decent jacuzzi, bars and restuarants out the wazoo and a nice tiki bar outside, like you would go to on clearwater beach...matter of fact, the whole place reminded me of clearwater beach. they have an oversize bags game outside...and i do mean oversized...like throwing pillows instead of bags. as with every place here, you pay a premium for parking...even as a hotel guest and pay high prices for food and drink. Place was spotless.

Family friendly, nice property. Room with resort fee is around $600/night, attention to details isn't there. Had a room with "Intracoastal view", we are looking out from a balcony at AC units on the roof. If you have kids, it has a nice pool and is kid friendly but if it's a couple getaway, you can get better bang for your buck.

Re: Michael, in response to your note below, we made your hotel aware as soon as we got to our room and asked again later the first night, we were not offered a move or even a free dinner. Very poor

Clean building, pretty interior, decent staff. Overall a nice venue for a convention, just wish that they had a more obvious spot to wash your feet when coming from the beach, if they have one at all.

This hotel should not be representing the Hilton Brand. It is smelly, the paint is chipping off the walls, poorly maintained and someone left urine in the toilet. Id rather be staying at a Motel 6.
