An amazing staff, great amenities, right on the beach this hotel is the perfect location for an amazing vacation !!
We had a great time here! The swimming pool is amazing and we loved the food, specially the chicken quesadilla. The little store with snacks and healthy food was the best place for us! We got a yogurt parfait and a smoothie every day, the ladies working there are the best!
Beautiful and stylist hotel by the water at Fort Lauderdale.
A great location with a private beach and beautiful views from the rooms. Highly recommended.
By far the best hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach. We made this a long stay for a cruise and we are so glad we did.
We arrived early and they were able to check us in without issue. Our room is great, although slightly small, but everything is quite nice.
We have enjoyed the resort pool and spa. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The private beach is by far the best beach in the area, beating out other much more expensive properties.
We are very happy we stayed here and look forward to staying again on our next cruise.
What a great place...We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is right on the beach and couldnt be better. The food is a little pricey but was good. Everyone we came on contact with from the front desk, bar, pool area and housekeeping were friendly and seemed happy to help. We can't wait to return in March!!
Top Notch Resort All The Way/Will Use This Resort Again
Great location, wonderful staff, and quiet beach front hotel. One of the most amazing spas I have visited
Great experience.love the environment, and the pool area is great for kids
This place is beautiful BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR LACK OF HOSPITALITY!
It's the hotel and hospitality business, come on.
I had a bartender lie to me and my 2 friends.
She was complaining a friend was falling asleep so i asked for coffee.
She was a youngish butch woman, working the outside bar and told me the expresso machine was broken. Then i asked for regular coffee and was told it was luke warm and they didn't have a microwave. Why she didn't offer to make new coffee for a paying customer is what put me on to her bad behavior.
I then asked a different girl, and was told the machine was working fine and she made me coffee.
This bad behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry and I'll be emailing the corporate headquarters.
Well kept, clean resort. The closet door/Bathroom door combo was a weird but other than that the room was great.
Great location. Friendly staff. Great ambiance. Several pools and resteraunts. Had a great time at the spa.
Booked a room with a King bed 3 months before my trip, they gave me 2 doubles instead and said they're fully booked and cant do anything about it. Paying over 500 for a room and not getting what you paid for.
Loved it, loved it, loved it. I was originally going to stay at the Renaissance Hotel, but realized it wasn't on the beach. I decided to stay at the Marriott. I just got off a cruise and went straight to the hotel. I was actually able to check in 8:40 AM. This gave me plenty of time to enjoy the beach and pool. My room was an ocean view. I had a nice view of the pool and side view of the ocean. The room was very clean. The pool was a nice size. I was able to get a seat near the pool after going to the beach. Typically, that's difficult. There aren't a lot of restaurants on prem. I walked on the beach, maybe a 20 minute walk. But I don't mind walking.
Fantastic view, great amenities and free drinks for loyalty club members.
One of the nicer places to stay on Fort Lauderdale beach with their own private beach.
The service was polite and excellent, and the food was incredible
I travel a lot, stay at many resort... Don t recommend staying here. Not enough staff to assist, poorly trained staff, bad customer service. Not safe! Go elsewhere! Not family friendly.
The grounds are pretty and well maintained. The fruit infused water is a great treat. The rooms leave a lot to be desired, however. Moldy and cracked exhaust fan covers and almost none existant housing house keeping really detract from the overall experience.
I was in the ball room and it was very nice. Good service.
Overall stay was great but wanted to give a special thanks to the F&B manager D'Sean Lopez and Phil Zarba. I was at the beach and was caught in a strong riptide. I was not able to swim back to shore and my friends were yelling for help. One of my friends came after me but also got caught in the tide. D'Sean Lopez and Phil Zarba were extremely brave and jumped in immediately and saved both of our lives. They were so kind and brave and we are so grateful that they were on the beach that day.
Lovely beachfront caters to their guests. Was there for a wedding
Wonderful looking hotel. Bars are everywhere (including on the beach), it would have been nice if the bars were open past nine outside.
Lovely view, plenty of activities and friendly staff
Excellent room and amenities. Nice flat screen t.v and a nicely designed bathroom. Shower gel, shampoos etc had a special touch. I was impressed with check in staff and the conference rooms. The location could not be any better. There are no eating places nearby and the food is pricey at both in house restaurants. The room comes with two water bottles but they charges $5 for each bottle! Impressed with LED lighted menu and broom sticks at the Ocean Floor Restuarant.
This visit was for my son's 5th birthday. Amazing staff, we are already excited about coming to visit again! The staff was amazing, we felt like family and everyone was polite and accommodating. Dallas felt like a star there. Name mentions...Lonny at the FD, Tina, and Shaun at the surf club, Davidson at the towel booth, Raymonde is HSK, and 2 gentlemen from the bar as well as a young lady at the breakfast restaurant as well, regrettably I can not recall her name. 12/13-16/2019
Great place for adults and children!
UPDATE the other excellent service staff was Sherry!
Great site and amenties. Steps away from one of the most popular beaches in south fl.
Beautiful beach front hotel with fantastic food options. Fortunately we had a conference there which meant there was dinner on the private beach put on for us.
Customer service is amazing, and everything you need is right there!
Marvellous beach with just the right amount of waves and pristine white sands. One of the best breakfasts I've had on a Marriott property. The pool is nice as a break from the beach, with hot jacuzzis on the side, the expertly placed vegetation shielding one part of the property from the other. I didn't get to experience the spa this time but it looks great!
Beautiful resort and friendly staff. This was an amazing experience.
Amazing resort. Staff was great and super friendly. Would definitely stay there again!
This place is amazing as well as their staff. Food is very tasty and the views of the city and the ocean will take your breath away. Only complaint, better toilet paper.
Excellent meeting facilities in their conference center. The buffet lunch had many healthy options as well.
rooms were recently remodeled, and I was very, very disappointed . First, barn sliding closet/bathroom door, is a absolute terrible idea. on two separate occasions, I went to get clothes out of rhe closet and slid the door towards the More
The view is incredible. Didn't spend any money or anything, just met up with some friends. But the view is great and the beach is nice as well.
Very clean and the staff are very friendly and professionals
This place is just gorgeous! We had 12 family & friends join us for a couple of days before our Christmas cruise. The beach is pristine, the accommodations are comfortable and the food & cocktails made it so much fun. What a wonderful send off!
Very nice hotel and great view from our room.
Easy excess to beach nice beach bar. I would love to go back again.
Fort Lauderdale Harbor Beach Marriott is one of the best Hotels in Fort Lauderdale. Directly on the sand with stunning views of the ocean and a great pool. If you are travelling to Ft. Lauderdale add it to your short list of possibilities.
A beautiful hotel and location. I m looking forward to coming back!
It is a very nice hotel, and quite spacious .... the rooms overlooking the sea are amazing ... but obviously you have to pay more for one of them .... I think it is worth waking up and seeing the sea. ...
The room service is good but not spectacular, they brought me a hamburger without ketchup ..., something essential from my point of view in a hamburger ..... if you do not want do not put it ....
The gym is pretty good, but with many broken machines and they don't have a TV and internet connection, the screens of the machines ... one of the machines, the rubber grips are very old and when you take it to make taps, finish with your hand black and cost a lot to take that out of the hand ...., the gym needs more maintenance .....
The slightly dirty glass in some areas ...
That and something else make the experience not perfect as in other places .....
To make the entrance at 4 there was a line ..... more than 15 minutes with the bags there ....
The Wi-Fi service has a cost ..... I think it is 13 dollars the cheapest ....
It is the first time they charge me in a hotel in the last 7 or 8 years .....
Great hotel and pool. Try the spa. When you book a massage you get access to a private pool and sauna for the entire day.
Wrapping up a stay here. In a nutshell a hotel is a hotel and you pay based on location. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean. But there are some things that would make think twice about coming back. A big one would be that I probably wouldn't return due to the shower head. As crazy as it sounds I know if my wife and daughters were here with me they would have a hard time getting the soap out of their hair because the water pressure is so poor. I know, sounds petty, but if I have to deal with at home I don't want to deal with on vacation, especially for what I am paying for this room.
Another thing is the prices. Why do resorts feel the need to whack you for everything. Starbucks, twice the price as normal. Shrimp on the dinner menu $6.00 ea, Breakfast buffet $28.00....Seriously
Also, why is it that the more you pay for a hotel room the less you get for free. Wifi $12.95 a day, Water $3.95 a bottle.
But I guess in the end, if people continue to pay it, they will charge it.
Cell reception here is non existent. As I type this in my room on my $12.95 internet access I have one bar of 3G on my Verizon phone. And that has been pretty consistent at the convention center and the restaurants that we have gone to.
And finally a tip. Uber is here, but they are not as abundant as other areas. Cars can take 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel. So just a heads up from a planning perspective.
Very Nice hotel they offer free welcome drinks everyday.
Beatiful ocean view rooms, very pleasant and relaxing location with all the amenities.
Nice place I visited it on Saturday and the pool was quite full
I always stay in this hotel and always have amazing time.
I was suppose to stay one night in this location but on the day of arrival I had family emergency even though i did mobile check in already, the management was able to help me out by going out of there way. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to people who really enjoy amazing service and location.
Nice hotel, had trouble acclimating. Room was either too cold or bed with beddings was too hot to sleep in. Couldn't sleep without AC, too hot outside.
Nice resort, friendly, great outdoors bar/restaurant. Only complaint is it's all expensive.
I went there for a Sunday brunch. The selection was nice but it was over priced.
Amazing resort! Great time spent for young and old families alike.
My wife & I came to the Harbor Beach Marriott resort on our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how happy we are with this resort. I am disabled & we picked this place specifically because they had handicap accessible rooms with a roll in shower. Not only was has the roll in shower beautiful, the whole resort is handicap friendly, ramps, cranes (if you need it) all the way down to the beach. If I could give 100 stars I would. I STRONGLY APPRECIATE THE HANDICAP FRIENDLINESS of this resort. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! Pat the pool attendant was so nice I felt like we were part of her family & like we knew each other for years! After meeting her for the first time, we told her we were on our honeymoon and she talked to her manager and she gifted us our own private cabana for the week...on her! We even took a picture together, every day she welcomed us with a hug and asked us how everything was. Everyone by the pool was supper accommodating whatever we may need they were there! Nico was so friendly and surprised us with drinks pool side on more than one occasion. We felt like celebrities! Rosa at the resort shop, again, made us feel like part of her family! She even took the time to help us pick out gifts for our friends and family. Rob the man who worked around the pool stopped by our Private Cabana all the time made sure we were happy & content. Lonny (personality +) & Ashley at the front desk were both excellent made us feel right at home. We WILL be back every year for our anniversary, we decided that day 1. We absolutely Loved everyone here and can not wait to see everyone again. After our stressful weekend of getting married this place made our honeymoon extraordinary!!!!
1,000,001 STARS!!
