Waited 6 weeks or my EMT license to be issued and then I get an email saying I need to take a test? I told them I am NREMT certified and they said they would do it. 15 days later nothing and i'm currently on hold and it has been 37 minutes. This is costing me a job!!! GET EMPLOYEES THAT CAN DO THE JOB.

My finace was told in March that she cannot get tested because it is not being done in FL yet, and now I got tested 9 days ago at the site in WPB where Ron Desantis spoke, yet the lab claims I never took the test! #FireDesantis
I m highly dissatisfied with the customer service when I call in asking about my license. They feel like I m bothering them and each person I talk to seems to be bothered. I m still waiting for my license to come in and I m trying my best to be patient with this company.
I called to get more info on the COVID-19 pediatric cases. They could not answer any of my questions. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me. How can anyone make an educated decision if we can t get accurate data? They just said the data can change and did. What a MESS!
The Health Department in Florida sucks they think it is ok to open up the state but the rates are around 9,000 a day i expect better from the department of health and all people need to do is wear a mask
Office of compassionate use unbelievable the amount of time you have to wait for someone to answer your inquiry that is if someone doesn't hang up on you. Please understand that people are looking for help on an already difficult time. Please take the word compassionate to the level it should be.
They are the most horrible department I have ever had to deal with . They always screw up your paperwork, and getting someone on the line to help you is like waiting in line at Walmart on pay day.
Shame of this agency that is supposed to protect public health. FDOH lost my COVID collection sample and never transferred them to the diagnostic company because the diagnostic company never received it.
Also - confirmed cases of people who CANCELLED appointments being diagnosed as positive......
In the coming weeks and month, we will see the true corruption and mishandling and how the FDOH allows this pandemic to get even worse.

I called the Health Dept. to ask questions about bats living inside the roof of our building with more than 70 units. I just wanted them to visit the building to see if there is any cause for concern. I asked to call to set up a visit time so I could show them exactly where the bats are living. The people at the Health Dept's lacked any knowledge about bats. The person who eventualy came out to visit, without any prior notice, couldn't even see the poop dripping down the side of the building from where the bats roost because obviously they don't know how to identify and since there was no notice of visit, I couldn't show where they were. I called again and had set up another visit so I may be on site but, they were reluctant to come back. I am Very disappointed with the service from the Health dept.
Right now, everyone should be researching everything they can from the Florida Department of Health

I called to report food poisoning at the "Funky Pelican" restaurant on Flagler beach, on 12/26. After leaving a message with the health dept. in Flagler county and received no reply, I called the State Department.
I have received no reply from the County or the State.
I started profusely vomiting and diarrihea 3 hrs. after eating at the "Funky Pelican".
I do not want anyone to experience the horrible poisoning I have.
If you're short staffed, hire some more people. Bombarded with immunization requests due to back to school, hire more help or get your dang coworkers to help lighten the load. I called a week ago and left a message. Not surprised, no call back. That was expected!! Called again today, don't get frustrated with me because I don't want to talk to your voicemail. Since I didn't want to leave a message, I called back to get an alternative or something. Got hung up on when the immunization nurse answered. The hell with it! The facility deserves 0 stars and a few training modules on working smarter, not harder!

FL Dept. of Health told a blatant untruth, falsely asserting they have "never heard" of a COVID mask exemption. The voice call was rudely disconnected when I politely yet firmly highlighted their untruth. Herein lies the problem-when persons at the DOH do not consider all persons amid this pandemic.
I am truly disgusted with the lack of customer service I have received from Sherry Pryor of the dental hygiene department. If I could leave no stars I would because she has done absolutely nothing. I have been trying to get a hold of her since March. I have made numerous calls and have left voicemails and she has not returned any of them. This past Friday I made two calls and refused to leave another voicemail, so on the second attempt I chose the option to speak to another representative outside of the hygiene department. The gentleman who answered was very helpful; I told him the issue I have been having getting a hold of Sherry Pryor and he was kind enough to walk over and speak to her directly. When he got back on the line he informed me that he will be transferring my call and Sherry would be sitting in front of the phone to answer it. Finally after 3 months I was able to speak with Sherry. She informed me that she had all of my information she needed to issue me a license number. She said it will be posted in a couple of hours and that I would receive the hard copy in 3-5 business days. It is now Monday and still no license number. I cannot apply for work and have them take me seriously without a license number, nor can I work without it. I have a family I need to support and it is mind blowing at the lack of good work ethic this woman has. I honestly do not know what she is getting paid to do.

Your Department has been deceived or is complacent on the subject of water fluoridation. What is added to the water supply is toxic and not the same as naturally occurring fluoride. Fluride is banned in many parts of the world and in certain parts of the U.S. for good reason. China and India are looking for ways to even reduce natural occurring fluride in the water because of all the damaging health effects.
There are many books and documentaries explaining in great detail how toxic commercial fluride is, for anyone that cares to know.

If u are switching to medical marijuana speak to your doctor about extending your previous prescription as it's hard to say how long it will take but easy to say no one there cares.
They transfer you to be put on hold for more than an hour, they do not help you, they are rude, they make huge mistakes and don t take into account that people are taking hours out of their day to be hung up by them. they gave me a license without testing then i called to fix the issue they revoke it and say that it has to be processed again after waiting 4 weeks. unbelievable.

I am unable to obtain a death certificate for my bachelor uncle indicating cause of death as I am not his "parent, sibling, children or grandchildren." His parents and siblings are long dead and he had no children. Other states I have dealt with, such as Illinois and Indiana, release such information if the requestor is properly identified and their relationship explained. Why is Florida so tight-lipped? People are increasingly keeping health genealogies to inform family members of possible hereditary conditions.
