I would like to commend Paul Price for giving my wife and I one of the most pleasing sales experiences in our long history of purchasing automobiles. Paul is not only one of the most knowledgeable sales people we encountered but he surely represents Mercedes Benz with a high degree of quality in all aspects of the sale.

I had been looking for a car for a few weeks and had been checking out a few dealerships during the time when masks and gloves and appointments are required, and some dealerships were much more prepared and respectful of that process than others. FJ MB was a fantastic experience, and Atanas Petrov could not have been a better person to help me through the process, and I walked out with a car about 90 mins after I showed up. There were a couple snags with a key being the wrong key, but they are quick in helping it get solved. Thanks again for everything

No complaints about the service department!

I'm just personally concerned that my 2015 C300 is having so many problems. The tires on the car seem to be of poor quality which is unfortunate because it is a very expensive car. Very frustrated with how many times I ve had to replace my tires because they became flat.

I had been in the market for the past few months, and due to work and other issues, my purchase effort was postponed until this September. So restarting this effort with Kevin Morley was a pleasure. He assisted me in selecting a car (which sat right on the showroom floor) and with the guidance of his "friend" it turned into a great selection. I must also thank Jennifer Stewart in Finance for her assistance and direction in the sales process. She made a stressful activity painless, and did it with a smile all throughout the process. I probably won't be back to buy a car soon (since my last purchase was about 15 years ago), but I will recommend the staff at Mercedes Benz of Chicago to anyone looking for a great car buying experience!

I needed a new battery and was unable to get my car in before close on Saturday. I used the drop off and Erick was very accommodating and made sure my car got taken care of first thing Monday morning. He was honest about other things that needed to be taken care of and gave me prices up front. This was definitely one of my better experiences with this service center!

I recently purchased my first Mercedes (yesterday in fact) and the experience was exciting, fun, and relaxed, as it should be... not even remotely overwhelming, as I imagined it would be... all thanks to Alex Lazar. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Alex was welcoming, not pushy, and incredibly patient, despite all of my questions. He took the time to explain even the most basic vernacular associated with purchasing a car and, as apprehensive as I was, he made me feel comfortable admitting my limited knowledge in this area. He worked within my budget (not over it) and never pressured me. After my long, stressful day at work, Alex stayed back to accomodate to my schedule and never rushed me. He went through every detail you can think of (and then some) to make sure I was content, informed, and happy with my purchase. I felt really lucky to have Alex greet me when I first walked into the dealership, admittedly curious and a bit nervous. For those of you sifting through reviews, no luck needed on your end. I recommend, with absolute confidence, Alex Lazar. He was reliable and diligent with his follow up, 100%. And, he made the experience fun. After all, purchasing a car should be enjoyable! Plus, he just has the face of an honest, stand-up kind of guy and his performance backed it up. Thanks Alex and thanks Mercedes-Benz of Chicago for making this experience what it should be.

Terry was my service advisor and for the first time in a long time, I was satisfied with his thorough explanation of what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done. He even offered to set up a rental car for me and was promt in letting me know when my car would be ready. He is the best advisor that I have had for a long time and I have been bringing my car to this location for 8 years. I was very happy.

Our salesperson, Sam Tomaino, was superb! We previously bought two Mercedes from different dealers in California. Recently moving to Chicago, Sam helped us with the third purchase. Although both California dealers were pleasant and helpful, Sam was considerably more helpful (and pleasant, too). Even following the sale, he continued to keep in touch to be sure things were going well, and helping us with other items, including:
- using the center console "star" button to save frequently used destinations, radio settings, etc.
- obtaining the extra key fob
- recommending Italian restaurants
- clarifying the SiriusXM and mBrace access and settings
- and a plethora of other questions
Frankly, it is difficult to say enough good things about him!

I used to take my car all the way to Westmont after having a less than neutral experience at Loeber with one of my E class vehicles (in for service more than I was able to drive it and was never really repaired...) ... went to westmont after someone raved about their techs being the best, but when i recieved my car with a missing electrical box I choose to go local. Went to the Elston and Diversy Chicago location only to find the best experience I have had in the last 20 or so Mercedes service visits... this includes MErcedes of Scottsdale and Chandler Arizona ... so the best of 5 ... Michael Craft as he keeps me in the loop as to status with email and text updates.

This was my first experience with Mercedes. I came to see Joe Smalzer on a referral and couldn't be happier with how we were treated. We left with a lease on a C300 and are very happy. I felt confident that Joe was taking care of us and getting us the best deal. He also took a lot of time with me explaining the features of the navigation system, radio and other features. He was understanding when I had to bring my son into the dealership and always made time for my questions and concerns even giving us a loaner car before ours was ready. MB Chicago has been one of my greatest pleasures to conduct business with. Since meeting Patrick in service (now at FJ Audi) in February of 2013 (after purchasing my vehicle from a Wisconsin dealer), I've experienced an unparalleled level of service and commitment to all of my needs. Patrick even went as far as to follow up with me via phone about a month after my service check up to see if I'd like a complimentary wash.

Since my first interaction, I recently decided to move into a trade-in to lease. Joe Smazler came highly recommended. From the get-go not only did Joe listen and provide tailored options... He was enjoyable and down to earth as a person. Joe walked me through the full trade-in to lease process and helped to advise me in my best interests. Perhaps you get treated better when you spend a $100,000 for a car! Don't trust what they tell you get everything in writing and believe me once the sale is over they really don't care. And Be prepared for a run around when dealing with them. Do yourself a favor go to Loeber motors in Lincolnwood even if it's out of your way.

I have been to other dealerships and I felt pressured and pushed to make a decision but I didn't feel that way during my visit here . Dennis was very professional and Instead of feeling pressured I actually felt comfortable and confident to make my decision. He took his time to explain everything to me and lay out everything in details . I recently had the easiest and most efficient car purchase experience at Mercedes Benz Chicago, working with David Cottrell. My appointment was confirmed, and upon arrival my requirements were collected. My questions on options were answered very clearly. I felt as though we were collaborating for the best car for ME.

Paperwork for financing was straight forward, and also efficient. My car was ready the same day, and David took the time to ensure I understood the features, and set basic options with me.

We had very good experience originally. I purchased two cars there. On the last purchase, they have made a mistake transferring the plate to my new vehicle. It's months we are going back and forth. Problem is finally fixed, but we are still waiting for return email or call for last final steps. We emailed them and called and left messages, weeks ago and still waiting. Very disappointed.

We bought a 2015 sprinter in December of 2016. We traded in a 2008 sprinter due to rust coming out in the body. Walter assured us that the new sprinters do not rust and Mercedes offers comprehensive warranty in the rare case it might.
Sure as rain, one year later, rust started popping up all over the body. I set up an appointment at the service center and requested a loaner vehicle. Upon arrival, I was informed no loaner is available and we'd simply be sending pictures to Mercedes to see what course of action they recommend which was supposed to take 3-5 days.
I called back 7 days later and nobody could find any information on my case. The operator couldn't find it, the mechanic couldn't find it and the third person I was transferred to, Mr. Garcia, was unavailable and I was sent to voicemail. I tried calling 4 more times over the course of the week and was met with the same outcome. I then called Walter who promised me a callback within 15 minutes which never happened. When I called him again I was sent to voicemail despite the operator assuring me Walter was in the building.
Three weeks after out initial visit, I received a call from Mr. Garcia stating that we can bring our van to be serviced. I set up an appointment and once again requested a loaner. I was assured there would be one available. Upon arrival today (5/2) for my scheduled appointment, I was once again informed no loaner was available and I drove over an hour for absolutely no reason. I feel completely disregarded and I could not be more unhappy with the service provided.

I had an open recall related to bolt in the steering system. MB of Chicago phoned me twice to notify me of the recall even before I received the letter from MB USA. I had planned to leave the car overnight and take a loaner home. Shortly after checking in, my service consultant asked if I would prefer to wait and that the inspection would only take 45 minutes. I said that would be great. 25 minutes later my car was ready and I was on my way. Service truly exceeded expectations.

"The Best or nothing..." is the claim Benz makes regarding their automobiles. The machine I drive is such a pleasure I would hesitate to call it a car... or simply bite my tongue before doing so! What a privilege it is to roll in such a magnificent vehicle. Perfection is as close as Mercedes Benz claims for their machines truly live up to the higher standard of, "the Best or nothing...."

Usually going to dealers is not one of my favorite things, trying to get a deal, feeling like you are not getting one, etcetera. My experience with Mercedes Benz has been exceptional, this is my third time doing businesses with them and I am very happy. They are very respectful, polite and always looking to do a great job, the finance department has exceptional people same as sales and I do love to have one designated advisor when going for service.
Sales person, Sam very courteous, patient and kind. Finance person Brian also very patient and worked to get me the best option for me.
My advisor is Eric in the service department and he is always ready to get on the phone when I need him and waiting for me any time I have an appointment scheduled.

To appreciate how good Melvin and the other service team members are at Mercedes of Chicago, just go to another Mercedes dealer or even worst, another car manufacturer. When the team at Mercedes Benz of Chicago fix a problem I do not have to come back again for the same problem. My various settings are not changed when I pick up my repaired automobile. The car is not only cleaned when I leave but it is obvious that the service staff respected my car during the repairs.

Furthermore Melvin anticipates issues so that I do not have to react to problems that appear during an A or B service. I always have felt he is on my side and his car knowledge is second to none. That has been the case whether talking about my S63 or GLK 350. He gives me guidance and advice on car matters- clearly vital for this customer who doesn t know if a gas pressure strut is a part on my car or something I did during my professional athletic days and we had just won a championship.

The loaner department has protected me by always having a car for me and one that did not try and squeeze me in a tiny auto.

Back to Melvin for another moment. During Chicago s 2014-2015 pot hole problem, the worst in its history, I went through 2 rims(each cost $3,750) and 4 tires(each cost $500) in one year. Melvin went to bat for me with both Mercedes and the insurance companies. Despite initial denials to replace the parts, Melvin did not allow this and kept fighting for me until they were turned around and approved the replacements.

Having read my review of both Mercedes Benz of Chicago and Melvin, can you see any reason not to take your automobiles to them? And if you need another one, go see Jim Jordan. Unlike many car salesmen Jim will steer you right and always demonstrate that it can be done with the highest level of integrity and honesty.

And yes, my review is totally honest and no, I do not own Mercedes Benz of Chicago and am not related to either Melvin or Jim, let alone any employee of the company!

My girlfriend and I stopped to test drive a c300 sport and Bridgette helped us throughout the whole process. We had been looking for a benz for a while and we decided to give Mercedes Benz of Chicago a try. Out of all the Mercedes dealerships around this by far has been the best! Jaime was an excellent sales person. He was able to promise the car would actually be there when I drove from Madison Wi. You read reviews where a customer drives to the dealership only to discover that the car was sold before they arrived. Not so with Jaime. Cleaned and ready to go as promised. I purchased and serviced multiple vehicles at this dealership. The purchasing experience is always seamless and just the way you are expecting from dealer of this reputation. When looking for vehicle I often visit multiple Chicagoland dealers even go out of my way as far North suburbs or Northwest suburbs to see selections and make sure that my purchase decision is done right. I don't exclusively buy at Mercedes-Benz of Chicago, I bought few vehicles at other locations but what makes these people different is the paperwork process that typically takes 3-4 hours elsewhere they are able to complete in hour window. For someone who often trades vehicles this is important as I don't need to be impressed by their fancy offices or luxury amenities, I just want to get a business done and get out to enjoy my purchase. They are able to accommodate.

Everything was great. The had to reload the memory since for some reason there was interference. Every thing works except the is no ECO driving mode. And before this was displayed on the drivers display with a green icon. Will try to get the ECO mode to work. This drastically effect the milage of the unit 2015 GL 450

Was kept in the loop and in the end the car was fixed. Hopefully, won't be back until next scheduled service. Great staff.

These guys took care of me!

I flew cross country to buy a used sprinter and drive back to Seattle. The transmission was having some issues out the gate, getting stuck in limp mode while driving on the freeway. During my entire drive cross country the people at Mercedes-Benz stayed in contact with me, checked up on me and reassured me that if the van was not running as expected that they would make it right. Special thanks to a Emil Johic for all your help and being so personable.

I bought the van AS IS and did not buy an extended warranty. Mercedes-Benz of Chicago was not responsible for me whatsoever after I drove away nor was it their fault it was having issues. It was just a bad trade-in and the issue didn't come up until I put some miles on it. It wasn't until 2000 miles down the road when the transmission finally failed driving through Missoula Montana we're luckily there was another Mercedes-Benz dealership and an airport. Mercedes-Benz of Chicago worked with Mercedes of Missoula to get me a new transmission! These guys went out of their way to take care of me bigtime, well after the sale. I am very grateful I bought my van through them. Five stars all day!

I can not begin to thank Sam Tomaino [ Sales ] and Roy Woodstrom [ Finance Manager ] enough for such a positive out-of-state purchasing experience. The entire purchase was executed so seamlessly. Yes, I purchased my new Mercedes-Benz vehicle all the way from Florida without one problem.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our car at Mercedes Benz of Chicago. We drove over 2 hours from home and were glad we did. Tetiana went far above and beyond to make it a great buying experience and spent so much time with us making sure all the technology was synced up and we understood how it worked. I would definitely recommend them. Everyone was so helpful and we were treated very well.
