The bar closed at 11pm, the air conditioner in the arcade room was set to 88F in the middle of summer and the towels in the bathroom were smaller than adult size, the quality of the towels were cheap, thin and rough to the skin. Also, my girlfriend is a light sleeper and there is a constant dripping sound coming from the fridge.

I had a horrible experience. When I arrived to the 19th floor trash all the way down the hall. Room appeared clean but pulled linen back on bed to check. Sheets were washed but severely stained. Electric panel hanging of the wall. Room had roaches. Hotel need an upgrade inside as well.
We have had timeshare at Flagship for 10 years and maybe have stayed a total of 3 times. We need to go more often! Love the views of the ocean. The grill on the 7th floor is really really good. Hats off to the chef. Its basic grill food but surprisingly delicious. Our room had two queen beds and a kitchenette. We were happy with it. If it wasn't a pandemic they would have offered us shuttle service to the casinos but its a pandemic so we get it. Maybe would have given 5 stars if the elevators had card access after 9pm. All in all we had a good experience.
Honestly, the people that complain about the facilities and the quality of the hotel, are those who book the basic rooms. My parents and me have been with this company and their time share plans for 6+ years. They have awesome accommodations if you don't take the cheap route. The view is amazing, the service and staff have been awesome every time I went.
I stayed at the Fanta Sea Resort in August 2016, and endured one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I travel frequently for work and pleasure and have stayed in a variety of hotels throughout the United States. I understand that the Fanta Sea property is located within the Atlantic City limits, so I expected higher prices, but I also expected a decent bed, shower, and restful sleep.
The bed was horrible. It reminded me of a cheap motel mattress. The bed had no box spring and was housed in a low, wooden frame that looked like it belonged in an small child's room.
Unbelievably, the shower was worse than the bed. The shower pipe was entirely loose from the wall, which looked extremely unprofessional and caused much vibrating. The shower head had inconsistent pressure and flow. The faucet required 15 minutes of adjusting to find a decent stream that didn't trickle or blast.
To ruin the mediocre night of sleep I was already experiencing, the building's fire alarm went off at 4 AM because an employee burnt a burrito in the break room. Unsure of the severity of the situation at the time, we walked down the stairs to the street where we waited for 20 minutes before learning anything from hotel staff. When we did learn about the irresponsibly burned snack, the hotel staff seemed neither apologetic nor embarrassed.
After speaking with the front desk at 445 AM, they told me that they could only knock $30 off our inflated price. I was given the additional option to speak with the front desk manager, David Loftus. When I spoke with Mr. Loftus, he told me that they would offer a partial refund, making my nightly rate $125 instead of $307. I was told it would take a week or so for the refund to show up. One week later I saw I had been issued a $154 dollar refund, which was $30 dollars less than agreed to.
I called Mr. Loftus numerous times and left a message, but have yet to hear back.
Not only was the hotel room frustrating and not worth the price, but the customer service of Fanta Sea Resort was disappointing. I expected far more from a resort like this.
We arrived to our room and noticed that it was very hot. We blasted our air conditioner and left to go check out the casinos. When we came back to our hotel room, our room was still hot. The temperature was 78 in our room while our air conditioner temperature was at 65. Then we looked in one of the kitchen drawers and found two cockroaches. We complained to the front desk and they changed our room. When we went to the different room we opened up a cabinet and found another cockroach. We were then changed to a different room. Thankfully, this room is not infested with bugs. It made our stay here a bit uncomfortable.
I recently stayed here for the first time recently for a little daycation with my SO and I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We had a corner room which over looked the inlet and if the option is available to you I highly recommend that you take it. Rooms were clean, and the hotel was much more quiet than similar rooms at the casinos. They have a free van that will take you from the hotel to various points of interest in AC like casinos or shopping. We ate at the Blue Water Grille, which was a little pricey for some generic bar food, but if you do not feel like leaving it is a great spot.
The rooms are really nice the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars this because it just seems a bit disorganized, that in the breakfast buffet food was cold
I checked in on a Friday and Saturday morning someone in the front desk gave my ex wife my room number with out my knowledge. She showed up on the boardwalk and made a big seen which cause me to check out a day earlier and they said they will refund me for the inconvenience and I still haven't received my refund stringing me along.
I'm an owner and I come here all the time. This time around my stay is for my four year anniversary. I upgraded to a one bedroom for this special occasion. We came in and loved the view (asked for ocean view and higher up; got partial ocean view but the top floor - which is amazing.) however we just had a few issues. The tub had a used soap bar on it, but otherwise the bathroom was clean. The tv remote in the living room was having issues and the ice bucket we got was a cheap white plastic bucket with no liner (which isn't sanitary) usually we get a stainless steel bucket with plastic liners. No biggie, we went to front desk and told her about the issues.. She seemed flip pant and told us the bucket is what they always used, we explained we have stayed here before and described it. She said ok and I'll send someone up. We went out, came back and got the same bucket, and our tv was on but the remote was still not working. Had to go back down to talk to another employee, more sympathetic cause I seemed annoyed to have to keep going back and forth. They fixed the remote but just gave us another plastic ice bucket. We just ended up saying whatever and are going on to enjoy the rest of our stay and hope we don't encounter any other issues. I love the view and Omar the great is amazing. We keep coming back because we really do love AC. If we were normal patrons these miniscule issues wouldn't be an issue, but as owners who pay a good amount monthly we expected a little more. Front staff shouldn't seem like we are bothering them with little things.. I don't want to feel inconvenienced in my own timeshare.
located a little far from the boardwalk. nice inside pool. hot tub. gym 24hrs. arcade rm. 24hrs.resturant and bar on premises. small store. and shuttle to all casinos . bad point is they charge for parking!
We were there a few days and the same trash was in the hallway the whole time. Quite a few people were complaining about their rooms not being acceptable. Examples of this: one person found used towels in their room. We found balled up paper on the floor and a pair of sneakers in the closet.
Have been coming here for years ,practically all my life and I paid around $380 for two nights (03/01/19 - 03/03/19) for a Oceanview suite . come to find the room in terrible condition . food from previous guest left in the cabinet . Lamps destroyed , the wallpaper peeling and yellow . furniture damaged and ripped and the smoke detectors practically falling off the wall
The rooms are spacious and it seems like most of them have an unobstructed view of the ocean. Nice pool and good restaurant with a good selection of food and beer. Location leaves a little to be desired though as there are abandoned buildings and empty lots around.
Update 8/2018 Terrible service from the start. It took close to an hour to get a bellhop because the is only one apparently (that's what I was told), bathroom in the room was not cleaned well (there was hair in the tub), balconies are wobbly, and everyone's favorite reply to anything said is, "I'm sorry you feel that way."
Had a wonderful time! Room was very nice and lots of changes happening in AC. They have a wonderful restaurant and a new bar in the lobby. Owner is upgrading the property on lots of exciting ways. Indoor pool and hot tub
Went on the timeshare presentation at the Flagship. The people working there were well informed and not overly pushy. The deal didnt fit my current needs. The did give all the promotions that were promised. But I'm not sure how easy it'll be to take advantage of them.
Terrible the food was not great and service was not great at all my husband got sick and I had to check out early and there was nobody to help" with bags
We arrived in parking garage only to find we needed to walk up two flights of stairs to check in. Get into our room and we opened the closet to put clothes in and it came off in my hands. Went into bathroom only to notice the soap was used and rewrapped and the shower samples were used. Staff were very friendly.
Went to Flagship hotel for the weekend (Fri-Sun.) Checking in was a LOOOONG process. 2 people only working at the check in desk on Friday?! When it was finally my turn (after 40minutes wait), they could not find my reservation anywhere (another 15minutes wait). Highly unorganized. So after we finally checked in, we were told the elevators are under construction. Another 5 min wait for the elevator. So now we were at the room. The views are nice and rooms were clean. We decided to get pizza at Pizza Hut (floor#6). Getting there on the elevator from the 21 floor - 20 minutes. We ordered to go and where told 20 minutes wait. Coming back after 20 minutes and see our pizza waiting on the bar counter but the person responsible for handing it to us is too busy yapping on the phone (could tell it was personal and not business related). After that he started going through his facebook. OMG! Hungry and highly aggravated we were trying to get his attention but he just WALKED AWAY! OMG! I just grabbed one of the waiters and he was willing to help us. It is worth mentioning that at night it seemed the elevators where not working at all - after 20 minutes wait on the 1st level, we took the service elevator to the 6th floor , waited 20 minutes for another one to go up and finally some of us decided just to use stairs.....to get to the 21st floor....good exercise....were passing some of the other guests who looked close to passing out drunk and tired from climbing all these stairs...Oh yes, and if you are checking out on Sunday, forget about using the elevator....I carried my luggage all the way down from 21st to ground on the stairs, whereas my friends waited 45 minutes for the elevator (if you are late to check out-they will charge you.) I don`t understand it - if they have these constructions going on, it should be highlighted during the booking process and the prices should be MUCH less. The hotel has a nice pool but people go in their CLOTHES, not swim suits. I was grossed out...:( Would not go there again.
Not quite as inclusive as our timeshare in Orlando. The people all all very nice. Omar The Great driving the shuttle really is great. Great views from our room.
Most workers were very nice (Shoutout to Edward). But no places to house of your feet after the beach, Elevators were quick when no one was around, AMAZING views of the ocean and city.
I've stay here a few times and usually I love staying here. However this time not so good. We must have one of the older rooms. Small bed, loud pipes at night, old decor and brown water in the am. Turned off for sure!
