Huge hotel, efficient housekeeping staff, clean and functional, water dispensers available on every floor even for hot water, thin walls. Reception is slow, especially when the check in kiosks are down from midnight till 6-7am when the queue can take hours. Water pressure from the shower is strong and temperature surprisingly consistent for a hotel with that much traffic. Many rooms have windows that face each other and those that face outside may have construction sites obstructing the scenery.

Clean room, but furniture and fittings are worn out. Standard room came with small old LCD TV with local channels only. Front desk service is OK. Check in could easily take 10-30 minutes during peak hours.

Best hotel to stay when you go to Genting....The color of this hotel were quietly unique and attraction for me to stayed there..The service and facilities there also quite excellent compare to other..the room was completely clean,tidy and comfy for me to stay there..

Known to most singaporean and malaysian, Genting is the place to be for cool weather and place to gamble. First world hotel is the cheapest hotel in genting highland itself. The lowest price during low season (non-school holiday and mondays to thursdays) sometimes you can get a room for USD 15 to 20 per night (peak season price can go up to USD 60 to 80). But don't expect luxury living, barely enough walking space, accommodate 2 and the toilet virtually has no privacy, although the toilet bowl and showering area is separated, you have to walk naked between them, where the washing basin is.
Good location if you are going genting for the entertainment and shopping, nearest to the cable car disembarking area, cinema, food area.
The indoor fun park is opened for children between 5 to 18, so a good place to be during off peak period. The jam up the hill to genting during chinese new year and holiday season is pretty bad, even if you are planning to take cable car.
Do visit the temple half way up the hill, even if just to see the turtle and enjoy the quiet tranquility.

Nice place, cool mountain air, many varieties of retail and F&B outlets, cineplex, indoor theme park for kids, linked to First World Hotel and casino. 20th Century Fox Theme Park under construction. The new Awana Cable Car System and the new Sky Avenue Shopping Mall is due to be completed.

good but can be better if spacious and more comfort room

Nothing like it. A very large shopping center that reminded me of West Edmonton Mall, but up in the mountains in a jungle. You take a gondola to get there. A lot of resteraunts & stores, bit also a lot of attractions & performances. Definitely worth checking out, but very crowded.

Nice food all over Sky Avenue except both indoor and outdoor theme parks are working in progress. Roads are wider and lights are switch on to facilitate safety road trips

Booked the Y5 triple room on Tower 3, which is quite small in terms of space, similar to the room on a cruise ship. Room come with basic amenities, cable TV, wifi and safe. Bed was comfortable. Amenities and eateries were easily accessible. The Terminal 2 cafeteria located at level 1 of Tower 3 commanded the million dollar view of the mountainous terrain on Genting Highlands. Full of fun for young and old, including shopping, which is just a cable car ride away to the new Genting Highland Premium Outlet mall. Suitable getaway for all ages. Will definitely come back again.

Everything is ok except the counter check-in take me more than an hour to get the room as I was unable to do a machine check-in.

Standard/Deluxe/Y5 they all comes at the same size.. It was too small , just like bathroom + idk why don't open for Mountain View yet there's plenty of it shows available w/out rservation.
I bet prhaps for WALK-IN type. No parking for guest. Need to pay max < 20 per night.

No air con!! Only fan, and you can open your window..

Check in by your self. They will charge you extra if you use the check in counter.

Was at Genting & stayed in First World Hotel - Standard Room for 3 nights. Had a surprise room upgrade to Wifi Triple Room for the last night. There were ample shopping, dining & entertainment. Christmas mood was great with beautiful deco, choir & outdoor mini carnival. Best of al,l won some money at the Casino.

Nice place. Good hotel. Room size is small. But place is demand. You can opt mountain view. Connected to sky Avenue mall. 7 eleven store 24 hours available.. but problem is with check in times. 3PM is check in and 11 AM is check out. Hourly based promotions are there and better to book travel sites like make my trip, Goibibo,etc,..... Hit water available. My room not having air conditioner. I don't know about rest of rooms. But no need of it. Climate is cool.... Especially for couples is good one.

Every time i go to Genting Highland aka Resort World Genting. I will book my hotel at First World Hotel. Because Genting usually give me free hotel room. The toilet in the hotel room is kinda weird because it is not lockable,you can only slide to close and the toilet floor level is same with the floor level outside the toilet, so the water will flow to outside easily and the floor outside easily get wet. Overall the hotel room is clean and good

The location is great.The check in is easy and fast,not requiring more that an hour!

Absolutely good however sometimes there is some places where are dirty and not be cleaned.

When l booked for deluxe room upon check-in l was given standard room only.

Not so good service now.standard dropped. Q-ing for checkin rooms very extremely long and really slow. For those who are impatience personality , Best advice is to do self check-in kiosk is.much faster than awaiting for the counter staff. Do not spoil your holiday mood becos of this ....

Waited 2hrs for check-in during peak season. The World Club Room in tower 2 is big & comfortable.

Overall is ok. Only problem is there is no enforcement on no smoking. It caused me a lot of inconvenience due to the smoke when ever I walk along the corridor of the hotel despite non smoking floor. I even encountered a few times people smoked inside the lift. This could be very dangerous if problem happened to the lift.

Amazing. You'll have everything when you come there. The hotel, Restaurant, Plaza, Casino,... Everything you need will be right there.
