First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Clean room with basic amenities, courteous counter staff.
However, there is short coming and I would only liaise with customer service staff.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the casino & Indoor theme park! I think it s worth staying at least one night to experience it once in a lifetime.

Just a standard budget hotel. No toothbrush. Small and smelly towel. The room so small. Nothing good to watch from the tv. Dusty room. Dont choose new tower(tower 3/XYZ room). It was so far away. Choose tower 1 instead and upgrade to larger room

Not that good as the rate and review show,may be our bad luck again . Frist time We reach earlier in the hotel but we manage to check in at the counter by paying RM5 .but this time can't,even before we got confirm from the office, that we can request for early check in,we just go counter n pay RM5 .hey !that day is Monday n now is not pick season.

2.Service bad (English is poor then mine,how come?)(the attitude is terrible,we drive there early n we were tired ,we just asking for early check in ,we confirm with the staff before we reach ,we thought we can have good rest after a long journey ,so disappointed)
3. The hall is damn freezing.(we need to Wait till 8am than can check in,we no choice need to wait at lobby)
4. I'm not sure that the this hotel got do laundry or clean the room there are stains on the couches, walls. bed sheets, pillows smell not that nice = = |||.This is the second time
we stay ,I'm not sure but yes it happen to us is was second time already.(but we just stay for Short holiday only we don't mind it)

First World Hotel is directly connected to First World Plaza, which houses a 500,000 square-foot indoor theme park, shopping center and many dining options. It also houses a casino and fitness center. Free parking is provided.

First World Hotel is 1.5 hours by bus from Kuala Lumpur. A cable car ride from Genting Skyway Station takes 11 minutes and a further 10 minutes on foot.

Rooms are equipped with a fan to complement the cool mountain air. Tea and coffee making facilities and a safety deposit box is provided.

The hotel is located within Resorts World Genting, an entertainment village housing leisure options including a cineplex, karaoke facilities and a theater. The hotel has a business center and offers laundry services. Self check-in kiosks and WiFi access are available at the lobby area.

The worst hotel ever stayed in ...The lobby looks like a fish market ...Everything has to be paid ..Even wifi is charged ...Rooms are as if u are staying in a 3rd class lodge....No value for the money spend ....Carry your own luggage ..and take it to your room....Overall..Rubbish in every thing ..

Exceptional hotel befitting the elites. Services are top notch with almost no delay in addressing any problems. However the hotel location is quite a distance from the main theme park and casino so you will have to walk around a bit. Room cost is affordable with packages

Very big hotel thats all we can say about this hotel in fact all hotels in genting highland are very big and interconnected if you want to enjoy nature this is bad place . Good for gambar and other activities . For families only attraction will be sky car their are construction going on my be it will become better if put some rides .

I booked through Genting reservation hot line , only allowed to booked three days stay only and I was informed to rebook for one more day extension and I forgot !(10-12 December)
Planned is to stay till 13-Dec.
So I last Minute I went to the service counter and staffs is very patience and helpful to assist me due I'm with my mom in which in walking difficulties and with wheelchair . Not possible to change to another room , eventually we make it the stay in the same room . Thank you .

Genting casino is better than skycasino all the people r smoking inside n i become 2nd hand smoker wait get cancel

World's largest hotel and has one of the biggest shopping mall area and food arena. Good for a completed day shopping and entertainment

This is the cheapest hotel i can get at genting highlands but check in progress so complicated plus taking long time to que ..

Worst Hotel I stay so far.

As a so-called world larger hotel but the service and maintenance can be lots better.

Book a room to stay from 16 to 19 June 2019 during my birthday period. However, the room is very disappointing.

1. The TV is not working at all.
2. The room floor is full of dust and I have mop myself.
3. The room full with durian smell especially the refrigerator.
4. For guest stay in their hotel, should come with complimentary parking.
5. The hotel should stop all night work. I stay there for 3 nights and every night there is loud banging sound through out the night.

Got liquid soap but why didn't provide shampoo ? No rm slippers too

Amazing tourist hotspot! You expect the best from such a place and it does not disappoint! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and pleasant and there is an abundance of activities to do nearby, including an indoor theme park, hundreds of restaurants and cafe's, cinemas and more!! You can easily spend a super fun and happening weekend there. Oh and there are casinos nearby too for high rollers and casual players like me.

Small rooms for basic room. Check in starts at 3pm and check out is at 11am. We had to pay so much for the room because it was December.

The good part is that check in can be done automatically but in December or during busy periods, it can take a long time.

It is connected to the mall and indoor theme park which is nice.

This hotel has a lot of rooms, we stayed in a family room and the room was not so big but clean enough.
Equipment and standard room facilities, but at least by staying here we have enough time to explore the genting highlands even though the outdoor theme park is still unfinished

Free 3Dd2N stay couldn t add bed for 3rd person. The self reg kiosk should start earlier so we can choose early check in either 6am onwards or add amount to make booking start earlier as bus arrive 3am but no option of rest lounge or place to rest.
Claiming of rewards impossible bec there is no reward Booth in sky casino 3.
Introduce my sister inlaw to join but too full for ice cream. Old casino say can take booklet voucher to sky casino to claim ice cream anytime. Went next day sky casino don t allow bec she say old casino should give me a voucher . Very confusing. All your rewards should have a fix place to claim bec place too big to find. Recommend new members better to get points than ice cream and proc sure be simpler .
The $30 slot game my sister inlaw no need to deposit RM10 but mine redeemed at sky casino must deposit RM10. Frustrating as some staff impatient, some ask one question provide one answer. No initiative to provide advance answers.Whike some have patience.
Cleanliness is no Gd but thanks to the management was settled promptly.

Unable to book 2 free rooms on the same date. Should allow to book 2 rooms at the same date, after all I bring friends there to stay and donates money to your casinos

This round i travelled with family together with my 86yrs old mom.. To ceiebrate my birthday & Christmas .. initially checking in was chaotic..disappointed that there are lesser chairs seats so my mom get a seat .. someone kind heart given her seat to her.

The decoration is beautiful at the arena but can t see any Santa Claus or Santarina or carol singing around or like giving balloons, sweets or chocolates.. so diff I spent my last at Macau

Furthemore counter staffs are unclear initially I was told that I can go to counter on 21/12 at 9.30am to upgraded or top up $ stay on 22/12. After queue 20 over ppl on 21/12 in the morning.. end up staffs told cannot .. got to come back on 22/12 morning .. sigh! No welcome or birthday gift for me

Bathroom not clean. Mold on the wall and door. Window broken. Too noisy.

Lots of changes for the past few years until now, main focus on casino but now there's other entertainment for kids as well, worth to come by.

It's indeed a very exciting place with all the food outlets and shopping mall, except room and toilet is not so convenient in a standard room design. Would prefer either Deluxe Or Superior on my next visit.

Check in is now automated but is complicated and not user friend nor customisable. Asking the counter for assistance adds a RM15 surcharge and early check in by 1 min or earlier is a RM5 surcharge.

More shopping, more restaurant to choose. But I hope the facilites of the theme park can complete faster.

This hotel is in very good location nearby to all major attractions.

Tower 3 is the best environment than tower 2 and 1 ...the weekdays price is the best and cheaper than weekends

Self checking in terminal was too slow and the staff helping seniors to check in was too grumpy. When I got into the suppose non smoking floor I could smell cigarette smoke every where in the corridor and the room. The management should strictly impose the non smoking rules.

Always enjoy coming to Genting. Where the air is cool the excitement is hot.

Why do I have to pay a big sum of ringgit for my stay on Sunday ( 15/12/19 ) despite of Gold card status ? I paid 267 ringgit to be exact . You could have charged me less .
I am a regular viisitor . Hope you will give me a little more consideration the next time I come along .

Receptionist service speed could be improved. The room is sufficient for a budget stay if you don't mind the bathroom and toilet are small.

Their system had error and we had to queue & wait for almost 4hrs before we got our room. We also cant request for non-smoking room. Not a happy experience :(

Very basic room, nice and clean. No complains. Check in was a bit problematic but check out took like 5 seconds.

Only non-smoking rooms available when we checked in on 15 December. The whole floor,including the rooms reeked of cigarette smell. Room is very small,with no proper wardrobe to hang clothes, and lacks a table and chair. There were no bedroom slippers, toothbrush or toothpaste provided. We paid around 400 MYR a night for the Y5 deluxe room, which is too expensive considering what we got. The hotel can definitely see more improvements by providing guests with more amenities and add more non smoking floors. The only plus point was the location.The housekeeping staff were also friendly.

If you just want to have rest...then this hotel is quite good...

Worlds largest hotel so the staff are not alwats accessible... Most of the things are self service here... There are many attractions in the hotel itself like casino, snow world, indoor theme park, shopping, bowling alley, Starbucks etc... Living here will be a different experience definitely.. but as this hotel has about 1780 rooms here, lobby is mostly crowded n seems like an airports waiting area....

Hygiene was the main reason. Dusty and smelly pillow case.
