First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Hope this would not be the last time Genting offered me to stay overnight here.

Thanks genting for the free room.My U.K friends n me have a wonderful stay 3 nights at genting. Too bad we miss all the old mesin near resort.like cheese chapper,fortune fairy, great wall.i be very thankful if you can let me know where all this old mesin gone. Thank you very much. I will join the concert on 8th Nov again

Good hotel, nice rooms, ambience, lighting, good facilities.

service is not there....especially the food is horrible...don't even try Mr.Teh Taleh

Stayed overnight at the new block 3 area on the 22nd storey. Greeted with a tidy room, the outside view is great. Only problem I've found was that the toilet door would come into contact with the basin. Wi-Fi works well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Although I do wish to be able to use the gym facilities. There is a problem with one of the lift, it did not proceed up when after it stopped at another storey. The security guard stationed outside the lifts gave us a sense of security. At ground level they have T2 which has a great selection of food. Only complain would be that block 3 is further away from the newer buildings (such as casinos and shopping areas) would not recommend block 3 if you have a wheelchair bound relative/friend with you. A solid 4.0/5.0 for the hotel itself.

Knocked my at 8 am . Switch off electricity at 10 am. But check out time is 11am..
Not only happens to me, also happens to my brother in law, on the 7th floor.

Excellent location. There are three towers. 1 /2 and 3. 1 & 2 are very near to the casino and the rest of the shops in the newer wings. Choose them if you have old folks or people who can't walk far. Tower 3 provides WiFi but it is far to walk to the casino and main shops hence I do not recommend. Do not use the auto check in if you prefer non smoking floors. The auto check in will randomly assign u rooms regardless of whether u have indicated smoking or non smoking during yr booking. Do bring a hot water flask as they provide a hot water dispenser in the common area. Very convenient

Good for the kids and plenty of food choices night and day. Brilliant getaway for families staying in KL

Good location, room is cleaned and the staff are polite.

Really noisy, lots of machines making loud noises throughout the night. But the room was comfortable and clean.

Me and my husband stayed in a standard room. The shower was too small to a point i can t shower without touching the walls plus the water pressure was quite low. Bedsheet, toilet and shower is clean but carpet is a little dirty. Curtain and carpet design can use a little update.

It is located at Genting Highland, affordable, and you can check-in and check-out at many machines near the reception counter.
The room had enough space to move around, very basic bathroom with shower, toilet and a sink.
No need AC, location is cold so be prepared for thick clothes for those who got cold easily.

Overall still not bad with plenty of food n shopping

Room was too small and no amenities. Towels were as thin as a bedsheet. There were webs around the room and floor. Not worth the price to pay

3 stars Hotel, waiting too long for key card and bus to temple. 1 hour time. No air-con. & WiFi at room.

Always a nice hotel for short term vacation for family.....

The self check-in kiosk save our time and most of the decorations still remain throughout the years.

My review : Never inform date to collect calenter, today cannot get calenter, kiosk mechine to book room can get one free meal, where n when can get meal.? my Genting card expired no one tell me I need to pay for parking. n....

Was okay...though the last hotel with a good view...nothing more than that in the hotel.

not very satify cos i requested for window view not given,so disppointed.

Clean and very basic...but for price it is as its name:first world price.

First time here & room is really disappointing without a proper dressing table. Bathroom facilities & tv reception are bad! Doesn't even have ventilation system! Worst room ever. Never coming back!

The atmosphere is cool. Casino, theme park, and mall are in one place. 50 RM each request (view of the room, what level etc)

Only a short trip. Took 6hours check in cost rm94.nice room.only got problem when touch the card slot, need to go again to the receptionist counter. A bit far from our room

Cheap and best hotel to stay, but only restroom in the room is small but ok

The room price is not logical & too high price... Its better getting a apartment homestay nearby...

Stayed in First World Club Room, spacious room with basic room facilities provided. Only setback was room stinks of cigarettes smell

Although the hotel was crowded, the auto check in really makes the checking in much easy and convenient

It's huge hotel. With all the fun activities.
We did bowling here.
Also there was some antique museum doni remember the name exactly.
Also gondola ride is the to go down in city and Buddha temple

First time went to First World. Totally advance with self check in and self check out machine. No need to queue at the counter. Even for standard room, its quite big too.

Hotel first world lots of things not functioning properly.

The place for everyone. For those who like gambling there's casino. A lot of others activities for those who don't gamble.

Location is good. Staff wise, they need to improve on their customer service. A few at the counter were rude, even chatting infront of us guesta and taking their own sweet time to do the check in for us. Staff at Watsons were rude and impatient too.

The worst hotel ... there is nothing here for customers, No Wifi, No warm Water, No bath kit, Everywhere double beds no single bed, No Manpower at all only u will see the number of rooms here. Very disappointing place.

Well first no wifi in the room other than that there is nothing much to complain about rooms were clean ,clean towels , hot and cold water ,just outside our room and a nice view out of the window
(IMPORTANT you have to ask them to give you a room with a view and close to the water fountain for the best stay,)the breakfast was OK had a few Indian varieties

Very basic hotel room. No shoes provided. No dustbin plastic provided. Tv is small. Only one plug point. Room condition is a bit too old. Heard that they renovated the room but ours (Tower 2 level 22) still the old type. Bad check in experience, took almost 2 hrs. Booked and paid online but cannot proceed check in using IC as we were told that member was suspended (too long never visit). Have to go another counter outside casino to reactivate member. Way to casino is not clear.

Can't understand, Tower 2 Deluxe room and more expensive than Tower 1 Standard room and yet it wasn't better.

Excellent room, entertainment and wonderful foods. How I which could stay for few more days ? Will come again during this CNY . Thank you Team Genting !!!

Simply too crowded. The infrastructure (lifts, self service kiosks etc) can hardly support the human flow. So expect some waiting time.
