First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Largest hotel in Malaysia with so many shops, events and attractions. Genting as an area very nice for experiencing weather (Clouds touching you even around your room) but I personally feel nice in natural environment. I personally felt that "First World Hotel" was more artificial place. Even there was no water service inside room. Casino was also full of smoke around due to smokers. I think visiting once there is enough for me.

It was an amazing experience for me to stay in this hotel, so sad i cant get the good view for my room. And its cold here, you don't need AC anymore.

Stay 3 nites, room quite well kept... Thks to housekeeping team.......No problem with food..... lots of variety.....
Casino staff needs training.. Impolite, can tell customers don't know how to count the winnings,ask to change to bigger currency chips can say don't know how to count....(I thought simple arithmetic is their job)....omg

Room was good, nice location. Only issues with 1) Liquid soap dispensers at wash basin and bathroom do not function well. Poor dispensing of soap. 2) Bathroom water drain slot seemed to be blocked. Bath water does not go down quickly, and flood the bath floor basin!! Please upkeep well!!

I have a chance to stay in First World Hotel Gentting Malasya some time back. Our stay with this hotel was very fantastic. This hotel has more than 7000 rooms. One big recreation Park for recreation for children as well as for adults. They have a big area where they are showing the world's strange things happened and they have given it name as "Believe It or not". They have a big dining hall. Most neat and clean. Best customer service and big car parking. They are having 32 booking and currency exchange counter.

Simple room.. Just hopefully the hotel management can improve into the cleanliness..

We love staying at the new wing. Small rooms but clean and new.

One of the largest hotels in the world, great prices though! A little issue in the reception considering the magnitude of the hotel is something to be worked on! Well connected to the malls and other properties

Well, as compared to a few years ago, defitekg they did some upgrade work but to be honest they need to work on the car park, it looks really old and not pleasent.

8919 tower 2 room very small no air con; weather is little cold (july) cant sleep all night because near room is noise no wifi ,no water,no soap &dryer when asked for adapter. Just pay us$ 4.

This hotel has very many or even the most rooms in the world, the check in process was fast because we can use the self check in machine (There was a lot of this machine in lobby), also for the check out process we just use this self check-out machine. The room was quite small but they have a very nice shower. The cleanliness of hotel area and room was good.

Still old type, no free wifi at the room..wifi is very important for us too promote your hotel, to promote how was your genting..

Don't Stay at tower 1 and tower 2 , its very ugly room , dirty room and the room its very small

Self check-in, check-out kiosk available along with approx 32 desks.

Rooms are quite small in size but comfortable. Best part of hotel is, you can accomodate over here on hourly basis too. (I.e. 3/6/12hrs)

You must have Breakfast over here.

Be ready for walking. You need to walk a lot. Since aaprox 2-3 shopping malls, 1 indore theme park, 2-3 theatres, 2 cable car stations are inside the same dome.

Services was better than expected. Restaurant, entertainment, casino and many more are pretty accessible from the hotel as well. Overall experience : above average

I have chosen non-smoking area but the room given is smoking area.

Good location and near to many food places. No wifi available in rooms (besides tower 3). Lobby tends to be a bit smoky

Nice hotel but the rooms are a little small compare to other hotels in the same area. Cheap and there are many rooms so you can easily find a room most of the time. They use kiosk check in currently so it would be much convenient.

Parking at first world hotel. Below zone much more space. Look at the signage for hotel lobby for lifts.

The toilet after flushing, it was water leaking from toilet tank, so the whole night sleeping heard of water dripping sound, so irritating and disturbing!
The basin is not functioning at all, water could not drain off, leaving us difficulties on washing hand and face and brushing teeth had to wait for wait took 10mins to drain off then can continue d. At the end we had no choice but to do it in the shower room. That's unbelievable if daily housekeeping did the clean up, how did they clean and check it without knowing all those problems and yet can be open for guests use?

Rooms improved a little but can be better. Lightings curtains furnishings need to be improved.

The hotel consist of 3 tower blocks, and the walking distance from receiption to room is about 80m away (tower 3). the facility of the room is very much simple and size is just nice of a king bed, not much walking space. Only tower 3 has the wifi access, if you need a "free" wifi and you need to pay at least RM50. overall is a nice place to visit.

So crowded ....long walks to tge eating places and a long time to get checked in
