First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Check in process was quite chaotic. And i had no expection of room quality but when i did get to my room 4924, room was pretty stuffy and the window facing inwards was very dark

Lots of under construction in March 2017 and new cable car.

Hotel facilities are good, however the theme is under renovation, therefore abit boring if u dun gamble

Many nearby restaurants to choose from. A walk away from the casino.

Sadly it is charging people rm5 for early check in (normal check in hours is at 3pm), rm5 for coffee and tea pack, rm5 for extra toiletries such as soap, shampoo etc.. Complimentary liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner 3-in-1. Room is great, don't expect great view though.

This is the coldest I have experienced of all my visit to Genting.

The room is too small and the room areas are very noisy.
The problem with the mobile phone had no Internet connection and some more phones lines are working very badly

Being renovated, shall be back when finishes. Many great food stall here, but abit expensive. The largest hotel in the world (guiness) and casino is a thing. And when the theme park is finish renovating, it will be awesome.

The room was small, which was expected but u never expect the beds are infested with bugs. Got bitten all over. See photo as proof. Disgusting bed buds !!! Please avoid this hotel at all cost.

Tower 3 is newer and better than Tower 1. Appreciate that the room floor is parquet (timber) instead of carpet which can be quite dirty

Value for money but self check in & out. Buy your own snacks & toiletries if rooms are rewarded foc. Lots of people walking about. Most of the time is full house. Large lobby looking akin to a train station.

They need to change the name of the hotel first world hotel to first world hotel no wifi , first time I see the hotel have no wifi in this world . Anywhere in the world the hotel won't charge for the wifi and also the Carpark. Service not very good she throw her temple at me banging the table , servicing don't know to react to the situation. When I say in the world only this hotel charge for the wifi , the manager just simply reply 'yes'. If have -5 star I will review it as -5 star not even 1 star

Feel comfortable except that during our check in, the machine cannot dispense the key. We have to get the key from your counter.

It was a pleasant stay in this hotel. New tower has free WI-FI. Unfortunately there was no double bed can be choose when I checked in using automated machine. It was a shame.

Hotel is really big and nice.

However the place is mainly for you to rest. If you are getting the standard room, do not expect much! Remember to bring your own toiletries.

Check out was smooth, you can self checkout and just put your card in the machine and you are done.

This hotel is overall ok, the only downside is the hotel rooms, very cramped, the bathroom in my hotel room has no door, a disappointment, really. Aside from the hotel room, everything else is amazing.

Placed in a smoking room, so please check with the staff before confirming your room if you don't want that. Room service is available, options being from a store called Motorino, which offers pizza, chicken wings and the like. Costs an extra RM2 for the room delivery. Cleaning staff very lovely, returned to the room with stuffed toys tucked into bed. Extra points for spontaneity! There is a Starbucks on the 1st floor, and a buffet place on the 8th floor. Starbucks crowd doesn't seem to be too big, but the tables outside often are taken up by tour group members. Buffet place is great and has a decent variety of choices, all very delicious. I'd recommend to drop by for a late breakfast or lunch! Not much else to look for on the 1st floor unless you take an escalator past the Starbucks to the shopping area. There isn't much for now as the place is still relatively new and many stores have not yet opened. Take a walk around and explore, many dining options are available in that area.

Cheapest accomodation available at genting, but rooms are old and service not as good.

If you re looking for a place to crash for the night, this place is for you. If not, please look elsewhere. The hotel does not have a fridge and doesn t provide the basic amenities or service.

On my first night, the toilet light blew out. Tried calling for service - no one picked up. On my second night, 1 of the room lights blew out. Would probably be living in darkness if I stayed for another night.

Also, I requested for a high floor and they gave me the 5th floor.

Apart from location, there's really nothing else to like about this hotel. Genting's idea of a budget hotel never fails to disappoint on value and service

World class resorts! Have a good theme parks and two small cineplex and a lot of food shops here and also few shops selling clothing and souvenirs.

Reasonable price. Very convenient to check in and out.

Full of entertainment 24H.... cz hotel also located together. Its very convenient for tourists.

If you looking for a budget hotel in Genting, then this is the hotel for you. Average prices, the room has been improved after the renovation. Mind you some part of the hotel still not renovate yet so my suggestion is choose tower 3 because they are newly built.

I always chose this hotel.because of its.easy mode of getting transport by
buses or taxis. It's also very near to eateries and shopping.

We paid so much,no hair dyer,no drinks,makw so much money n we contribute so much treat us like gambler,we are visitors n we are thete almost few times a yr.if not a.good concert i wont go,i prefer to go spore..This place treat ppl nobody pls review la fad yp

Parking is expensive. Otherwise, satisfied with everything else. Not excellent but boleh tahan lah.

I do some task here, with crowded people for enjoying vacation perharp.

Tower 3 was newly and readily open before I embark genting. Room are all clean and easily accessible to all guest.

Good place to set up base for a short vacation. Rooms are small though.

Always my choice of hotel when i head to Genting highlands. Clean & comfy rooms, great pricing with discounts for members.

My last stay in the World Club Room in Tower 1 was absolutely wonderful. Amenities were more than sufficient and adequate, and the room was well appointed and clean.

Service good, place clean. But have to inform customers early not included give toothbrush, ........If not night day shop already close we can't buy it. Tq for your cooperation.

Nice experience. Quite surprised with the self check-in and check-out experience, fast & easy. No queing needed.

Affordable for a stay in Genting, especially if you can find a good deal in an OTA site. However need to book 2-3 month earlier.

Looks old from outside, but the room is okay.

I don't face any problem while staying, so overall seems good.
