The hotel room small, suitable for couple quick stay. And if you're staying with family, you might wanna get 2 room with interconnecting door (cost more RM5) or you want a outdoor view room (cost more RM5 aslo). Budget hotel, in the lobby there's many restaurants and the plaza is full of shopping spot.

My little Girl accidentally pour her 'milo' on bed and its was almost 12am. The customer service is friendly and the room service boys is helpful. They come to change around 20min.
It makes you feel like the main objective is to get as many customers as possible at the expense of comfort and room size. Room was dirty and the hotel poorly maintained. But not much choice for most of us add this is the cheapest among the other hotels.
Really big hotel, fair price, cleanliness need to be improve especially the carpet. But still satisfied with the view even though you need to pay rm5 for the view. I would stay here again.
Beautiful hotel, as the name itself says world's largest hotel.. A place definitely not to miss.. if you are going to Genting highlands, you must stay at first world hotel.
A wonderfull place i think.. arsitektur is very nice.. i love it .. there are kasino, foodcourt, snow world, and many kind of playground for child.. and the room of this hotel is very elegant, comfortable and kindy of staff.. so excited to be here next vacation..
I don't normally write reviews but I had to after my experience at the third world hotel as it should be called because you will only get the opposite of what any upscale hotel will offer you.
First impressions trying to check in was chaotic. There is a self check kiosk that does not work in tandem with the tickets we bought from their website. We finally checked in at the reception desk and headed to our room after an exhasting start. We were greeted with a bed with dark stains on the blankets and pillows and some sort of chemical still wet on the carpet floor. We asked a cleaning worker outside if they could clean the mess and change the blankets but they told us to go to reception to lodge the complaint. Are you kidding me? It's the hotels job to make sure the room is clean before accepting new guests into the room and the staff doesn't care since they aren't the one who has to live there for a period of time.
Food is overpriced and the quality unacceptable for the price they are charging! Everything except the casino is closed after 10pm which means you are forced to gamble or go to sleep in the sad excuse of a hotel which is only slightly better than a prison.
When you start playing at the casino, expect to leave without any of the money you invested unless you somehow hit the jackpot because they will not allow you to take any money out while at tables or slots without 15 minutes of questioning and your passport on hand and ready.
Finally ready to rest in your room? Toilet is in a cubicle where you can't sit down without your legs touching the walls, that is if you want to sit because the toilet seat is dirty too so i suggest you squat. Shower is the same size and the faucet is weak so you are better off taking a shower in the rain.
Staff will stand around chatting with each other or on their phone when you try to talk to them. When they do finally acknowledge you is when you will encounter a lot of attitude, eye rolling and back and forths due to the staff trying to pass problems onto each other. Do yourself a favour and sleep in the hotel lobby because at least then you will still have your money with the same if not better comfort.
Room is ok, no AC, but it have fresh air from the mountain. Self check in is easy. Hot and cold water is free to get. Downside is since it's very large resort, rooms is far from the lifts, but you'll do a lot of walking. Good for your health.
(22.02.2020) Been awhile I didn't come here. It seem they did a good job. The room is well maintain and cleanness definitely has been level up. Maybe due to Cov-19 but it's really clean. The weather at genting is killing me. From chill to freezing. But less worry. I willing to die from freezing haha. Overall comeback experience after couple of years. First World hotel has gain some confident from me. Thanks for all the hard work maintain this awesome hotel. I will come back.
This hotel is ENORMOUS! Overall its an amazing hotel for the price offered. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quite spacious. But the best thing about this hotel is its efficiency! From check-in to check-out, everything was COMPLETELY SMOOTH! The system there is all automatised(if thats a word).
There are tens of machines there for check-in at the lobby and for check-outs there are machines along the lobby nearby the elevators of each tower. Check-in takes about 5-10 minutes, you could either check-in through online third parties like expedia and such or you can walk-in. In the machine, there are options for high floors, non-smoking rooms, early check-in and many more. Although some require extra payment around RM5 only each request.
Check-outs takes LESS THAN A MINUTE!
Its insane! Overall, i really enjoyed my stay here. It was truly eye opening hehe
smallest room and largest hotel by number of rooms Its like getting into another world. Lobby looks old fashioned. Good ambiance. Awesome shopping mall. Provides cable car ride pass for 2-way
If I remember correctly I have to wait for 3hr. Rooms are quite small, the bathroom and toilet bowl are seperated... Well not too bad. The directions are misleading or very confused. Need to reroute those sign.. Maybe purposely shop other stalls so you don't reach your destination??
The biggest hotel. The room rate is quite cheap, no aircon as the air is cold enough. Decent hotel, but maybe due to being the largest, some details were left out. The TV in my room doesn't work, and in the end of my stay, a corridor is being flooded. Still good value tho.
The room was nice and clean, the checking also fast but I was very disappointed the last time when I came with my friends. The reservations upgraded me to Hotel Gand cantral ( I should be happy) but the issie is that the hotel is far away from sky casino and I was seperated from my friend. The management should have ask whether I accepted those arrangements or not.. They just semd a message that's all. ( I was busy.. Did not really look at it) ,by the time I reached the Genting counter it's was too late :( . I hope in future that the management should call and ask the guest whether they accept the upgrade or not.. Thanks and regards
In budget a good hotel with a good view. Although their cheapest room was a bit small but you can choose the room of your choice just my 5 RM top up for things like mountain view etc. Check-in is at 3 but there would be a lot of people at the automated machine so try to be a bit early around 2.15 to 2.30.
The hotel most people will stay however is very in need of a makeover as it looks very old in general. However with the limited hotels in genting especially during festive season, it is one of the most cost effective places to stay.
First Worl Hotel is part of Genting Highland First World Plaza, still on the way renovation. In door and outdoor park cannot be play yet right now. All still under construction. But for indoor Park is almost dont. May be just a few more weeks or months you can go and play there because they now on the testing level i think. Right now, If you want to get a rilexing cooling holiday on your rest day, so this is the right place for you.
