First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Too much difficult for check in because of very very long queue.

I'm here for 14 years..I'm a employee what should I say more about genting, I love working here..great place to run away from busy city life.

Improved service and convenience during check in since the last time I went there..

The whole experiences here regarding the hotel is average. Gotta give it a try at "Burger & Lobster", recommending this awesome restaurant as it's definitely something unique, opens at 9AM. Things to note if you're considering this hotel, such as: #1 The whole hotel including the malls are all air-conditioned and smoking zones. Only some restaurants are non-smoking zone. #2 You may have to bring your own necessities such as tooth brush, shampoos for the rooms (Probably because I've stayed only 1 night). #3 Most of the food here are non-halal but there's reasonable number of Halal restaurants and food as well. #4 Check in time: 3PM, check out time: 11AM If you're interested, you could go to casino to give your luck a try. Just don't overdo it. :) Or you could go shopping be it the mall or taking the cable car down to the premium outlets. And 1 of the pros here is the sceneries, where you get to see all the clouds and high altitude views.

I found 2 small cockroaches in the room. Bad experience.

Service is excellent with good food and the staff are welcoming

Pretentious with how they boast that they are the world's largest hotel but ironically they have the world's smallest rooms. And if you don't get a room on a non smoking floor prepare to have your lungs ripped out. The bathrooms in the rooms don't have a lock on them and the sinks in my room wouldn't drain the water. Overall terrible time staying there.

Room clean, but somehow non- smoking room was the best.

Good ambience, lots of good food, exciting events and plenty to shop for.

Alot of construction makes it a real diappointment.

Very large hotel. So many rooms but not so large. Interesting place

We went to the resort. It is still under construction but still plenty to do. We took the gondola ride up. If you are in KL check this place out especially if you have kids.

Check in kiosk is quick and easy, the room is clean and tidy, housekeeping staffs are polite and friendly. Overall a very satisfy stay.

The hotwl itself is so big... But the view from your room is so amazing ... Its breath taking... Plus 7000 rooms... Imaigne handlinf that. . you might take half an hour to chek in, but thats worth it

Mostly booked with about 6000room in this hotel, in genting highland about an hour and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur

Due to surge of covid-19 cases, to be closed for a week with effective from 13 OCT 2020.

Overall is good, but too narrow in bathroom and rest room.

Floor dirty, room look very old and only one mug in the room

A lot to explore after renovate the whole place. I prefer this new place than before renovate

1. Bath room light was spoilt.
2. Dirty towel found in bath room.
3 toilet drainage smell.

The new Y5 wing is amazing. The rooms were small but cosy, clean and adequate. Needs more lifts, definitely needs more lifts.

Rooms are dimly lit and smells musty. Housekeeping is mediocre at best Poor ventilation and small toilets.

Everything was awesome except the bed . Which is clean , just too soft for my old back

I just can say like my 2nd home. every month I went up for the past 3 years for relexs

It's a very good place with a lot of discounts and a lot of fun

Really it is just a budget hotel. If you are not a smoker than you will hate this place. You can smoke anywhere and staff don't give a damn.

Most affordable place to stay in Genting, also very accessible

Everything is good beside the cleanest of the toilet s floor.. hv a bit sticky

Sink pours out brown murky water when turned to hot water setting. disgusting

Members are given complimentary room every month. Prefer tower 2 or 3 as the rooms are bigger and new.

Still the same small room but nice redesign of the area.

Toilet too big. Room small walk too from hotel. Lift not fuction well.can close properly.

Go for Y5 hotel room type as it's much newer compared to other choices room type...

Biggest hotel in Malaysia with smaller room. Check in by machine at hotel lobby.

Bedsheets feel not so clean. No mineral water supply.

Good response when call room service hotline. Comfortable bedroom. Convenient store near to hotel lobby.

Not much TV shows.

I will visit again , hopefully will have better experiences in future.

Our favorite hotel in Genting. It is cost effective, cosy and has practical facilities. Clean and spacious. We always come back here to stay when we come to Genting. Much has changed during our visit this time. Now it has self check-in machine, hence less crowded lobby. The thick rainforest theme at the hotel is still there to stay. It brings back fond memories of our stays in this hotel, as well as Genting Highlands.

The only drawback is internet connection is poor to - none. If you can't stand a minute without internet, stay at Tower 2.

awesomeness is small word.. but do wait for theme parks to reopen

Rooms are due for make over but still stayable. In-room facilities are almost non existent and we had to buy our own daily products.
