First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Reserved room 19801 from 2pm but only managed to checked in at 5pm. Expected 3pm check in

Worlds biggest hotel (largest room) with more than 7000 rooms, but the hotel room doesnt have air conditioner, only 9 tv channels, no room service, no concierge. The plus points : neat room, hot water, near the mall/entertainment & casino.

All the rides not workibg yet...Also bit pricy as flat rate for kids and adults ride...cant see any benefie of purches of preview pass as only 4 rides working for adults and there long queue on weekend..

I stayed at tower 3 for 4 nights with my family. Despite it being the newer building, the rooms doesn't seemed new. The blankets and pillow cases were stained with stains. I do hope they can work on the cleanliness.

When my relative checked in on the second day in three other rooms, one of the rooms were not packed with the necessities like toilet rolls. I had to take it from the housekeepers.

Nonetheless, the housekeepers were very friendly and polite. My family and I still had a good stay.

Dirty bedsheet - request change but did not. Noisy. Room cards not activated after check-in.

Huge hotel...tower three is best...ask for a mountain view room

Overall experience was okay, few things need to be improved:
- Toilet door is noisy to close, good to replace with sliding door.
- Toiletries set like should be included in the room or at least mentioned inside Genting app while booking.
- Should provide parking fee waiver/discount for travellers who stay at Genting hotel.
- Lacking of light source inside the room, too few light bulbs.

No WiFi, expensive rates, confusing and poor design of car park layout, broken toilet flush that keeps leaking water, nowhere to hang clothes and towel inside the shower room... And found a cockroach crawling from the toilet... Sigh

I wonder why so many bothered to flock here

Nothing much to expect since this is a very budget hotel.

This hotel has the MOST rooms in the world. It's properly Guinness World Record-certified for that. Obviously , you should expect for the rooms here to be smaller than most hotels. That being said, this hotel is the cheapest hotel in Genting Highlands, so it's great if you're on a budget or you don't really care if a place is super posh or not. Since there are a lot of rooms here, expect a huge crowd.Even on weekdays, tourists comes here by the busloads. They have a Starbucks at the lobby which runs 24 hours.

1.Self Checking system slower than last year.
2.Room service hygiene good.
3.Room cupboard was remove left 4 hangers at Deluxe Room that cause have to place our clothing on the bed while sorting n changing.

For room Was very worst condition. Found a bunch of long hair at bathroom. Even worst was that the towel also have long hair. Have to improve more at cleanliness of the room.
For location was very convenient as it can connect to entertainment, food and shopping easily. 24 hours food, kiosk and convienient store can easily found at lobby floor.

As usual the stay was a pleasant one except the leaking kettle need to be replaced, thanks.

Tower 3 stayed level 6, 20mins wait for the lift still can't manage to go down to the lobby. Bad experienced ever. The air was not fresh,the room was warm.

although now is RMCO but the cleaner will clean the room everyday.
Compare to some 4 or 5 star, I never facing bed bug bite problem.
The bed sheet is change everyday, sanitize the room everyday, and the cleaner is very helpful, although the room is simple and cheap but it is very nice to stay without worry of bed bug bite.
For some 4 or 5 star hotel, they not regularly change the bed sheet and Bed cover and recycle use, and I have to seek doctor after stay. This is the most I hate.

The most happening place in Genting with good food, plenty of entertainment and shopping

No frills place to stay. Remember to bring your own toothbrush as not provided. The self check in kiosk makes check-in more efficient

The room is clean and tidy. The staff are polite and helpful.

Chill chill place for family ..kids.. and gamble people.. cold and relax

Room was extremely small as completely different from the picture shown on their website. Room was covered with dust. Window and headboards were full of dirt. And their charging a premium for this ridiculous small room. Not worth staying.

I love this place missed now i want to come twice :-(

World Largest Hotel but have to improve the cleaness

World famous Guinness record place with highest number of rooms in one place with economic budgets. This hotel is within the access of bus station, mall, cinema center, casino, recreation center and many more. To reach here you can go by road or take cable car.

Slow service from the staff for check in. Should offer room warmer equipment.

No coffee in standard room even pay money to booking

It's a hotel, really huge, but only few directions sign at the car park

My room is better than most others deluxe room. Good view of the mountain. But the Wi-Fi internet is slow and sometimes cannot connect. Casino is very modernised as it is just renovated. Casino games are difficult to win.

would give 2 n half stars if have. firstly, what is priority lane if the normal lane check in at hotels, the counters is more than the Gold/Plantinum. There are times only 1 counter at the priority lane and standing in line for more than 30mins. Housekeeping is inconsistent as not fully clean as dust on the bed top panel as well not fully vacuum on the carpet.

The best & luxury hotel in Genting Highland, Malaysia. The morning view is the best view you can see that from room window. They have decorated very nicely in lobby area. The most digitalised hotel in Genting. Reasonable room rent. I like this hotel so much & will must visit again.

Not so cold. Around 17degrees when we arrived and raining. Lucky to get a parking near the lift to the lobby. Had to use the loo but I tell you...... Errrk.. Soooooo smelly.
Proceed to lobby. Everything was new to us. Can't remember when was the last time we were there.. So canggih. Assisted by the staff to check ourselves at the check in kiosk machine. Took us less than 3 mins. We had to pay additional rm5 for the mountain view(can't see anything tho ) and rm5 for early check in.. OK laaa.. Check out time 3 seconds..wowed again.. Slot in the room card.. That's all..
Rm12 per day normal days additional rm2 per hour after that and for Public holidays and all those weekends rm18 additional Rm3 per hour after that. 12801 was our room. Strange looking room...but comfortable. Kettle, mugs, tea coffee selections n 3 in 1 shampoo shower Contioner In the shower . 8th floor for breakfast. Good excersice for us since we were from tower 2.bakery corner not so good. Very hard Danish. Rm30 adult rm15 normal days. Weekend n Pu lic holidays rm35 adult rm17 children. Very spacious place. Indoors park. About 4 or 5 games out of order.. Arcade not so interesting.packages on few sets of entertainment. To use tags and cards only. foods and drinks are expensive. Ballroom was gigantic.. Watson, food massage, restaurants, bakery and a small mart. You can get your water and Maggie cups there... Plenty of shopping places. So don't worry if you suddenly forgotten to bring your shoes, heels, socks, handbag.. Maybe a chocolates for your date etc.. Kiosk to purchase express bus.. Dont know how it works tho.. Can't fill all the details needed..

avoiding standard rooms because window blocks by another room windows, no privacy my room linked with another room via internal door (hearing others). Cleaning needs to improve.

Better than before. 5th star depends on the upcoming outdoor theme park

Lots of upgrading works now. Rooms are clean and nice but very small. Good though for the price you're paying

The room service is excellent but the biggest drawback is the wifi. There is only wifi service in the lobby but it must be purchased. The wifi connection is quite bad.

Rooms cramped and beds hard as a rock. If I hadn't been put up there by a client on a budget, it would not be my first choice.

Hotel gives free stays also to denting rewards members. If not then also very reasonable (starting RM 100) to stay. All the casinos inside the hotel building only. Very beautiful place to visit. Must go place. See beautiful video of lights show in Genting #genting #lightShowInGenting

Stayed at the new tower 3 hotel located at B1. Check in was within half an hour. Consider quite fast as compared with last time. Services was good. But the cable car was a total bad experience. At the genting station boarding area, out of a suddenly all the staff going to somewhere as a group left with 1 staff to overlook the whole bunch of queueing guest. The only staff left at the cable car area was shouting across the other side to communicate with the group of staff leaving the station, neglected the boarding guest. What if accident were to happen during any boarding of the guest? The staff took too lightly of the responsible that they are holding. I was still trying to be nice and asked if we were able to board the cable car, the staff just answer "board lah", whom was so rude to me.
