First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Tower 2 is a little run down but overall was a decent hotel.

I don't recommend this hotel .. not clean and very small rooms and service is very bad

Easy check in, easy parking, toilets were so clean and convenient, feel free to move from place to place..

The room is okay. But when go walk around the theme park, shopping mall and others place.. Don't have prepare a room for mother breastfeed, I have to cover myself with jacket and sit outside the toilet feed my baby. This I felt so bad.

Crowded during super peak season. Especially the Christmas tree rise every hour once

Location is good. Ventilation at lobby area is terrible. Vehicle drop off point outside the hotel lobby is completely sheltered causing exhaust fumes to fill the lobby area. I felt breathless while waiting for my coach at the lobby area. Wi-Fi do not come standard and need to pay.

Got the room for free as I'm the member. Minimum amenities, and a good rest after a long day.

The floor of my room a bit sticky.. The toilet and room floor same height so water got into the room floor.. Overall this hotel manage to amaze me.. The y room is the new wing..

Most convenient hotel, nearest to the theme park and shopping mall. Provide hot and cold water dispenser at outside of hotel room...room very small and hygiene level need to be improved.

New tower 3 available, need to book the room earlier and get cheaper price on the weekday. Need to remember, guest need to pay the parking before u can leave the hotel.

My all time favorite holiday place, cold weather here, a lot restaurant in Korean, Japanese, Western, Malaysian, Indian, Chinese style and many more. You can shopping in Sky Avenue and First World Plaza.
Thier big business is Casino and many more indoor outdoor entertainment..

Hair dryer and the usb power charging ports are not working. The respond for help was not satisfactory

The physical hotel and facilities are good but toilet cleanliness is very bad even though the renovation is good. The customer service is not up to standard.

One of the best place in Malaysia. Nice climate and great location. Do try the cable car.

It's okay for me as because there is a lot of things need to be improve. Yup, I do understand the concept is cater to the gamblers but have to remember now is about new looks and new generation if they want to attract more attention with the one and only First hotel in Genting. For example, if we put Room Cleaning meaning that clean everything but the coffee cups never cleaned, no mineral water provided, bathroom items only provide soap and shower cap, no laundry plastic too. Worst case is our door sign Do Not Disturb been removed until the hotel cleaner rang the doorbell asking permission to clean our room. Haiz..... Kids wasn't ready to go out that time by the way. Another thing that I am hate the most is that, clearly mentioned Tower 2 is Non Smoking Area but I saw a men smoking next to his room or probably next to other people's room, and I literally said it out loud there floor with every room door sign with No Smoking Area as that person does not bother at all. Please.... Do Something as there was hotel staff in that floor seems careless too. Update from Tower 2, floor 15. Thank you! Theme Park Hotel does better than the original hotel... Upgrade please.... No more old fashion thinking

theme park is sadly still under renovation, but there is slot more food and shopping compared to 5years ago. like the weather, cool but not too cold

The non-smoking room is very clean n tidy which i really like. Will come again wit my family even without the free stay....

Very late check in. Long queues. Not so friendly staffs. The hotel is very good.

Dispite all the comfort provided with my 2 nites stay over Room 6636,Tower 1. Probably I needed to highlight that there were no soap/but washing liquids. Tooth brushes and paste were not provided for a std room like that.
Ya, one last thing before I forget was my dressing area light was not lit at all the very moment I checked in! This apparently had been overlooked by the house keeper.

Amazing hotel that's connected to the main entertainment centre. Only is that it's too big and have to walk far to get to your room. You'll have to pay extra if you want a room close to the lift

Although this is not a 5 or 6 star hotel but i m for sure the house keeping team is the best their attitude and friendly makes me feel very comfortable at least they are willing to help... Much better then Maxims Hotel Genting house keeping team ....not that friendly and especially if you are a smooker please don't go for Maxims hotel although there's an air purifying in the room but it's makes no different .

Reasonable stay for the price. Convenient and plenty of rooms available. Water pressure is good, basic amenities were there. However, Cleanliness is a worry for me, there were still hair of previous guests on the pillows, the sink smells. We also glimpsed the housekeeping were using the vacuum cleaner that they use on the floors, to vacuum the bed. Turn off for me.

Very small hotel size. Not recommended for family. Tips: go during low peak season for way much cheaper price and choose Tower 3 for room with wifi

Great get away during holidays and weekends to relax and have fun.

Room are Very clean. Hot shower, clean towel, hair dryer all includede. Fully recomended. Efficient and good service staffs too.

My 2nd visit after a few years. It's a little dusty. I smell smoke at corridor of hotel room when we arrived.

We booked 3 rooms from 19 to 21 april. We were staying at level 24. On 20 April, there are loud renovation noise from the top of our rooms starting from 8pm. We cannot stand the noise and called customer service at 11pm. We were told there is no renovation work and they will look into it. The loud banging here and there did not stop till 3am. <br/>The hotel allowed their customers to book the room but don't allowed them to sleep at night? 3am in the morning. How can a hotel allowed renovation work in the midnight? Is really unacceptable.<br/>We are all so tired after this genting trip.

Good place.. Shld try Train To Busan Horror House.. Worth the effort..

Had a horrible experience checking in. Had to wait at the lobby with my infant
baby for nearly 3 hrs as my room was not ready. The staff at the reception counter were all pretty arrogant and not willing to help.
I stayed at the Y5 deluxe room. Room was very very small, though the bathroom was of decent size. Room and the lobby was filled with cigarette smell.
Staff did not entertain our request for a 2 hour late check out, despite the fact that I could check only 3 hours late, all due to their inefficiency.The hotel lobby is always so much crowded and you might just feel like you are at a market place rather than a 3 star hotel. I wouldnt prefer to stay here again.

One of the good old place(highland) to go. Easy to go with public transports. May experience cloud sea sometimes if good luck(with weather) and wake up early. :) Love the cool weather and environment.

Minus 1 star - most of the food/drink not delicious compared to those on the "low land". However, given the food/ingredients have to be delivered to hill top, I don't have much comment for the price. And utilities in room are not so satisfying such as broken jug, water tap that isn't functioning so well, some room units' bathroom/washroom way too small.

Room and bathroom is very clean
I stay at standard room and get upgrade for free to double large ,,,thx a lot.
Check in at midnight , but fast and helpfull

Tips ;
1.No need air conditioner , because it's cold
2. you can see panaroma at window near lift , because my room windows next to other room

Genting Resort is the nearest/ best Hill Resort to all of us in PJ. The room is clean, well facilitied and services are good and friendly

Value for money during off peak season. Room is simple but clean and adequate for most need.

I would prefered the World Club room or Superoir Deluxe. Standard, Deluxe, Y5 or Triple room is too small. Especially the bath room.

I gave 3 stars because the signal of my phone is very low. I can't use my internet properly and it doesn't have wifi on our floor..

New sky avenue had more food option and shopping now.
