Everything went smoothly except we did not get a chance to select the mortgage payment date to coincide with our existing mortgage. We were told it would be taken care of at closing but that did not happen. We wanted the payment to be the 14th or 15th but it was set up for the 1st. They also told us we have a 15-day grace period but you cannot set up an autopay with Firstar Bank unless the payment is received BEFORE the due date. We really liked the ability to upload all requested documents online and that seemed to speed up the process. We would do business with them again - but would definitely push harder to get the payment date that we want even if that means paying some extra interest up front at closing. Firstar Bank will NOT change the due date after closing as that date is specified in the mortgage note.

Nothing but 5 stars for this wonderful mortgage company. I was a first time home buyer and I really appreciated how transparent and honest Brady was with me. Our experience with First Class Mortgage (FCM) was absolutely wonderful. After a year of house searching, my boyfriend and I fell in love with a house, and as first time home buyers, we had no idea what the steps were for purchasing a house. On a Wednesday we established a Realtor, she recommended FCM, and by Friday we were pre-approved for a 30-year fixed rate loan. The housing market in our area moves fast, so we needed to move fast. We made on offer that Saturday and Sunday morning it was accepted. It seemed like our Realtor and Lender never stopped working, nights or weekends. I could ask questions any time and I was constantly updated throughout the entire process.

As mentioned, our Realtor recommended FCM as she has worked with them several times and she said they have always delivered. It turned out the seller's agent had previously worked with our lender before as well, and our Realtor said that offered peace of mind to the sellers, as well as an advantage of knowing what was a good offer to put in on the house.

What we experienced with our lender was more than I could ask for. After speaking with several lenders through Lending Tree, Brady Day from FCM stood out in his professionalism, his honesty, his willingness to walk me through the process of our loan and what to expect, and he and his team carried us through the closing process. I could have saved myself the nightmare of phone calls and winded conversations I received from competing lenders if I only spoke with FCM, but I had to learn what was out there to be sure we were making the right business decision. I truly believe we did.

The leg work for the loan with FCM was done in the beginning while getting preapproved, which made the last few weeks of closing seem like a breeze. At the closing table, it was smooth sailing and took under an hour. That night, we were sleeping in our new house.

I would like to share something I learned from this process. It is important to not be persuaded by a lender who over promises and under delivers, as doing so could cost you time, money, emotional heartbreak, and the house you are trying to buy. No one wants what seems like a good deal or interest rate that ends up falling apart at the closing table. We had several lenders competing for our business who promised all kinds of things, but after doing our research and comparing loan terms, we truly believe Brady Day at FCM gave us the best loan and interest rate for our situation.

In closing, I would certainly use FCM again, and we highly recommend them.

First review- I was referred to First Class Mortgage by my credit union, West Financial. My contact at West had nothing but great things to say about Brady and his team which I quickly learned why. The speed of which a deal on a home comes together can be very fast and reaction times critical. Brady/Jolene handled my loan and were very thorough from start to finish. I was most impressed with the speed/timeliness of all communication we had, but also with how seamlessly they were worked with my realtor, insurance agent, etc. I easily give the First Class Mortgage team a high recommendation and would refer them to anyone.

I just completed a refinance with Casey and his First Class team. I appreciated Casey's thoughtful and patient advice on what loan made the most sense for me.
