Dr. Joshua Bernard and his nurse, Erica, have been the true essence of what you want to experience when you have a trauma situation. They are both on time all the time, and Dr. Bernard is comforting and explains what is going on and just does everything right. We are totally pleased with this doctor and his nurse!!!! Five stars from us! Plus the valet parking is great!

Dr.Hall a usf ENT... committing Fraud and endangering patients health. Refused to biopsy my esopgheal tumors/ swollen lymphatic tissue which my friend Dr.Gilda Gomez formerly a professor at usfwho is a Hemotoligist/oncologist who now has a 16 bed chemo infusion center in another state says I have Lyphoma hence the swollen lymphatic tissue at base of my tongue..genuises. DR HALL is a disgusting unethical immoral sorry excuse for a human being.. much less a Dr.
Where does usf exactly get their physicians from? Did usf scrape the bottom of a dumpster to find Dr hall? She must work Cheap...I guess.
DR.Hall is an Obnoxious grinning sociopath. I just wonder what her mortality rate is for her patients? Nil to none. I hurt like .
Usf cannot even give a proper Dx.
I have multiple tumors and scans and these inept techs and Drs reading my scans say nothing's wrong ..when I have multiple previous scans with a different DX!!!! Now I have no insurance because I refuse pay for it and then to go to any doctor or hospital (Tgh is a joke) and have them milk my insurance and do absolutely nothing for me!! It is called "FRAUD." And you should all be indicted on Federal charges!!!

Professionalism is lacking:

Professionalism is lacking:

1. The general Doctor did not explain my medical results throughly enough, but instead directed me to YouTube to learn how to read medical chart!
2. I felt like I was on a constant customer help-line call, with all my questions being met with "I don't know"s and endless referrals to someone else.
3. They had me wait an hour & 1/2 past my appointment time to be seen.
4. Communication between departments is poor.

I came here for a general check up and referral for a holter monitor. While I'm not an expert in medical center proceedings, these should have been fairly straight forward concerns. Not to generalize to all staff here, but most I encountered were unhelpful and interacted with me on a shallow level. Overall, the process has been frustrating and I will not return myself nor recommend this medical center to anyone else.

Lets start with I am a transplant patient and have been having gastro issues. So my Doctor at Tampa Likelink referred me to Dr. Saloumn. First visit was good, saw the doctor , made a follow up for June 11,2014 Then problem with script, got that straighten on my end with absolutely no help from the staff there. Finally got the scrip, took the ten days then gave it 10 days to work., didn't work. I called back and left a message that it did not work still in pain and hurts even worse. Thank god, I had some pain medication another doctor gave me . Waited until Thursday still no return call. In the mail that day I received a note card telling me they bump my follow up appt and to call and reschedule . I did and the first available appt is September 24th. At that point I insisted to speak to a nurse in Dr. Saloums staff. The mes sager told me that Leslie said for me to call patient assistance.. I then ask for the directors name, they by passed that and gave me a patient advocate who was very nice, but not very helpful.. Bottom line is you go to a doctor because your sick, if you can't communicate with the doctor or staff they are useless.. Getting another Doctor., one I can actually make an appt to see.

I don't understand these low reviews. I'm about to finish up my treatment with Dr. Welsh - she and the team here have been angels. Hopefully I don't need to come back but if I do have to, I wouldn't choose any other spot.

I took my son for his appointment because he doesn t have a car. I am 72. It is over 91 degrees outside. I told the female checker it was too hot for me to sit outside. She said I could not go inside. 30 minutes later, I barely made it back to my car. Dizzy, perspiring, headache and nauseated. I guess when your website says you want to keep people safe that is selective. I am very overheated and still waiting for him to be finished with his appointment. Thanks USF

Dr. Heidi Stephens IS THE WORST DOCTOR I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. DO NOT SEE HER. SHE PUT IN NO EFFORT AT ALL TO TRY AND HELP ME WITH MY INJURY. She had the worst attitude I've ever experienced with a doctor. Her and the nurse were extremely rude. She didn't try to help me at all. She told me to go back to my old doctor and that there was nothing she could do.THIS LADY HAD NO INTENTIONS ON HELPING ME WITH MY INJURY WHAT SO EVER. I WOULDN'T EVEN CALL HER A "DOCTOR" BECAUSE SHE ACTED LIKE SHE HAD NO IDEAL WHAT SHE WAS DOING. I couldn't believe how bad the experience was that I had there. It was a huge waste of time and money.

I have never written a medical review and would no...

I have never written a medical review and would not have started with this one if I had not just had the worst possible medical service. I am not talking about the doctor or the PA both seemed to be well qualified and I have no complaints. The breakdown to poor patient relations starts and stops with the "office nurse" that one must call to try and reach the doctor or PA when there is a problem. It turns out that I am allergic to the antibiotics I was given when released after septoplasty surgery. i called the office number and the only option was to leave a message for 'the nurse'.Never heard from anyone on this. I went to emergency room where I live which is 60 miles from USF. I have left numerous voice messages for the nurse to call or have the doctor return the call. The nurse just ignores the messages. i need to know what pain medications were used in surgery and the first pain medicine that was sent home to me so my new doctors in Sebring dont't end up giving me again. The severe yeast infection I got from the pain meds is now under control, but I still have a sinus infection since septoplasty. I won't be coming back to this place. They were highly recommended by my chest doctor I will tell him about my experience and Iask him to please find out what pain meds were used so that info can go in my charts.

I am very sad to say that my experience with the M...

I am very sad to say that my experience with the Morsani center was less than satisfactory. I've been dealing with fibromyalgia symptoms for many years and now more recently it's affecting my career and personal well being. I was told to USF had the best doctors so I enlisted for a 3 month wait to finally see a doctor that could treat me. The day of the appointment I was denied a moment with the doctor directly, and was asked a list of questions pertaining my symptoms all of which checked positive for my condition. Still I was merely written a prescription for an MRI and bloodwork, and rushed out. Paid my doctors copay and left. It's been an entire month since the results have been ready and I have not received a single phone call to follow up. Each time I call I get a run around, and the final answer was that I had to schedule and appointment for the end of the year (6 months) if I wanted to know my results. We are now in July, I don't think that's fair. And if that's not all great, I just got a letter in the mail stating the doctor has quit her job and will be leaving in a few months. Today I received a bill for an additional $112.00 and still no one to ask or speak with. I've called the records department to see if they are so kind to send me my records so that I can self diagnose, and they still have the audacity to say that I would need to pay.36 cents per page. I'm sorry but this is sad and depressing to me.

I am pregnant and have had an absolutely horrible ...

I am pregnant and have had an absolutely horrible experience with USF Health with the exception of a few individuals. The practice itself is impersonal, but you expect that going in knowing that it is a group practice with students, midwives, PAs, nurses and doctors taking turns seeing you each time you visit. However, my real issues have arisen since I left.
I moved to Delaware about 3 months ago and started seeing a new doctor here. I called in to the Billing and Records department to get my records faxed over and got no answer or response to my voicemails for about 2 weeks leading up to my first appointment here. My doctor's office here then began calling in to USF to get the records. I am having a c-section in 7 days and still have not had my records sent over or even had anyone return my voicemails. I had to repeat some of the blood work I already had done and would have had to repeat every single one of my tests done at USF if not for MyChart, which I had to access and print all of my records off of at the library and bring to my doctor here because no one at USF answered our calls to have my records sent over. We still aren't sure which vaccinations I received at USF and which I still need before the birth in 7 days. At this point, I will be having the baby and just hoping that I got all the shots I was meant to get.
Furthermore, back in March I had lots of lab work done. These labs were sent out to Quest Diagnostics and NTC. For some reason, USF took my insurance off of my records during this month. I called in as soon as I noticed and had them put the insurance back on, but they never submitted the claims for those labs in March. I asked them to fix it and was told that they would. It is now September and those claims have yet to be submitted. My insurance company can't get anyone to call them back from USF about submitting these claims and Quest has now moved to send a collections agency after me for the $1,500 in lab work I had done that month because they are not getting paid. If USF doesn't answer my insurance company's calls in the next 2 weeks, I will have to pay for all of that blood work that should have been covered. Blood work which I don't actually have access to, because USF also hasn't sent over my records to my doctor. This has been a nightmare and every time I get another phone call about the payments due it sends me into a fit of stress-induced contractions. If anyone on here knows of any legal action I can take, please contact me and let me know. I was their patient and they are not protecting me at all. I am hoping that a bad review might even get their attention enough that someone will finally call me back and take steps to fix these issues with me before the baby comes in a week.

As horrible as is sounds, unless you are on death row or harass the staff so that they know who you are - you fall into the "just another number" category. You are not a person - you are a number. Unless you are an interesting case - you're just overlooked. The wait time for appts is outrageous and the Dr's have the ability to cancel/reschedule just days before.

Also - Each 'Department' has it's own way of doing things and unfortunately, they don't seem to communicate very well with each other.

The doctor, nurses, and staff are all nice and helpful so far. The place is clean and the wait is never long. They have a large waiting area with lots of seats. The parking isn't too bad either. Fairly easy to find a parking spot. Over all a great experience thus far.

Being a patient at USF Health (Primary Care and Cardiology), I mistakenly thought that the same professionalism would extend to the Opthalmology and Eye Institute. 1 star is a compliment that this place just does not deserve.

Not so at all, and if you are on any sort of schedule, give this place a MISS. You will be left waiting for lengthy periods of time in the Examination room, while the staff socialize in the hallways.

As my Medical Aid requires an annual Eye Exam, this is the first and last time that I will ever make an Appointment at this place. Do so at your own peril as it is likely to be a full day experience of the worst kind.

If I could give this facility no stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous!! We were 15 minutes late because of 2 accidents when we live 1.5 hours away. I don t care what kind of service you provide, but after sitting in your lobby for 90 min I decided to approach the desk. She then told me that because I was 2 minutes outside of their late policy I was going to have to wait another 2 hours to be seen. Are you joking??? What kind of business are you that I had to approach you after 90 minutes and then you want to tell me that I m going to wait another 120 minutes! Absolutely awful customer service. Someone should have told me upon check in or when they finally decided to take the insurance card that i was going to wait 3 hours. I can assure you with a 3 hour round trip commute time i wasn t going to bow down to your BS policy! Do what s right! This is ridiculous! Human Resources needs to get involved to get this place running better! No thank you!

I had foot surgery and am generally quite pleased ...

I had foot surgery and am generally quite pleased with the results. However, I received very limited instructions on what to do for my recuperation. Most of it referred to noticing signs of issues with the surgery itself, like infection. However, it is a 6-week recovery, and you are supposed to "keep feet elevated." That is not very specific, and open for interpretation. Foot stool? Recliner? No. I found out from a friend 10 days into my recovery that I was supposed to have my feet elevated above my heart, "nose to toes." Big difference! So I put lots of pillows under my feet for days. I mentioned this on my two-week visit to the doctor and he didn't really comment one way or the other. I suffered terrible pain behind my knees, and he said the pain in my legs must have just been a coincidence. It turned out (I discovered this on YouTube) that I should have also had support under my knees in order to avoid hyper-extension. On my final visit, I told my doctor that I felt the recuperation instructions needed to be more specific. I don't recall him taking written notes, so I don't know where my concern/recommendation went.
I had given excellent marks on the phone survey following the surgery, but the call was only about four days after the surgery, and this problem hadn't manifested itself yet. Four days is way too soon for this survey, or there should be a follow-up after that. Also, still being on pain meds on day four, I would think many people would still be a little foggy.

Sometimes very difficult to get a timely appointment on the general Morsani telephone number. I suggest making a follow-up appointment with the nurse during/after your visit with your physician.
I have been here for years and am pleased with the care I've received overall. This is a teaching facility which enables residents and various medical staff an opportunity to learn from your condition, and your physician's diagnosis and treatment.

Absolutely the worst doctor's office experience I ...

Absolutely the worst doctor's office experience I have ever had in my life. The other reviewers are correct - it is impossible to get in touch with your doctor or nurse at Morsani and the messages you leave with the call center don't make it to anyone most of the time, and when they do the nurse *might* call you back. You have to call constantly and stay on top of them to hear results of anything. And I was given wrong info pertaining to my blood test results by a call center person who was incredibly rude, and when I contacted the office manager about it she never even responded to me! Currently on the second time of waiting more than two weeks for blood test results (which the lab on campus told me would be available in 3-5 days from when the blood was drawn and are available electronically at Morsani as soon as the lab gets them)... They're just awful It's great to go to an academic health center since they're most likely up on the most current treatments, etc. but if the office is this inept it defeats the whole purpose. I have absolutely no confidence that my health is in good hands. As soon as I get my results I am promptly taking them to a different doctor and never returning to this fiasco.

I didn't have to wait at all.
I signed in and my name was called.
I didn't even finish the paperwork.

Dr. Brown took all the time I needed. No churn here. I really appreciate that. I am use to Dr's cutting you off and assuming the rest.
Thank you.

All of the diagnostics are in this building. No need to get referred to another place on another day.
If you think need lab work make sure you fast before you come here because you can get it done in the same day.

Free parking in the garage across the street, and a free valet if u need it.

Best medical experience I have had. Way different from the 'norm'.

As a transplant, I was afraid of finding a new Dr. However, I found Dr. Le and she has been AMAZING! I had come in a few times for things from BC (IUD) worries to routine annuals and she has been lovely with all of it! I've had to use the on-call service and was pleased with the help I received, staff has proven to be attentive, and punctual.. really, nothing bad to say.

The wait is terrible over 3 hours. Turned in an insurance form to Dr Bahleeya on 6/17 said she would contact the insurance co and never did. You call the office and no one picks up at the offcie until you request to speak with the operator and ask to speak to a manager. I have nothing but great things to say about my Internal Medicine Doctor. Dr Clayton is amazing she took on my huge chart and medical conditions. She spends time with me. She listens. Yes she s very busy (but what doctor isn t?) but yet my appointments are always made in a timely fashion and I m seen right away. I have no issues getting through to her nurse or her. On MyChart if I send a message it s answered within 2 hours and a reply sent. I ve had other primary care doctors and she is the best one yet.

Extremely disappointed with this place! I go to the other location to see another doctor and it was always wonderful. I went in to see Dr. Mamel almost 6 days ago at this building. The visit was fine. He was nice enough to check insurance costs without me asking for a medication he wanted to prescribe me. He called it in and I still don t have it. Walgreens has called them saying they need him to approve it. I ve called 3 times now and they ve supposedly marked my message as urgent. Nothing...this was a complete waste of an hour and a half drive and a waste if my money. Do not recommend!! I have a serious issue and he does not seem to care at all. What a joke.
