Fairmont Pacific Rim Review

Always have amazing pastries! Prefer no artificial sweeteners in my drinks though.

Absolute luxury. From the second the hotel doors are opened up for you by the exceptionally helpful staff to checking out it was all perfect. They have very nice BMW cars that will take you anywhere in town for free and the bike rentals directly from the front of the hotel are clean and very well maintained. Text messages to the concierge at any hour was replied to within minutes. The room was beautiful and kept very clean by the cleaning staff. Spa, gym, pool area, and restaurants are all first class. Nice touch to have a flower shop in the lobby as well. There is nothing bad to say about this place! I will be back.

Beautiful and convenient hotel, but you expect a certain degree of service from a five-star hotel when you re on your honeymoon. Maybe we were just spoiled by the Shangri-La Toronto, where we had stayed just before we arrived at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Fortunately, the restaurant staff downstairs made up for it. They are so wonderful and exceptionally better than front desk staff.

A beautiful restaurant. The cocktails are insanely good and every dish that hit our table was delicious. A great ambience thanks to live music. A real gem of an experience.

The Willow Stream Spa is definitely the nicest spa in Vancouver.

Pretty hard for the Pacific Rim to exceed expectations - as we always expect a wonderful experience - but we were upgraded to the Gold Floor - and the experience was over the top!! The team knew what we wanted before we did! They made my husbands birthday very special!! Best gold floor we ever stayed on!!

The rooms are modern and comfortable, packed with the latest equipment. The marble bathroom has a deep bathtub and glass shower, separate toilet, and a TV built into the mirror! It is convenient to watch your favorite movies on a large plasma TV by connecting to your computer. The corner signature room has a nice bathroom with a sea view. I enjoyed the bath while enjoying the view of the sea and mountains. It is absolutely recommended for bath lovers.

It was incredible. The room was terrific...the view of the harbour phenomenal. We enjoyed how modern the hotel was...the tv in the bathroom mirror...the automated drapes...the lighting.

We did not choose to have dinner in the hotel, but did enjoy the lounge and the breakfast area..

We went to the cafe inside, the coffee and cake were delicious and the price was pretty reasonable. It was busy so be prepared for a little wait but I'd visit again.

Staying in a deluxe city room and it is gorgeous! The room is very spacious with its own walk in closet. The bed is one of the most comfortable plush beds I've slept in at a hotel. Bathroom is large with a tub and a standing shower. Service has been great. Room service was courteous and very punctual, said 30 minutes and arrived exactly then.

The food and drinks were exceptional and the atmosphere was serene with live music, being able to actually hear the conversation at the table was great, and of course all the plants added to the atmosphere as well! It made for a very nice evening overall and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special evening out as it is on the pricier side.

Amazing modern property situated in Van's most prime location on the water.
Willow Spa was one of the best I've experienced in North America. Stunning harbour views of the Pacific Ocean from room. I'd recommend the Orfu corner suite (request higher floor).

Beautiful property in an amazing strategic waterfront location. Very attentive staff and top amenities like spa and gym. Within walking distance to just about anywhere you want to go in downtown Vancouver.

Love the live band experience on the weekends. Pleasure to see various artists.

I haven't actually stayed in the hotel, instead, I attended the "Japan Unlayered" exhibition, which was excellent. Very nice live music, Muji popup store, Beams Japan, and an exhibition on Kengo Kuma and his architecture, showcasing his new building in Vancouver.

The overall experience at Fairmont Pacific Rim was fantastic. The service, the atmosphere and even the other customers were all really good. The food was excellent. My wife also had a very good experience. The staff were very professional and focussed on their goal at that time, looking after our needs and making sure we had a good experience there..

I did not stay here , but found this written on the facade of this skyscraper ..."The clouds looked no nearer than when I was lying on the streets". Thought provoking and beautiful.

Good food, nice lounge. I was not a fan of the drink's, for the price they should be fantastic but I they were gross. I tried two different kinds and hated them both. Would not go back for drinks but would go back for appetizers

We flew in from Whistler on a Harbour Air float plane and walked to the hotel form the terminal. We were greeted by a very freindly front desk staff who offered us a very nice room upgrade overlooking the harbour, which we chose to accept.
The room was stunning with modern technology and conveniences throughout... loved the automated blinds and lighting!
We also enjoyed the use of the complimentary BMW bicycles that the hotel provided us to ride around stanley park.

We then returned to have dinner in the hotel lobby and had some of the Best Sushi we have ever had... We also got to See Prime Minister Trudeau also in the lobby bar area. Was quite the surprise to see him there.

Overall, we truly loved the stay at the Pacific Rim hotel and would certainly consider it for our next visit to Vancouver as it has a perfect mix of location and modern amenities that we like to have when exploring new cities.

One of the more luxurious hotels in Vancouver. The Fairmont Pacific Rim is what a hotel in a major metropolitan city should be. An absolute amazing ambiance as soon as you walk in the door. The cocktail bar has delicious drinks and live music. The rooms are clean and upscale. The location is exceptional. Overall a world class hotel

We stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in February and are still talking about our incredible stay. At check-in, we were upgraded to a suite for my boyfriend's birthday. From beginning to end, we were treated like royalty by the professional and friendly staff. Thank you for helping me give my boyfriend an unforgettable birthday.

Probably my most favourite hotel experiences. The location is very easy to get to, a wonderful view outside and some very nice cars outside if you're into that. Service was very welcoming and would recommend anyone to stay here.

We where graciously upgraded to a king suite which was an amazing experience. We overlooked the pool and mountains so couldn't have asked for anything else to wake up to. The service was exceptional and everyone was very helpful! I would recommend it to anyone that needed a hotel in Vancouver!

Did not stay at the Fairmont, however we dined at the Bow tariffs on a Friday night. The atmosphere, food and service was excellent! Loved the music as well as the layout of the restaurant.

The Concierge was extremely helpful; the location of the hotel is right by the water front, and within walking distance to the train station.

We had such a great experience!
Hotel rooms were great , customer service was outstanding and the views were spectacular ( I attached a few pics )
They have this awesome turn down service and provide water bottles for your bedside !
The flower arrangements through out the hotel were wow just wow .
When we asked for a crib for our toddler they brought up the crib , baby toiletries and some diapers for us complimentary once they knew we have a baby !
However I want to give a special shout out to Sarah , the Fairmont Gold lounge manager and her crew . They were outstanding !!
Best customer service I ever got in the Pacific Northwest .
The went out of their way to make us feel welcome , asked about our dietary restrictions and made sure to accommodate them , all the food and snacks were labeled IN DETAILS . Annika was an awesome young lady in the lounge , she served us for breakfast and when she saw my hands were busy with my toddler and could not have breakfast yet , she went out of her way to help me , made me a great cup of coffee & served me pastries to my table !

I stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience. Try to get a view to the sea and/or Stanley park. Gym is great and so is the pool area. Most of all the friendliness and professionalism are really outstanding. Definetely one of the best hotels in the world. Don't forget to take a launch or dinner at the awesome sushi bar Raw in the lobby.

A bit over rated. Special privileges to those that frequent the place often or are current guests. Drinks are okay .. appies are good. Crowd is a bit odd. Lots of over age rich men looking to splurge :)

My favorite hotel in Vancouver. The staff is extremely friendly and Brandi at the front desk is super! I also enjoy the daily live music in the lobby area.

Staying at The Fairmont made exploring Vancouver so much more fun and was a great stepping off point for our adventures into Alaska.

Beautiful rooms, close access to the Vancouver convention center for Siggraph, and amazing view of the waterfront

Great upscale hotel with nice views, restaurants, and an amazing rooftop pool.

See and be seen. Great cocktails, great wine list. Rooms are fantastic. Brunch is epic.

Food was decent. I think i prefer the afternoon tea at the other locations though.
