Fairmont Pacific Rim Review

My wife and I went to the Willowstream Spa last night to celebrate our 11th anniversary. Very good service at this spa, and very well maintained amenities. Received a massage from an experienced RMT, Tina who was very professional and friendly. Even attendant inside men's change area was very kind and helpful. Overall would visit again.

Absolutely, the best hotel for comfort, food and service.

So well cared for. The room was as great and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

I went to Giovani's cafe to work and have coffee. The staff took my order in a timely manner. The staff also cleaned up right after patrons left. The cafe was clean and friendly. The coffee and pastry was also very good. It was a good spot to work and also grab a coffee.

Hotel did not notify me though email or in person of a ridiculous non smoking charge of $525. The hotel claims there was smoking on the patio. The hotel charged me without authorization my authorization and did not send me notification this charge has been made. Hotel manager would not was very unhelpful and rude.

In response to the hotel's response below, The hotel has failed to provide proof of the notification of the policy by email or recorded phone conversation. I did not receive any reservation confirmation. If my email was wrong, the staff should have phoned me. The only photo that was provided was a close up shot of a patio chair arm with a small amount of ashes which could have been wiped clean in seconds. I do not even know if this photo was from my suite. My party did not smoke inside the suite. I find this situation extremely unfair, share my experience, and will be bringing this matter to small claims court

Part of a wedding party of. We got ready at the hotel suite in the morning. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. There's not a lot of light in the suite for makeup though.

Best cocktails In Vancouver and our bartender Todd outstanding service. He truly knows how to make a proper old fashioned. Thank you for the hospitality

Stayed for 3 nights, the service was fantastic. Not only was front desk helpful every employee I ran into was happy and joyfull. I recommend the stay to everyone who is looking for a quality hotel at a great location.

Would like to thank all the staff for such a great job. One last note, the little cafe called giovane has the most delicious sugar buns you will ever taste...MUST TRY!

Stayed here twice in the lounge bar. Nice atmosphere, live music. Small card, good service.

Wonderful hotel only caveat is your wallet goes on a diet.

Very un helpful on the front desk when they realised i booked through a third party

Used to be one of my favorite places to hangout and do a bit of work, but lately, the coffee has regressed to tasting burnt and sadly the cups don't seem to be getting cleaned as well as they should. Service has also gotten a tad colder. Other than that, the sandwich fare is great and baked goods are always top notch.

If you're looking for a sugar daddy, well then this place is for you!

Loved the Gold Experience . A wonderful stay with seamless service for our every need. We decided to stay within BC instead of heading south, so it was almost a staycation. Staff were attentive, personable and friendly. Lovely room with beautiful harbour view. Excellent food. The attention to all details allowed my husband and I to thoroughly enjoy ourselves and relax. I would absolutely recommend the Fairmont gold level stay when in Vancouver. We will definitely return.

Had a Christmas work party at Oru. Very fancy, great drinks and delicious food!

Best hotel lobby bar in the city. Great food, great cocktails, lovely live music, and always amazing people watching. It s a scene that always brings a smile.

Nice decor and front desk staff, but found the bartenders in the lounge to be rude and arrogant.

Very modern and all the tech in the rooms is up to date. Service is good and fast and the reastrants in the lobby are great

Great rooms, fantastic lounge with amazing musicians.

Here for drinks for a small corporate event. Great seating with varied privacy. We took the back corner with couches for a laid back feel.

Washrooms have towels to dry your hands. Classy.

The hotel is beautiful, it has a spectacular views. Stayed for 3 nights and we stayed in the Fairmond Gold Owner Suite. The room is pricey but it is all worth it. Big room, nice tub and beauiful view. Thank you for Patricia one of the supervisor of the Fairmont Gold! She was so helpful and helped me to set up a lot of plans for my stay. Shannon of housekeeping maintained the cleanliness of my room.

I would have given it 5 star but when we checked out, the lady who drove our car back from the valet parking was a liitle bit rude. She looked like she was not happy about her job, did not even greet us and did not show any good customer service at all. She just wanted to give back the key quickly and did not even helped us to put our luggage in the car. So my partner needed to do it while her and some of the guys working outside were just watching. I still gave her a 30 dollar tip even though she was not nice and did not help us.We did not even hear any warm goodbye.Not a good way to end our stay. Just disappointed on that part.

Had a lovely time at the hotel eating and drinking with friends. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and in my opinion it is worth every penny!

I only went to get a bite to eat with my friend, but the service was great and the restaurant was lovely. Most importantly thought the good was amazing.

Came for a dinner at Botanist, massage at the Spa and drinks at the Lobby Lounge. There is literally nothing bad to say about the Pacific Rim. Staff are friendly wherever you go. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. And the facilities are all top notch. It s quite busy on the weekends and evenings but if you re not up for a full meal, there are food options available at the Lobby Lounge as well.

This hotel & staff go above and beyond. I actually lost my earring and only realized after we checked our. I went back to the hotel to inquire. Jeff, in client services escorted me back to my room (as it had been a few hours) to help me find my missing earring. Thanks to his professionalism and perseverance we found it! We won t stay anywhere else when we visit Vancouver.

This is a follow from our 3rd stay here; the customer service level is excellent as all the staff are super friendly, courteous and helpful. Probably the best one in Vancouver!

The event was extraordinary and the service was exceptional. Great experience.

Beautiful space. Usually live music after 5. I love to just sit with a book by the lobby lounge fireplace with a charcuterie order. If Taka is working at the sushi bar, definitely get the omakase. Very good service all round.

Modern, upscale, clean. The downstairs gets pretty lively at night!

Went there to watch @trilojay play. They were amazing as always! Dancing the night away!

Quite simply the best hotel I've ever stayed at thus far. Rooms are extremely well appointed. If you happen to be a Fairmont Platinum member, staying here is the biggest no brainer in the world. The service and attention to detail is truly second to none.

Very nice rooms and got a good overlook of the nearby area. Rooms are bit overpriced, mostly because of services offered there. Would recommend as business-term.

As always, The Fairmont Pacific Rim delivered a first class product and service. Great location for shopping and sea wall walks.

A good place to get a drink and some nibbles to hearing live music in the evenings at their main floor bar. You can get a quicker bit to eat and have a coffee at their cafe as well.
