We were upgraded to a penthouse that was absolutely stunning with a beautiful view. The TV in the bathroom mirror was a fun addition and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel for a drink and a meal. The lobby lounge is a nice modern space to relax in for a drink after going for a walk on the seawall. In the evenings there is entertainment. Giovane is a nice place for lunch and a tea break in the afternoon. Hotel is a good place to use the toilet if you are in the area which are always kept clean. It is good idea to buy a drink if using the facilities.

Went to Botanist for dinner and cocktails, and had an exceptional experience. Everything was absolutely beautiful, and prepared with care. The cocktails were inventive and delicious, prepared by a truly fantastic bar team. The food was fresh & seasonal, and really well done. All of the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel, amazing service for the most part. However, young couples be aware for the judgement because this hotel is higher end and they will look at you and treat you funny based off of that. At times, we felt compelled to leave because we just felt intimated by all the staff and individuals staying here even though we did book the Architect Suite for four days which is a higher end suite at this hotel.. also staffs attitude would change when they realized we were in this suite. Overall would recommend this hotel, outstanding amenities but be weary of these things before booking your stay.

This is one of our favorite hotels on the planet. We love staying here. Extremely comfortable beds, well appointed rooms with a bathtub and separate shower. In room iPad that does everything. The lobby bar and lounge is one of Vancouver's happening venues, especially on the weekend. The staff is keenly customer oriented. Terrific location. A very special experience.

Reviewing the Spa, very bright and clean space with several amenities provided oitside of your spa treatment. Make sure to get there early to use the huge shower room and steam rooms. The treatment selection is great for facials or massages.

Unfortunately we had a very underwhelming experience at this hotel. We are frequent travellers and have stayed in many Fairmont Hotels. The properties are typically beautiful, in great locations, the service impeccable but the rooms are so-so. This time, the service was truly terrible. So now you have a $600 so-so room and bad service. When we got in mid afternoon, we ordered a couple of cocktails ($20 each) in the lobby and waited close to 30 minutes before we saw the server again. The lobby bar closed at 10:00PM but they refused to seat or pour a drink for us even at 9:45. In fact they wouldn t even let us sit in the area without a drink to catch up with some old friends we were meeting. Room service only for breakfast, rude staff on the phone to order breakfast from, 45 minute wait to get breakfast to room. Ordered 3 plates with bacon and eggs, 3 glasses of orange juice and one coffee. $145.00. We don t mind paying, but for what, if not service?! Won t go back.

Fairmont Pacific Rim is a very new, modern hotel near watefront in downtown Vancouver. I was here for a wedding and the waitstaff are fantastic. Very professional, friendly, and watching them work is delightful (yeah weird thing to notice). Great place for a wedding.

This is hands-down, the best hotel and experience I have ever had on a trip. The rooms are incredible and the staff amazing! I have already recommended this hotel to numerous people and will continue to do so. If I am in Vancouver, this is the only hotel I will book. Could not be happier with my experience.

Went here for a party, I know most people here are looking for info relating to staying here, but the service was top quality. Great food, incredibly polite employees, and overall great accomodation.

My husband and I visited my parents who were staying as guest at the hotel. We met them for brunch in the restaurant. We had really great service and the food was delicious! We had our small baby along and they even provided "valet service" for our stroller. I would definitely return!

Enjoyed the evening at two of the lounges. On the ground floor enjoyed not overly loud entertainment while drinking a variety of scotch drinks. Staff were prompt, pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed sashimi and sushi with our drinks. Wasabi wasn't clumpy and sashimi was fresh. Came back later in the evening and went to the Botanist lounge. We sat at the bar and were served by a couple of gentlemen who could mix anything. I was boring and drank 18 year old Macallan with an engraved large ice cube. Mrs had two of their specialty drinks, 'What the Flower' (Gin, electric daisies, cherry blossom tea, lemon, ginger, and cardamom) and 'Poetry in motion' (vodka, grapes, elder flower, rhubarb, lemon, and champagne) I had sips and despite not liking mixed drinks, these were pleasantly delightful. We had crispy pork belly appetizer which was probably the best we've ever had. Then we had foraged mushroom, mushroom soil, crispy piave, with hand cut freshly made tagliatelle. I can only say this, it was a rainy evening and the plan was to go out and have fun. We were elated that there was so much to do with perfect ambience, there was no need to leave the Fairmont. Coming back here for sure!

They engage in dishonest practices in regards to booking through their website. They promise they will price match if you book through them but they don't honor that promise. Horrible customer service. Expedia offers better rates so definitely don't book directly through the hotel.
