Amazing and super calming. I felt one with nature here and the staff are attentive to needs of the guests

Great stay. Concierge team cant do enough to help & reception team are lovely. Management sent a cake to the room to help celebrate my wife's birthday. Thank you!

Breakfast was excellent and dinner in the Grill House was amazing.

Golf day out, didn't visit hotel but if it is as good as the clubhouse then it will be great. The staff are a credit to the place. Down to earth, polite, regular nice people who want to make you welcome.

Living in St Andrews since 2008 it has been necessary for me to find a spa & gym which can help me survive the Scottish winters. The Fairmont ticks all the box's for me on that front ! They organise plenty of social events too like the murder mystery evening , which offers excellent cuisine & good value for money ! Well done the new General Manager John . Lovely work !!!!

Hotel and staff great.Disabled facilities Great only problem room on third floor and a wee bit of a walk for someone with mobilty issues.Concern if a fire.Afternoon tea and breakfast excellent but had a evening meal at the Italian restaurant .Staff were really nice but food was very disappointing .It had been heated up in microwave .Let the hotel down.

Stunning hotel for sure but as a luxury venue the big American feel to the building doesn't quite do it for me.

Hotel is ok, staff very young and unfortunately untrained. Room service incomplete: minibar not filled, once no room service, shower gel was missing etc .. Portogiese at the bar brllliant, the snderen uninspired.

Great room and meals. Cannot comment on facilities, as did not use spa etc or golf, but overall hotel was great, despite the weather!

Upgraded room offered nice sea and views, breakfast and afternoon tea were good.

Very nice, with 2 links golf courses and a short drive from/to St Andrews. Large room and the bathroom is particularly good. A couple of cons for me - the only gift and sundry shop closes at 4:00, and the main bar was closed for renovation.

Excellent service. The bar and restaurant selection is brilliant, and you can't beat the views.

Took the kids ice skating on the "ice rink". It was not very slippy but kids had fun anyway.

Really liked the feel of this place even though it was just to visit family that were staying there. Great staff for sure know how to treat the guests.

Had an amazing Suite (3104), great views, lovely bathroom, cosy lounge and massive comfy bed! Staff were all very polite & helpfull. Would most definitely stay again.

First time and we absolutely loved it, it was a gift from our son for our 20 yes wedding anniversary,bthe hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are great very friendly and professional nothing was to much trouble, the food was delicious, thx for a wonderful stay

Filthy room, especially the shower area, and room was not made up when we arrived back late to stay for our second night. We were offered a free night, but unfortunately on the day we were supposed to go, I was ill and unable to travel. My husband cancelled via email and 6 weeks later nobody has been in contact. We have stayed here several times but will not be returning.
