I have owned three Cadillac s and was looking to buy number four. Since I am disabled, the three previous Cadillac dealerships worked out a price prior to my visiting the dealership (of course contingent upon looking at my trade, and my being satisfied with their car). All you see in Kerbeck s ads is how they are always willing to do whatever they can to strike a deal. The sticker price of the Cadillac I was looking at was several thousand dollars over that of comparable cars with lower mileage, but I looked at it as a starting point. When I spoke with the first sales representative, he kept saying I needed to come in first, and then they could negotiate on the sticker price. I called back and asked to speak with someone else. They gentleman called me back to provide me a price on my trade, and quoted the same price on the car I was interested in as was listed. When I started sharing the lower sticker prices found on similar cars (just not the color I wanted) he said, we have a one price policy . This is contradictory to what I was told the prior day (in other words I was lied to), as well this is contradictory to all of Kerbeck s claims of how they value the customer, and will do whatever they can to earn your business. This was without doubt, the worst experience I ever had trying to buy a car, they are overpriced compared to the rest of the marketplace, and it s dealerships like this that give car dealers the negative wrap they often get tagged with.
