I stay here every year when I come to speak at a conference at the convention center. It's an easy, less than 10 minute walk to the convention center. There are several restaurants within walking distance too, from nicer places all the way down to Chipotle. There's also a pharmacy (either a Walgreens or CVS) just up the street for snacks or whatever you need. It definitely isn't a fancy hotel, but it's clean and super convenient for me, and I feel safe staying here on my own. The wifi is strong, and it's also well set up for working from the room. Some places have just a small table and uncomfortable chair, but they always have a large desk and decent desk chair, and my room this year actually had a pretty comfy recliner next to an outlet that I worked from for several hours at a time over the few days I was there.

It's a nice hotel, but not the best. It was difficult to get hot water to come out of the shower and the bed could be a little more comfortable. It's still a nice price and great location for the convention center and beaches. I've stayed in much worse hotels

Front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. Long line to check in, rooms were not ready on arrival. Lobby and hallways were dirty, carpet had clearly not been vacuumed in some time. After finally getting checked in and assigned a room we walked in to our room to find it absolutely filthy. Hair in the sheets, dirty carpet, dust everywhere, hair in the bathtub, dirty toilet and more. Room was booked through Expedia. Front desk clerk was understanding when we advised her we would not be staying and showed her the pictures we had taken of our room. She asked us to cancel our booking through Expedia and she would refund our money. I still have not received a refund.

Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was infested with roaches (literally found and killed 4 in a few hours) see attached photo to see one of roaches who greeted us in the morning on our alarm clock. They also advertised as "breakfast" included which contained a grand selection of coffee, granola bars and packaged muffins sitting by the lobby entrance. They also provided transportation via shuttle to our cruise ship which took them over a hour until they finally got us a shuttle.

Booked here on a walk in occasion. The price was $118 for a double room and kitchenette. The place needs a good refurb on its rooms. Appliances are from the 90s & look quite stale. The breakfast isn t what you think. It s hot water with packets of porridge or cereal bars & hot drinks that s arranged in the front entrance. Location gave it an extra star but value for money wasn t really worth it unfortunately. Staff seemed nice enough.

The staff are A++! Super friendly, very accommodating and extremely helpful. We arrived early and they were able to get us in our room a bit earlier than check-in. Then when we returned from our cruise they even held our bags until our flight home!! Above and beyond if you ask me! The facilities are clean and comfortable, and great value. Thank you Extended Stay Ft. Lauderdale for making this trip perfect. Highly recommend staying here!

Its like an apartment building with efficiency rooms. Carpets need to be updated. It was affordable with absolutely no extras. The receptionist was nice but extremely slow and made an errand that I caught but couldn't be corrected until the morning manager came on. The first room I was put into had a horrible glue type smell they did change my room that was a little better designed with 2 double beds. All in all they were ok

I really this hotel the front desk representatives are very delightful and friendly.. Also, they very understanding to the guest. I enjoyed seeing neike and tori everyday.. They are awesome.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay longer then 15 days.. I would like to add how rude and nasty the hotel manager Shamekia is. Everybody else where very helpful.

I'm glad I only had to stay here a night. Do yourself a favor and stay in holiday inn next door, looked like they recently renovated. The elevator barely worked, good thing my room was just up on the 2nd floor, took the stairs. The room smelled like smoke, and didn't even look like it was cleaned. We also had no remote..

I arrived at midnight with my 2 small kids on February 9th after a long flight with a confirmed reservation in hand. Spent 1.5 hours in the lobby, was told the hotel was overbooked by multiple rooms. Other people in the lobby attempting to check in had the same problem. Eventually they tried to find another hotel, but everything was sold out due to multiple cruise ships leaving the next day. Was the worst travel experience of my life, especially with 2 small kids, no manager available to assist, and in the end I was literally told there was nothing they could do to help. They could not refund me at the moment, so I had to call for a refund 2 days later, but did get a refund eventually. Never again.

The worst hotel I ever stayed all my life.

The worst hotel I ever stayed all my life.
1. Sticky wooden floors, you have to wear slippers or socks to walk around.
2. Smelly room.
3. A kitchen with not a even a coffee maker. When asked, they say you need request for one.
4. Can hear guests from talking 2 to 3 rooms away.
5. Grab and go lunch means nutri-bars and packed gas station muffins.
6. The shuttle to cruise is not free. You have to pay per person. Taxi or Uber is cheaper.

Not as nice of a hotel as we expected or hoped for...

Not as nice of a hotel as we expected or hoped for. This is an older hotel and is more for long-term stay and not for anyone expecting typical hotel amenities for a night or two. First, unbelievably, there is NO ICE available anywhere in the hotel. When asked, they suggested my wife & I walk to the grocery store about 1/2 mile away for ice. NOISY refrigerator in the room, we had to shut it off while we were there. When calling for a shuttle to the hotel from the airport, I was on hold for over 20 minutes on my second attempt after they never picked me up from the first time I was placed on hold. Down the hall a long-term resident kept his door open while playing loud music and cooking smelly foods. And while I can' t confirm the source, of bites my wife received all over her legs the day after we checked out, she is convinced there were bed bugs. I wasn't bitten but her legs had multiple bites she showed me the day we checked out. And while we appreciated their shuttle service, we were surprised that it wasn't a free shuttle service as other hotels we have stayed at offered. This location charged $8 per passenger. We'll never use Extended Stay for a hotel room again.

Parked my car before flying out Fromm FLL airport and the experience was great! Very quick check in (make sure to bring in your registration, they make a copy of it) and the airport shuttle even waited for me. The lady at the front desk was very nice and Eddy my driver was also great. Overall recommend this place for someone looking for an inexpensive place to park when flying out of FLL.

I have been staying here for three months and am happy to report that I have never seen an insect of any kind. The appliance are clean and work properly, and likewise for the washers and dryers in the laundry room. The staff have been very friendly and helpful, especially Marlene, who manages the front desk in the mornings and always has a smile for you. There are two sizable shoppings areas close by with just about anything you might need. A pleasant experience for those who work out of town and need to stay for extended periods of time.

It was a good hotel with a clean room and a pretty comfortable bed with friendly helpful staff. Everything in ft Lauderdale was super expensive in general and this place was no different. They did not have an ice machine which is odd for me, it's given in Texas hotels. There was a terrible smell of someone who cooked something with a strong spice. However you couldn't smell it in the room so that's fine. I had some trouble getting hot water in the shower... But figured it out, and staff was super helpful and polite

I was not planning on staying at this hotel but this past weekend I did with a few friends and it was a great time! We originally had a room at the hotel next to this, Holiday inn, but they practically left us stranded because we weren t 21 but already payed for a room. We were very disappointed and walked over to this hotel, who gladly took us in as 18 year olds! They were very inviting and felt horrible for what happened. Everyone who works here is so kind and it made my weekend 10x better!!

A simple hotel but very clean. With kitchenette and refrigerator, near shopping centers and supermarkets. Friendly attention in front desk. Nearby passes the truck and trolley that takes one, passing in front of the sea, to the Galleria where there are very nice department stores.

Extended Stay America is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Poor breakfast. Funny mattress. Bugs crawling all around (kitchen, floor, bathroom, desk & bed). No housekeeping service for a wk and every night as needed. Even though the receptionist guaranteed the room to be cleaned everyday, the room hadn't been cleaned, and Mr. Brian, who was in charge at the last night I stayed, was very rude, passive, and didn't know how to service - When I got back from outside at 8pm, I saw the room hadn't been cleaned, and the hotel (Mr. Brian) kept saying, "We don't have housekeeping at night. There's nothing I can do!" for cleaning service and their policy. So, I strongly recommend people not to stay in Extended Stay America in fort Lauderdale in order not to get a hard time from the damn policy and the employees, having no conception of customer service.

In a word: AVOID. I had to run out and buy allergy medicine my first night. I had bug bites all over my body. Facilities are dirty, breakfast consists of prepackaged muffins, granola bars and maybe coffee. Expect bad smells, don t expect clean sheets.

Room service is an extra $10/day.

This is a 3 star hotel at best. Rooms are not updated, comes with kitchen but zero pots, pans, spoons, forks, ect. The hallways smell and the beds are not very comfy...not to the standards of higher end hotels. Their "free breakfast" I believe is limited to coffee and some bagels. I didn't book this reservation and I'll think twice before doing so.. Location is excellent. Walking distance to convention center and restaurants. Attendents are nice. As far as the rooms go you get what you pay for.
