Very friendly shuttle driver Eddie is amazing.. Shaina, Marlene, Shaneka were all working the front desk and they were very friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back to this location next time I am in town. Rooms were clean beds were comfy. Thanks for the amazing stay.
Staff was great. I was not impressed with the room for the money I spent on it. It was clean though. I couldn't figure out the smell when I went outside but when I looked out the window. Tada. A water treatment plant right next door.

I've been going to these chains a lot and haven't had a bad experience until this stay. As soon as we check in the fire alarm goes off, no one at the front desk knows what to do so we had to just leave the hotel. Tried to call with no luck. Turns out someone burnt toast or something. Won't be back to this hotel. AC was loud, no ice maker, no plates or utensils.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Decent place for the price. Stayed here for competition which was 2 blocks away. Alot of stores around and restaurants as well. They have parking and Staff were friendly. Didnt really interact with them. When I checked in the lady in the front was super friendly. Kids loved it. Our room had a small kitchen along with a fridge and sink. Good place for the price.
The room was ok, the bathroom was big enough. In the room was a small kitchen and a (loud) fridge available. The breakfast is not really worth mentioning, there are chocolate bars, muffins and coffee, as well as tea and hot chocolate. Ample parking and WiFi are available
For starters Neka is extraordinary. My layover flight arrived earlier than expected but nothing was available. I watched this young lady run around doing multiple jobs and still manage to smile and greet everyone accordingly, even the impatient rude individuals. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. If I ever come back to Fort Lauderdale and stay at Extended Stay, it will definitely be because of this great customer service and drive. A valuable gem to your company is she!
Love having a kitchen, good AC and tall shower. Not bothered by housekeeping either!
A tired hotel with a fresh coat of paint. One of the elevators was out of order, and the other bumped and vibrated in a worrisome way. Calls to the front desk get left on hold forever. Hot water in the bathrooms and kitchens takes forever to get warm. The rooms are reasonably well appointed, and the facility is clean, and the staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the problems.

Friendly staff. Great location. No real breakfast served (coffee, oatmeal, packaged muffins) but across the street from Einstein Bros Bagels and Panera Bread.
Staff needs to be retrained badly. For a franchise this large they need better housekeeping, maintenance and they can stand a remodel at this location.
Pls beware. I had to checked out this hotel early yesterday I even paid for today, but I couldn't stay in this hotel any more because hotel bed bugs bit all over my body. I have over 20 bites on over my body: chest, shoulders, back, leg, arms, finger...I just saw a doctor for a steroid cream prescription I paid over $150 to doctor and steroid cream bills. They didn't even say sorry to me. Doctor asked me to wash all my clothes with hot water and buy a new suitcase. So it costed me a lot to stay at this hotel.

This place was awful. It was filthy, hair all over the bathroom and on the "clean" blankets. Curtains had holes all over them. Its right next door to a water treatment plant so the whole place smelled like sewage. Not recommended at all!
Room: comfortable room with two top burner, sink, and small fridge. Beds were perfectly comfortable.
Location: hands down, the best!! Can walk absolutely everywhere, Starbucks across the street, nail places to go before you hit a cruise, Panera, tjmax to walk to and get any last minute items, a grocery store too.
Service: the ladies here have such a great spirit. It was packed when we walked in and they handled it all so well. The crew here works together and are very hospitable.
Parking was limited, could not get extra towels, no cups in the room, advertised continental breakfast was coffee and tea in the small (very small lobby) with granola bars and muffins.
Marlene and Anasis were two of the best receptionists Ive ever had at any hotel I have stayed at. I would highly recommend Extended Stay Cruiseport for anybody looking for a quick overnight or few days stay!

Should be 0 stars. We showed up for our prepaid room at 9 pm and were told they were overbooked and left us stranded in there parking lot with our luggage. They would not assist us in finding another room or with transportation to another hotel. In the past when I have run into this situation(with a non pre-paid room). We have been taken to another hotel and the original rate was honored at the new hotel if it was higher. By the looks of the lobby we are probably better off where we ended up down the street. Not impressed with the customer service at the Extended Stay.

Clean room, super friendly and cool staff, but my room still has a completely empty kitchen - no plates, glasses, nothing. Also, WiFi doesn't work, but that's just bad luck since I came right after Hurricane Irma.
The rooms are OK, the water pressure in the shower is minimal at best, and the water is only luke warm at best. One of the worse Exstended Stay Hotels I have ever visited.
Good room and lots of restaurant near by to this hotel. Very good staff and extremely happy with Marlene. Few suggestions to improve the quality of breakfast as it is less quantity, overall happy with this stay.
Great location! Right next to a bunch of different restaurants in walking distance. We had a cruise so it was 5 minutes away. They also provide a shuttle there. It is 10 minute ride to the airport, and they pick you up from the airport and can give you a ride to the airport depending on what time you can go. It starts at 7 am I believe. You get coffee and different granola bars and muffins for the free breakfast. The bed is pretty comfortable. Wi fi works well. I don't personally recommend their extra bed that you can get because the support system feels too hard when you lay in it.

Seems old. Elevator was malfunctioning, toilet in room wouldn't flush properly, key cards in doors didn't work well, and very noisy in room. Not only could here neighbor talking, but could clearly hear them peeing. Also for hotel close to airport that advertises a free shuttle, it useless for early flight as it doesn't start until 7.00 am.
There was bed bugs on the bed and the towels weren t very sanitary and the key cards kept not working and the kitchen oven doesn t work and the chairs are dirty and they lied to say that there was a couch and really small space with tv that close.

We booked our stay a month in advance for our cruise and we were all excited about it all until we called a week in advance to know about shuttle service and shipping diapers there beforehand. We've never been treated so poorly in our lives! Coming from someone that has worked in customer service, their service was poorly delivered. Front desk, Christina, will answer (if that's what you want to call it) your questions, then hang up (without saying goodbye), and deny she hung up after you call back. Rudeness is through the roof here! Even though, it's conveniently located and they provide shuttle service, it's not something that I could recommend to my friends or family (or yours either). Save yourself a headache and book somewhere else.

Let me start off by saying that I live in Florida and understand that we have bugs. However, I also know that any hotel in Florida understands that too and makes sure they're on top of any bug problem before it starts. My husband is a pretty laid back guy - not much bugs him (sorry, had to do it). When he called me last night the first thing out of his mouth was that he could not believe the number of roaches in the room. He attempted to call the front desk to complain but there was no answer. So, he went downstairs. Fifteen minutes in, still no front desk person. So he went back to the room - had I been there, I would have demanded we leave, but he just dealt with it. When he tried to talk to a manager this morning, shock of shocks - no manager available. When he called me this morning his words were "do not ever book at this place again. It's disgusting." When my laid back/doesn't like to complain husband has this kind of problem, you know it's beyond anything you can imagine. Run away from this place.
When you stay at a hotel with a kitchenette you would expect there to be dishes in your cupboards. Not here. Not even a fork or knife. You have to go to the front counter to ask for a cup or anything else you might need. We stayed three nights and beds were not made or any fresh towels put out ever. The "breakfast" offered is granola bars and coffee/tea.
Should be re-named Extended Stay Away.

Out of all of the extended stays in ft Lauderdale this is my favorite thus far. Location is great, front desk is friendly and the upgrades are nicer.
Our room was damp and not clean. Not enough parking space. Breakfast option was very limited (grab and go; no fruits only few muffins and bars and coffee) however stuffs are helpful and in close proximity you get the port and water taxi ride which would take you around the town including Hollywood Beach. Cvs /restaurants are in 2/3 mins driving distance.. Airport 10 mins.
Great. Clean, the beds were soft. Air conditioning was cold. The room had 2 stove tops, with utensils. For the price, pretty good.
I stayed at this hotel for a day while waiting for my friends to arrive in town. This hotel has a great location all the stores are within walking distance. The room was nice and clean and the staff was awesome !! Thanks so much for accommodating me . Y'all rock :)

What a rip off!! I can spit with more water pressure than the luke warm shower.Hair on the bed...not mine. Hair on the dingy towels...not mine. Bed has springs poking at you. No shampoo. Tiny TV. Just plain gross. All this for $229/night. Can you say price gouging?

Room smells like smoke. Building next door wakes you up at 7am with their work whistle. No breakfast unless you consider coffee and granola bars breakfast.
After missing our flight and scrambling to find a place to stay the night, we found this the extended stay hotel. Shaina checked us in and was so helpful in calming us down with friendly manner, after the drama of making last min plans.

Not sure what the other reviewers are looking for for under 100$ in Fort Lauderdale. This isn't a motel six! I stayed here on July 12th 2013. I travel for business. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room is an efficiency, not just a plain boring hotel room, you have a kitchen in your room complete with sink, stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots, pans, cups, silverware, etc.... A weeks stay here would be a dream. The bed was comfortable, the room impeccable. They are almost finished renovation of all the rooms to what I stayed in, and it looks great.
Worst experience ever. I paid full for a reservation, my flight got delayed, I tried to check in after midnight but they said they have no more rooms and my reservation is no more. Looks like they sold my room to someone else and offered me nothing, not even money back, and told me to leave.
I give this ESA 5-stars for value and helpfulness / friendliness of the staff. The facility itself is basic accommodation in this generally affluent (and unfriendly) area.
Normal hotel, I can tell you that it may not be the place to stay if you have a weak stomach! It happens to be next to the water treatment plant

The staff there was amazing and they helped us out when needed. They joked around with us and made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The shuttle from the air port was extremely helpful, they told us of local places to visit and how to get around. The price was amazing for how great the hotel is. Over great stay.
Never even got to stay here. I walked in and there was no one at the front desk. I called out and walked around and didn t see any employees. I called the front desk and the phone just continued to ring unanswered. I walked across the street to the Holiday Inn but they didn t have any rooms available so I came back here and when I walked in there was a line of people waiting still with no one at the front desk so I left and stayed at the Days Inn on Broward Blvd.
Poor wifi, pay to have a good one. Wired notice. It seems I will have a visitor in the morning.
