I take my car here for oil changes and it's very fast, friendly and professional. They give you a free carwash for a place with multiple local locations and go over anything that might be concerning so you know what's going on with your car. I will be returning here for more service in the future.

He was aware of my hesitance in making contact during these Covid times and came to my house several times picking up and dropping off car. I have struggled with credit issues in the past and continue to work on improving them. The staff at Kia are amazing and always make me feel just as important as the person who may have a better situation than I. I went there with the expectation of selling trading my 2013 Soul with high miles in for another used car, when it was all said and done the team of Joe, Mike and Lou got me in to a 2017 Kia Optima, the car I had been dreaming of getting for years. The process took a while due to my credit issues, but they made it happen and all the while making me feel comfortable. I then met with Todd in the Service Dept who is so knowledgable and gave me some great advice about my new car. I highly recommend anyone with good, bad or slow credit purchase their next car at Executive Kia. Great people, great service and I love my car.

Scheduled an appointment with the internet manager because I had to drive an hour and was limited on time.... the car had no gas and wasn't ready. Had to wait 20 min in line at bjs to get gas then when I asked to put a deposit on the car because I had to leave they said we will call you first with a an appraisal on your trade and just come back after no worries. After my meeting I called because I did not receive the call as promised....found out they had sold the car out from under me. Within a couple of hours....they should not be trusted

When we started our search, after totaling our car, we were looking for used. We went to one dealership and were totally ignored, we drove up towards Wallingford area, and stopped here. We started looking around, knowing we either wanted the Sorento or Optima. Chin came out, greeted us, asked us exactly what we were looking for and how we'd be using it. Seeing as how my husband drives from the northeast part of the state to the Stamford area, he right away said Optima is your best bet with gas mileage. We went in thinking we were just going to get a few quotes, hoping we could get into one eventually. Within a half hour, we test drove a used optima, and walked out ending up buying a beautiful new 2015 KIA Optima! Monday my husband went and picked it up, Chin took the time and thoroughly went through all the features with him. We couldn't have had a better experience and would HIGHLY recommend Executive KIA and Chin to anyone looking for a car! The car rides beautiful and we are so very impressed. Thank you Chin, you were great!!!!

I was wondering what options there were in new and used vehicles and I was looking around out of curiosity. Mr. Chang assessed my personal needs and requirements in a vehicle. He helped get me into a brand new 2013 Kia Soul... and amazingly enough it's only about $100 more per month for payments/insurance than my old vehicle... a 2007! Between saving on gas and eliminating the need for gas additives... this vehicle is affordable for me! Plus... I have a vehicle that is under warranty now! Thank you Mr. Chang and Executive Kia!

i wasn't too impressed. the sales man very nearly crippled or maimed me. didnt exactly know about the cars or pretend to care about me as a potential buyer. he thought i was particularly cheesy for thinking the kia sound system usability sucked, and resorted to some variant of "you get what you pay for" as a response to any concerns. also he very inconsiderately pulled the car out quickly when i was standing right next to it, without knowing how i would react, whether he would run over my feet or anything. based on this experience i would not return. tbh i have grounds for a lawsuit for real based on his behavior in that regard but imma just leave this review instead.

As my wife and I began looking for the best vehicle to purchase we began to consider the Kia's. We considered new or used and looked at a couple models. As we walked the lot we were not attacked by sales staff. As we entered the show room we met Chin. He answered all of our questions in the show room and on our road test. Enjoying the road test but still undecided we left the dealership. At that time I received some news a very important trip came up as my Mother was ill. As I left town my wife was left to work out details in my absents. As I returned a week later we took delivery of our new Soul. The excellent knowledgeable, courteous and caring service, continued as we had the opportunity to work with the finance manager. I have purchased vehicles in the pasted but I will say I have never been cared for like I (we) were at Executive Kia

We recently bought our lease out at Executive Kia. Jorge Dominguez was incredibly helpful through the entire process. The lease expired during the shut down and he was able to work it all out safely. We had leased the car from another Kia dealership that was so difficult to work with and had no interest in helping us through this process. His goal was to get us into another car. From the very beginning Jorge worked with us exploring options and understanding why we wanted to buy out the lease. I wouldn t hesitate to work with him again! I highly recommend him.

Went in originally thinking I just needed air added to my tires because the low pressure light came on and it was cold in the morning. When I got there a service guy named Todd I believe went out to take a look at my car and said the rear tire looked low so he took it in and was examining it. He also offered to do my oil change that I had scheduled for next week while I was there which was pretty awesome that I didn t have to come back another day. Turns out there was a screw in my tire and I needed a new tire. Todd went out of his way to help me and even worked out the cost to help me financially because I wasn t expecting to need a new tire. While I waited I also talked to a sales rep. He was nice also but Todd really went above and beyond. His customer service is excellent and he is knowledgeable as well. Definitely should promote him or pay him more or something lol. The other guy I ve dealt with in service is great too. But honestly way to go Todd. I did my previous lease/ service at executive dodge and the guy there was ehh and I feel like he was deceiving and trying to over charge me just because I m a girl and don t know much about cars. And the quality work there was definitely not as good. Kia deserves 5 stars 100%. And Todd as well. Thank you for having such great workers and for being so helpful.

Where do I begin?! This is my third Kia, and I love it! I feel like going to a relatives house whenever I go into the dealership. I love Chin as my sales rep because he is thorough and genuinely sincere, and of course John who always works with Chin to help me out as much as they can. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Porreca this time around, and he was just as pleasant. Even the people in the service department that come in the showroom, say, "Hi Ter, How are you doing?" They are all genuine. Everyone says hello whether I'm buying a car or there for regular scheduled service, even the sales reps I never worked with! I have come a long way to get the vehicle of my dreams, and they helped make it happen. Being a single mom, and raising three kids on my own was not easy, and pretty much destroyed my credit. As they went off on their own, I slowly brought myself back. Even when things were not so good, Mike Schweikert and John Gogliettino worked together to get me into my first Kia many years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I love my new 2014 Kia Sorento! It has everything, but the kitchen sink in it, and I love it. Finding something new to do in it every day. Well, sorry guys this is it for a while, and I know it will be a while because Kia's last so long time. Looking forward to working with service now for my oil changes, oh yeah, I have a scheduled appt. today to have my rain guards, and brand new Sorento all weather mats put in! See you guys soon! First of all, I want to say that I've always had a pleasant experience at Executive Kia in Wallingford. I have dealt with John and Theresa in the past, and trusted their judgment and guidance. Mr. Chang was pleasant and thoroughly explained everything for me to understand. I knew they would be honest with me. I've been a widow for 22 years, and have raised three children on my own. Although they are on their own now, I've been left in not so favorable financial position. I travel for work quite a bit and although I have a 2008, I have over 120,000 miles on my vehicle and owe much more than it's worth, and not in a position to transfer the large balance to a newer vehicle at this time as my payment would be more than I could afford. I knew that the people at Kia would be honest with me and not steer me wrong. I hope to be in a better position in the near future, and I definitely will go back to them. I love my Kia and will probably continue to buy Kia's. I'd like to give extra kudos to Mr. Chang as he was pleasant, charming, honest and made me feel quite comfortable. Not once did I feel demeaned as a woman by "shoddy sales tactics". He listened to me, and explained my future options that left me with some food for thought, and wanting to come back in the future. I did not go to any other dealership because I knew I could be taken advantage of, and possibly be put in an irreversible situation. Typical car sales techniques used a bait-and-switch on both trade in value and when they presented financing numbers on a vehicle that was not the one that was discussed. Manager Joe talks down to you like you re stupid and gets easily frustrated if you re not willing to agree to his terms. Also, they take FOREVER when trying to sell you a vehicle. They say that they don t haggle, but there was still plenty of ok let me take this info to my manager BS. When are car dealerships going to come into this century and empower the sales staff to make decisions, or only have managers sell cars? It s ridiculous.

Salesman Brandon was a good dude, though. He was the reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

I purchased my second Kia from Executive Kia... a 2013 Kia Optima EX. First, the experience was painless. In and out in one day. Not happy with my trade-in amount, but then again who is? Otherwise, this was a quick and pleasant journey. Mike P, my sales associate, was awesome. We looked at a few cars before agreeing on the Optima. He was knowledgeable and (even if he faked it) seemed to be on my side with the negotiation process. I am happy with the journey. The car... well, it is awesome. Haven't been in a car in 20 years. I am a truck guy. However, with $4.00 per gallon gas prices and 15 miles per gallon, it was time for a change. The Optima is averaging 30 miles per gallon... and it is super fast. I can see tickets in my future. I have received so many compliments about my car. It looks like a BMW 500 series but cost 1/2 the price.
The bottom line: I would buy from Executive Kia again.

I recently decided to purchase a new Kia Optima, I did my homework and went to four different Kia dealerships. I was all set to buy a new one when I found that Executive Kia had one (exactly what I was looking for) with 3,200 miles on it. I decided that to save some money off of a brand new one I would purchase this one. After negotiating with the sales team I purchased the vehicle. The day before I was to pick up the vehicle the salesman told me they would prep the car, which included a full tank of gas. He then stopped and said "wait this car has 3,000 miles on it so its not new so we won't top off the tank." I told the salesman if I'm spending $30,000 at a dealership the least they can do it top off the gas tank, its not like its a pickup truck. The day I picked up the car just as expected the vehicle had less than a half tank of gas, I should have asked to speak with a manager but I chose not to. The salesman went through all the paperwork and books. I asked about an owner's manual since I only saw a guide that said navigation manual. He informed me the book was both an owner's manual and a guide to the navigation. After getting home I realized he was wrong and no owner's manual was supplied. The next day I spoke with the salesman and informed him of his mistake and asked that an owner's manual be given to me. He said he would check with his manager and later called me back. He said his manager said since the vehicle was not considered new it was "as is" and I was welcome to purchase an owner's manual through their parts department. I was disgusted by this response and made the salesman aware that I was very unhappy with not only the gas situation but the fact that they would not supply an owner's manual after he told me incorrectly that it was in the car. To supply me with a full tank of gas and an owner's manual probably would cost the dealership less than $50.00 but it obvious that they clearly are not about making the customer happy. I informed the salesman that I would review the dealership poorly online and also send a letter to Kia corporate explaining my unhappiness with my experience with Executive Kia. Since I never received any further call back from management or the salesman shows that they could clearly care less. It amazes me that if you purchase a vehicle with 3,000 miles they treat you totally different than if the vehicle was brand new even though I spent $30,000 that day. I will not be dealing with the Executive Kia dealership for any service or repeat purchase situation and will always choose another Kia dealership for anything further that I need.

I'm not going to give a huge spiel like these guys laid out a red carpet and brought me a car on a silver platter...car buying is always give and take. But out of all the experiences I had searching, Executive Kia is a relief...and I hate the idea of spending money. They offered me over 2K less than another Kia dealership I worked with, with extras and GREAT financing for a super sweet 2014 Optima. I was having negative experiences elsewhere, but unlike others, Executive won't give you bs; they will try to work with you. I cannot speak for everyone there, but I didn't have one bad experience. I personally worked with Joseph (Sales rep) and Todd (Sales manager) - great guys. Mike the Finance Manager was a pleasure too. If you're looking for a Kia, I would always recommend 1) shopping around before signing 2) putting Executive Kia on your list.

As my husband says "It's everything a car should be". Jorge and John were great. They either knew the answer to our questions or helped us find out. I am truly impressed with their level of professionalism and the level of customer service provided since I walked into your dealership. I am use to buying high end vehicles for myself and I have to compare your dealership to that level of service. I am truly impressed that Executive Kia in Wallingford match it. I was a little put off due to an earlier experience at another Kia dealership in the Hartford area. So my impression of that brand was low to begin with.
My daughter was looking for vehicle to replace her recently loss of her last one. She was looking at the Optimas and really wanted one. I search the internet and found several cars one was at Kia in Wallingford. Mike was outstanding and was understanding of our needs and her budget. His presentation from the beginning was on point. He was patient and followed up when he stated he will. His constant communication with my daughter about the process was amazing. He kept her in the loop and when it came time for delivery he didn't drop the ball either, it was flawless. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and this young man makes it to the top 2 salesmen in my book. Made me even consider wanting to buy a Kia in the future. Way to go Mike.... let's not forget Lou Oosten, his peoples skills are extraordinary. He made the paperwork process appealing, it is usually the part I dread the most due to the length of time it takes. He has it down to a science and speedy process.

This is actually a really nice dealership, and I've been to many. I think the owners (the "Executive" name) has a good reputation. They treat you well there, and it's not all about the bottom line. I took my sportage in for service, and they remembered my name and greeted me. They also cleaned the vinyl in my car when I just took it in to get a seat fixed. And they don't over-charge you like Ford always did to me. I dont mind driving a little extra distance for the great service

I used to love executive Kia I used to get all my service done there until one time my catalytic converter went out and then all the sudden fixed itself and a charge me a $250 restocking fee for the catalytic converter and never even restocked it I have to buy in the same catalytic converter from Monro Muffler they had to go up there and get it so they ripped me off for $250 I would not recommend their service department

I purchased my 2012 Kia Forte EX on July 19, 2012. I chose Executive because a few months earlier my boyfriend purchased a 2012 Kia Optima. Our initial trip to Executive didn't go so well, we are a young couple in our early twenties looking at the most expensive car Kia has to offer, we were ignored for 45 minutes until we decided to walk out....After a phone call to Todd; the sales manager, they were willing to help and did everything they could to seamlessly execute the sale. Mike Golas is the best sales person Executive has. He did everything in his power to get me into the exact car I wanted, and he did! Everyone at Executive Kia is helpful and polite including Todd the sales manager and Gavin the finance manager. You can't go wrong with buying a Kia especially with the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on new cars; that's what sold me. The entire sales experience was easy going, everything was explained in full detail. I recommend Executive Kia if you're in the market to buy a new car, especially Mike Golas!!

Huge shout out to Katie Rice! She listened to my needs and was more than willing to show me a few cars. She made my car buying experience a breeze and went above and beyond for me. From start to finish the process was effortless on my end. Marcus and Lewis also did a fine job. Lewis did all of the paperwork with me and went over everything in detail making me feel very at ease. All the while training a new associate, it never slowed him down. Marcus was super nice, chatted with me about football, was very engaged in our conversation and made me feel at home even though I was dealing with Katie. Katie even took money out of her own pocket to fill my tank because the gas card was with another sales associate and she didn't want me to wait! Shows the character of the people who work there. Hands down one of the easiest car buying experiences ever. We were looking for a minivan and could not find one we liked or a dealer willing to give a fair deal in our area. We were looking on line and saw a van that we liked. We call and talked to Chin and he told us it was still available. We drove from Springfield Ma. Over an hour away . Chin greeted us in the parking lot with the van ready for us to look at and test drive ,he then explained the no haggling price policy . They had all the dealers in our immediate area beat. Chin and Lou worked with us ,they were more than willing to go to the Mass registry and get the plates . I wanted a factory remote start not and after market We were given a loner car while they were installing it and when it was done Lou brought the van to our house so didn t have to go all the way back to Ct. . How many dealers would do something like that after the sale. If your in the market for a new car or new to you Exutive Kia Wallingford Ct. is the place to go ,ask for Chin, Both Chin and Lou went above and beyond to give us excellent customer service ,also upon delivery the black shiny metallic waxed car was presented to us with a giant red bow ,

The Salesperson that guided me through my purchase was Amber Oliver, she was very kind and genourous and definitely extremely helpful. From the moment I walked through the doors to the moment I left, the Salesmen and Saleswomen made me feel welcome. I would highly reccommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a great vehicle at a great price.

Dont buy a kia! We bought a brand new sorento. We ...

Dont buy a kia! We bought a brand new sorento. We need a camera. Thats it! Car will not run without the camera since its part of the safety sytem.so no we have a brand new car we cant drive the past 6 months. We have been waiting 6 months on kia to get us a camera! We keep getting lied to and dates switched! They keep letting us pay our expensive car payments while doing nothing to fix our car! No rental is being offered. They sell cars they cant provide replacement parts for. I was going to buy a new Telluride. Not now! We only had the car a week and the glass just broke driving down the road. Same window my daughters car seat is in. After doing research i found out its a common problem with kia glass. Do yourself a favor and buy from another auto maker. Rant over!

If I could rate this place -10 stars, I would. I had the worst car buying experience I could have ever had.

I bought a used 2008 Volkswagen Jetta from Executive Kia last summer. I was so excited to have a "new" car for the summer after my previous car had just been totaled. Let me tell you, this car dealership sold me a total LEMON!

As soon as I got home in the driveway, I noticed my fan under the hood was extra loud but I didn't think anything of it because I couldn't hear it from inside the car. The next week I drove to Montreal and I felt like I was driving on square blocks instead of round tires. The following two weeks after that I go get an oil change and I'm told that I have a major oil leak, and that all of the oil had leaked out of my car. "How did you even get to your oil change appointment? Your car should be smoking by now," they said.

Finally I decided to go to Langan Volkswagen in Glastonbury and get a complete diagnostic.

Here were only SOME of the issues:
-dented rim (later found out two rims were dented) Executive Kia actually did fix this, however they had to put a new rim on TWICE because they were being cheap and ordered me a crappy used rim that was damaged.
-dead radiator cooling fan
-oil leak in brake line
-cracked radiator support

By the time I found out all the issues with my car, I already drove more than 2,000 miles and was "out of warranty".

Three months later my front driver's side wheel almost fell off the car (isn't that crazy?). My axle had to be realigned and I needed a new wheel bearing and speed sensor. One of the major selling points my salesman used was that many of my car parts were brand new including the front axle. That should have been the big red flag right then and there but I was too excited to have a new car.

Executive Kia sold me an EXTREMELY dangerous and unsafe car that was not customer ready at all. I feel like my car is being held together with duct tape and I also feel incredibly jipped. The manager Rick is also shady as hell! He is condescending and doesn't know what he's talking about and also lies straight to your face.

The only good thing these guys offered me was a free oil change (wahoooooooo) I will NEVER go back to these idiots for any kind of service because they will probably mess with my car while it's being serviced just like they did to my friend's car!

I can't believe I waited this long to write a review about Executive Kia of Wallingford but I really cannot believe what happened to me and would never want anyone to have a "worst nightmare experience" like I did.

Now I know what they say when buying a car is a liability not an investment. Sure is a liability from EXECUTIVE KIA!

EDIT: I forgot one thing. My transmission also slams gears. When I brought it to Executive Kia for them to look at, they hooked it up to a computer, which detected no issues.....so that must mean the car doesn't have any tranny issues......even though it clearly slams gears every. single. time.

Thanks to Mike Schweikert and the Dealership Manager, John, for going out of their way to help me find the perfect car for my family. I love my Sportage! I had a great experience here - Mike was hysterical and kept the mood low pressure, even when i wasn't sure i was going with the Sportage and John gave me a great deal on my trade-in. I will definitely go back to Executive Kia and hope to work with Mike again.

Not going to be biased because it's where i bought my car but hands down they do a great job with the servicing of my two cars. Give you a detail report on any issues they uncover, the timeline in when to experience the changes because of it and any suggestions they can give in repairs and costs is given right off the bat. I love that they consult during the service if they feel anything is needed and not try to surprise you with a bill at the end. A mean if that's not enough the free wash after every service is good but them granola bars are better.

Executive Kia is the place to go for your new car. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Joe was very helpful, he is a great salesman. I would definitely recommend any of the Executive auto groups dealerships.

Chin was very patient with us and answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable about all the complex electronics features the car has. The sale went off smoothly with no unexpected last minute charges. We're enjoying our beautiful new car.

Ouafaa made it possible for us to drive out of the dealership with the car the same day! It was such an easy process. I didnt think we would get approved but we did. I was a little nervous at first about getting a brand new car but she put me at ease and made it really simple. Such nice and friendly ppl that work there. They don't pressure or annoy you like most dealerships do. What a great experience and we are so happy with the new car!!!

This dealership makes you feel like you're part of a family. Everyone was so nice and helpful! I've never have had an experience like this with a dealership before. I am so glad I was able to purchased my 2013 Optima from them. My sales Rep Rob was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you're in the market for a new car then this the place to go!

What an experience shopping for a new car. Michael actually listened to what I wanted. He was informed and had a great sense of humor. He said he would drive something around that matched my many requirements. When I saw the car pull up, I thought Mike made a mistake. It was stunning and had the exact features I need. I thought the problem would be the price. That beautiful car, all features - I thought it was out of my price range. I got ready for disappointment when we were about to discuss specifics. I wasn't disappointed. This much car at this price blew the other dealers away. Also, Mike and the fine staff at KIA Wallingford were top notch. Friendly and no games. I would highly recommend the dealer and brand to anyone looking for a friendly, fun, surprising car experience! By the way, the car drives beautiful and is loaded with tech, comfortable great on gas.

Salesmen was nice but be very careful with this companies finance department. When I decided to buy a car I asked if they would go through my credit union and was told they have a good relationship with my credit union and would shop around to get me the best rate.

With a credit score above 800 with all three reporting agencies they returned with a loan for 5.19% from Bank of America. I also have a credit monitoring service and only received credit check warnings from 4 banks performing a credit check and my credit union was not one of the institutions so they did not even try and lied to my face.

I stopped at my local credit union today and will be locking in a 3.19% rate for the same loan term. As soon as Bank of America receives the car title my credit union will process the loan and this will be behind me. It also makes me wonder what other items they were dishonest about that I did not catch. This is my first and last car purchased through Executive.
