Carolyn is phenomenal! Super helpful and kind. I ve had many projects on my house this last year, but this particular transaction made my life so much easier. She is very responsive and goes the extra mile. She helped me choose carpet to match my interior paint and flooring colors, making sure I d be happy and my home world look beautiful. The plush feels amazing! I am incredibly happy with the product and her service!
I purchased and had installed luxury vinyl flooring from Carolyn. On April 5, 2018, I informed her of an issue with some of the planks having a noticeably different sheen. Today is September 14, 2018 and Carolyn has done nothing to resolve the issue.
The issue is not with the installation, but the product itself. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that only the retailer can submit a claim.
Soooo, why hasn t Carolyn submitted one? Doesn t matter now I m taking her to court.

Carolyn set my world straight. I just moved to Chanhassen from Wisconsin and was trying to get Home Depot in to do my measurements. Continued fail after fail. One of the real estate agents at my closing suggested I call Excelsior Paint and Design. She said that Carolyn could most likely help me out if I wanted carpet installed before my movers came (which was 10 days). I stopped by the store and met with Kathy who was very helpful and professional. That afternoon (Friday before Memorial weekend), Carolyn came over at 4:30 and measured my space. She told me she could help me out. My carpet was ripped out and installed within 6 days of meeting Carolyn. I honestly don t think I have ever received this kind of customer service before. And, the price was competitive with Home Depot. I got a better carpet, in 6 days (I would have waited a month for HD) and with personal service. Not sure where you can find that these days. Highly recommend them. When I need blinds, this is where I will go!!
Our family appreciates all the quality products we have purchased at Excelsior Paint and Design. The staff at EP&D takes the time to hear your ideas and ask the right questions that allow them to share your vision. They then go to work making sure you have a great selection to choose from. We recently worked with Carolyn and her staff to select two wallpaper patterns for our home. She and her staff were so on-point with their selections, and they were even open on a Sunday so we could take our time looking. We love our new wallpapered rooms. We would encourage all of our friends to visit Carolyn and Bob's EP&D showroom to really see what is available in the world of design!

Carolyn and her team at Excelsior Paint and Design are wonderful!! As DIY-ers its sometimes hard to hire out for projects, but Carolyn made it a great experience for us. She brought flooring samples to our house, made design recommendations, took extra time to answer all our questions, and made us completely confident in our purchase. Her installer was extremely professional and did an excellent job.
On top of that, they've helped us with paint selections and I truly appreciate their recommendations and design help.
I look forward to working with them again on future projects.

THANK YOU SCOTT! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is extremely rare to find a store with real customer service. This is one. During the Pandemic this store provides exceptional CURBSIDE SERVICE for paint and supplies. Scott was professional, polite, helpful and fun to work with.
The owner, Carolyn, was very helpful in color selection, and came to my home several times with samples boards to make sure we chose paint shades that would match my carpet and fireplace. All the employees offer great customer service.

They charged me $65.00 for a quart of stain that they matched for me Sherwin Williams does not charge for a stain match. They did a very good job in getting the color correct
I could literally spend days in this place! They have a great selection of all finishes!
