The restaurant is in the center of Bolgheri. The location is nice with the possibility of dining outdoors. The menu is full of typical products and the wine list looks like an encyclopedia. The food is great and the staff friendly. The only flaw ... we expected more generous portions in proportion to the prices.

Very slow service, we waited half an hour for the starter and almost two hours for the main course which then arrived cold at all. When we tried to point out, politely, that the food was cold we were told badly that it wasn't true. Too bad, years ago it was fine, I went back a year ago and I had the same problem of endless waiting times, I wanted to try again and it went wrong!

Very good restaurant, high price category but the price is worth the high quality food! The service is very professional and extremely friendly, calm and relaxed, very accommodating! It is advisable to reserve in advance by phone. The antipasti are delicious, as are the dishes with tartufo! Excellent Tuscan cuisine that cannot be found everywhere. Absolutely appropriate price-performance ratio. We would love to come back and will definitely recommend bolgheri piu!

Nice restaurant with lots and lots of local wines open. They have a wine shop so all good local wines are mostly open for tasting. Food is nice good level but not exceptional. I had the filet. Which was nice but not "melting" on my tong. Brockante atmosphere

Beautiful place, delicious dishes and staff of an out of the ordinary kindness. The waiter's GENTILUOMO BOLGHERESE T-shirt is perfectly suited to his personality.
Also very attentive to allergies.

Location very nice and particular, with attention to detail. Traditional Tuscan food but above all quality without mentioning the wide choice of excellent wines! Fair price for the quality that is offered. The owner and staff very kind and professional!

To be in Bolgheri in the square I would say excellent. The cost is high but the food is good, and the service is courteous and professional. The wait between starter and main course was a bit long, but it was Saturday and we went without a reservation.

Very bad! We spent a lot on eating tavern food. We were a group of 12, on Thursday evening without a reservation so we entered the first place without inquiring. Mixed appetizer with salami, various croutons and some strips of cheese. Bottled wine but four bottles of the house, two bottles of beer, then a chianina for two paid sixty euros some the first, I a portion of baked vegetables. Some then took the dessert, some coffee and bitter but not all.
The starter was passable even if scarce, we divided the croutons into two-three pieces to be able to taste all of them. My neighbor's wild boar pasta was poor in quality and cold, they had just put the hot sauce on top. Other passable pastes. The vegetables tasted stale. The steak was worth a third of the price. Tasteless, poorly cooked and of poor quality.
In the end the bill: obviously we divided the total and I took a hit! 35 euros to eat an appetizer with three slices of salami and ham, two half canapes and a flake of cheese served with normal quality honey!
I'm sorry because Bolgheri is gorgeous and visiting people deserve a better welcome. I will never go back and I will take care not to recommend it to my friends but also to those who ask me where to eat since I live in the area!

Original restaurant in the center of bolgheri ... professional and calm master explains every food with passion ..... homemade picci with bacon cherry tomatoes and artichokes .... paccheri with chianina and parmesan ragout .... cut for 2 with boiled herbs and baked potatoes .... coconut mousse and chestnut flour tart with chestnut jam to try !! 70 euros .... we don't drink wine.

We ate well .. excellent pappardelle with wild boar ... pity that we waited over 1 hour and a half for the second and that the waitress (as well as the owner's wife) is not very suitable for being in the public ... WHEN YOU DECIDE TO WORK AT PUBLIC YOU DO IT BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT ... a smile should be natural and the answers should be given with kindness and education !!!!!

How nice this restaurant is! A delightful spot in one of the most beautiful towns in Italy! All great. Even the staff!

Restaurant with strengths and weaknesses. Reservation and reception ok, even if they seemed a bit confused in having people seated before eight in the evening. Orders ok and first courses ok. Tagliata di cinta, Florentine and Tomahawk especially very good. Unfortunately perhaps due to too many people or lack of staff some dishes arrived late as well as additional bottles of water and sweets and coffee. Not everything went smoothly for the bill either. If you are not in large companies and you are not in a hurry, everything will be great!

It is impossible not to go for a walk in Bolgheri, especially in the evening or in the afternoon. In this place you can taste wines of the area, such as the sea camp, the Sassicaia, Gualdo al Tasso, and all the wines of the area, accompanied by delicious croutons and cold cuts

The truth is that if you stop in Bolgheri for lunch one place is the other. They are all beautiful and dear. We choose the most normal.

Me and my Tuscan boyfriend order a mixed cutting board and two glasses of Bolgheri.
The appetizer is a mix of delicatessen and cheese. What convinces me the least is the Cinta Senese mortadella that does not smell of mortadella. The divine wine.

We can't order the dessert because it's hot and we're full.
To recap: perfect place, friendly service, great food, savory bill. At the end of lunch I was intoxicated. My boyfriend who went to the cashier called me to leave and I didn't even hear him. He had to call me!

We had a great time, menu with excellent choice, even with gluten-free option, my celiac child enjoyed very much, the only drawback is the external environment with asphalt and concrete flooring with tables kept in some way in balance, really poorly coordinated with the local excellence.

Picturesque town with very nice little shops and restaurants. Fantastic drive through the longest cypress alley in the world. The only negative is that the wines from Bolgheri are often much cheaper than on the ground.

A village that excites. When you arrive at this restaurant, the welcome of the staff and then the explanation of the dishes made by the owner, makes you want to eat everything he offers you. I ate a meat tartare that I had never tasted so well seasoned. The delicacy of ravioli with the right truffle. I really enjoyed the wine produced by the owner.

A nice way to have lunch in a beautiful village. Despite being sold out in Bolgheri, with a little patience we ate excellent typical cold cuts with a nice atmosphere.
