It is a pleasure doing business with PROFESSIONALS. From the moment the staff member Roxanne) answered the phone to the time I said goodbye to the Technician (Lucas) the experience was pleasant and you could tell that EVERYONE knew how to listen to the problem and how to prepare to fix the problem. Lucas was respectful of the premises making certain that he did not dirty anything in the house. He was also knowledgeable and informative. He took pictures of the problem and took the time to thoroughly go over every issue and explain how it would be repaired. They came on a Friday and did the repairs the following Monday. We called them in for a 2nd opinion (which they provided free of charge) and they repaired the problem for 10% of the first company's quote. They will do all of our HVAC work in the future.
Our heroes at Excel Air in Escondido, CA saved us from the heat. Wyatt and Frankie install8a new AC unit and Furnace in our mobile home. They were prompt, friendly and patient with all our questions. Everyone in the office was friendly and answered all our questions even though we popped in at closing time. The cost was reasonable and we even got a senior discount!

Finally decided to get A/C. Alex explained all the options available and answered all our questions. Robbie and crew were timely, kept me informed of their progress, and kept the overall work area clean of debris. New unit cools my 2100 sq ft house quickly. Only concern is with noise from vent adjacent to the main unit which is the room we spend the most time in. Also like the smaller condenser installed in side yard.

I recently had my summer tune-up for my furnace and AC unit performed by Excel Air. I really like this company. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and friendly and they are always able to send someone out very quickly. Steven Medina came out to inspect and perform some maintenance on my system. He was very knowledgeable and took the extra time to explain the work he performed and he gave me some excellent advice on how to maintain my system and keep it running at optimal performance. I'll will be using this company again for my next tune-up.
Steven called ahead and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was extremely pleasant to talk with. He explained in detail the work he was doing and diagnosed the problem promptly. After completing the repair he continued with the service on the unit inside and out. I retired from the service business and know a pro when I see one at work. Steven is definitely a pro.
I just happened to be in town visiting, when I received a call about doing the summer tune-up. We were able to get the appointment scheduled the next morning and I was given a call 30 minutes ahead of the serviceman, Leo's arrival. He arrived and checked everything, which I greatly appreciated since I now live in Utah and not San Diego. The entire transaction went very smoothly.

Professional, honest and knowledgeable. Our a/c stopped and we thought we needed a capacitor or something, hoping our antique unit wasn't shot. Travis came out and checked everything only to find a pincher bug under the contactor. He removed it and everything worked again. He only charge us the initial inspection fee which was alsi reasonable, and would have been applied to repairs if we had needed any. Great guy!
Excel Air was able to provide an estimate same day as well as install new Central Air in about 9 hours. They were on time, reliable and communicative which isn t always easy to find these days.
Excel Air replaced our heater and a/c units 3 years ago. We were very happy and impressed with this company then and even more so now. These guys are great. They are efficient and thorough. My house did not have existing AC and it would get to 92 degrees inside my house. After they came and installed the Daikin unit, my house is sitting pretty at 75 degrees. They are considerate of your home. They put on the little booties on their shoes as to not dirty your floors. They ask questions/permission before doing anything that would be invasive in the home. Any concerns I had they immediately addressed. I am completely satisfied with choosing Excel Air as my HVAC experts.

We've used Excel several times and finally signed up for a maintenance contract. The timing was good because the day before the tech arrived our A/C blower started making a terrible noise. The tech arrived on time and the company's communications were excellent in providing reminders and updates. The tech diagnosed the issue as a blown heater fan/bearing. We decided to replace the whole unit. When the work was done they team went the extra mile to make sure everything was done professionally and to our satisfaction. We had an issue with the install, but Excel came back the next day to resolve and get the system up and running. We would recommend Excel for overall HVAC work.

We made an emergency call to Excel Air on Thurs., July 26 because our heat pump was not working and all we were getting was warm air. We had company in our home and were desperate! They worked us in that very day and gave us excellent service.
We have been using Excelair for over 6 years now. We purchase a 3 year maintenance contract in which they come out every 6 months and give the entire HVAC system a thorough check. Over the years we've had a number the technicians do the work. I have an engineering back ground and I watch them work. All have been thorough and honest. Today we had Steven Medina do the inspection. He was particularly detailed and capable. We are very happy with their services. Our system is 19 years old and we will contract with Excelair to install replacement equipment when the time comes. They have exceeded our expectations.
I would highly recommend this company. They are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. When you purchase a new A/C or Furnace they will keep you in the loop every step of the way including the permit process. Unlike the company we used when we bought our A/C unit who lost our permit.

Richard, Oscar, and Kendra have been beyond the way professionals should be. I dealt with each of these individuals on different aspects or stages of my HVAC needs, and each person made the experience as seamless and easy as possible. Unlike the 4 other HVAC contractors that I tried contacting during one of the worst "Heat Waves" of all time, Kendra or Oscar answered my phone calls 24/7 instead of an answering machine like the others. 3 of the others tool up to 3 days to return my calls, and 1 I still haven't heard back from. Richard jumped through hoops to come out and figure out my issue with a 5 hour notice, and 2 other contractors couldn't figure out. Excel saved the day.

I normally do not post a review and never post a second but the service we received was above and beyond anything we have experienced before. It has been months after they came and worked on my HVAC system by replacing the 30 year old ducting and restrictive vents.
