Mooresville Ice Cream Co Review

I always enjoy locally made goodies and theirs is one of the best tasting ice cream.

My wife and I went in on a Saturday night after dinner. First impressions, staff clearly didn't want to be there. Especially the girl who was working man, suck it up and put on a smile. RBF is an understatement. The ice cream was good. I had the Espresso Chip which was the perfect after dinner flavor. My wife enjoyed herself too.

Went in w/our 2 grandsons. Place was busy, one employee working(1 girl on a stool and a small child behind the counter). She was friendly enough, but I ordered 2 scoops for the kids and she only did 1 scoops. The place was not very clean and there weren't any paper towels in the bathroom.

Some of the best ice cream around. We go there every time we're in mooresville.

This place is awesome and they have all kinds of different flavors cones and toppings. This ice cream shop is the epitome of the Old Country ice cream shop on the corner of town. It just has that old-world feel to it not to mention it is absolutely delicious the people here are really nice it's a very kid friendly environment all around a good spot to hang out at if you're ever in the area I strongly suggest going by for a cone or a cup of ice cream any day of the week.

Ice cream is always delicious. The staff is not very friendly. I believe every young peron needs to work at Chick fil A to get customer service skills.

Great ice creams especially the Charleston Sea Salt Caramel but has had issues staying in stock on popular flavors this summer. Love to spend my money locally.

We go here often. Many flavors are always out of stock. I wish they would either just take them down or get them back in stock. I recommend the extra cream flavors. They are the best flavors I have tried.

A great small business with alot of great options. They do not have any non dairy options though but that is just like most places. They have a huge chalk board to pick from. A great ice cream place and you get to support a small business.

Amazing! I got the mint chocolate chip and it was so good. Really tastes homemade! Everywhere I go always tastes the same but I ve never had any better than this!

Ice cream was awesome!(Ice cream is always awesome..lol) Small place and a little crowded but overall the kids and I were very satisfied with our choice.

Good place to get some DeLuxe ice cream. I had no idea it was from Mooresville before coming here. It could be a little cleaner but other than that it is a well run store.

People will hate me for giving 3 stars here. I know, I know it's MICC. Been here forever. So their regular ice cream is mediocre. Milkshakes are barely average. Just ok. This year they raised their prices quite a bit. Not that great of a value anymore. The manager, older fella, who works there is not Mr. Customer Service and the high school kids are nice enough, but look exhausted. The place is jamming when it's warm out, so be prepared to wait. With that said, it's super cute inside. And if you find their premium brand Front Porch, it's excellent! Served in pints.

Best ice cream around! We came here everyday for a week straight! My brother lives in North Carolina but i am from Iowa and already look forward to coming back this summer! Even when they were busy they were fast and a very nice staff! Highly recommend it here if you'r looking for a nice summer treat!

Ice cream was good, but the lady serving seemed like she didn't want to be there. Not friendly at all and we felt rushed out. Doesn't make me want to go back.

Not able to try this because we showed up at 6:30, when the site said they were open until 8, and they were closed. Very disappointing.

Air conditioning needs some work but besides that it was great! Cotton candy is fantastic!

It's ice cream so yay but the service was just sad and the ice cream and cones are just the same stuff you could buy in the store.

Best ice cream. Reminded me of going there in the early 90's and had my picture in the Tribune. It was just like I remembered. My sis says banana is best but I think cookies and cream is better.

Very good ambiance for an ice cream parlor. I'm used to a very creamy iced cream and this was not. This may just be a regional thing as I am not from the area. 2 on taste 4 on overall feel averages to a 3.

So disappointing. Made a trip here based on good reviews. They were out of almost half the flavors listed. Finally decided on a hot fudge sundae, and the girl pulls out a plastic smuckers hot fudge container that you buy at the grocery store. Ended up with chocolate ice cream, and half way through it was icy, like freezer burn. Will not go back.

Not the best ice cream!! The young man who worked there today was nice but rushed me and the girl was okay she also rushed me! I probably won t go back!!

The ice cream has the smooth texture of gelato. It's worth the trip to Mooresville.

I am originally from Hershey Pennsylvania .. saying that I grew up on ice cream is an understatement .. the 1st time I was here I had Nana's Banana ice cream and I instantly fell in love ! This place has become my families summer staple .. the staff is always smiling and more than willing to help answer any question you may have .. I am sure the other flavors of ice cream are just as good but I can't bring myself to try anything else because Nana's Banana is just that good ! Everytime I leave I can't wait until it's time to go back for more

They were out of half the flavors so we were disappointed. They didn't have any no sugar added flavors so I got to watch every one else eat their ice cream which they enjoyed.

Great ice cream- lots of flavors and toppings available. It s such a fun place to go in downtown, beautiful historic building (check out the ceiling if you get a chance).

Love the old fashion appeal and the tin ceiling is beautiful! The staff is very friendly and sociable. Before we made our ice cream choices we were able to get samples. It was a hard choice as so many were tasty, but I got mint chocolate chip and my daughter got Cookie Monster.

Deluxe ice cream retail parlor in mooresville serves the best ice cream at a reasonable cost for their many flavors and cones or cups. I love the black cherry. The only down side of this company is you cant buy their ice cream cartons at amy local retail stores in mooresville area anymore. Isnt that crazy? You have to buy them at the ice cream parlor in downtown ,Mooresville at a higher cost than I used to buy at food lion. I literally love most of their flavors and would buy it weekly if only you could find it in a grocery store!!!

Local creamery in the heart of downtown Mooresville. Great selection of ice creams. So hard to pick just one. They'll even do 2 flavors in 1 scoop.
