Airport is really good but the immigration officers are not that good they are asking every time some stupid question what doesn't even make any sense. With out that everything is good and the custom officer is all so same

Nice place , but need more proper facilities with the new renovation. Toilet facilities or cleanliness need to look into regularly.

This seems to called as an international airport.
Airport was clean but the biggest disappointed was mosquitoes. There was a lot of mosquitoes.

Been rated as the best improved airport of India. The roof of the airport flaunts bengali script words from the verses of Rabindranath Tagore. The airport has one extra layer of security where the luggage here is scanned before it is sent in for check in. The food lounge is well dressed with major food outlets.

The airport has improved a lot in past few years. The best part is that it is clean, it is big, with many security check in counters and decent eating options.

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport is one of the oldest Airport in the India. It is named before Shri Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The airport is a major centre for flights to Northeast India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Southeast Asia and the Middle Eastern cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha. Kolkata Airport won the title of Best Improved Airport in the Asia-Pacific region awarded by the Airport Council International.The airport has two parallel runways, Terminal 1 and the Terminal 2. The airport's new integrated terminal T2 is spread over 2,510,000 sq ft and can handle 25 million passengers annually, compared to the previous terminals' capacity of five million. The terminal is an L-shaped structure. The airport has a well-established facility of prepaid taxis and air-conditioned buses connecting it to the city centre. As part of the larger modernisation programme, a flyover at Nagerbazar and an entry ramp on VIP Road have also been constructed. Parking facilities at the new terminal include two underground parking levels accommodating 3000 cars, as well as an outdoor car parking which can handle an additional 2000 cars. The Infrastructure of the Airport is very clean. After all the above details, one can say that is is one of the finest airport of the India.

One of the busiest airports and it caters for both domestic as well as international flights. Presently it has a single terminal.
Inside it's very clean with adequate waiting and dining facilities. Lounges are available.

There is a pre-paid taxi counter in the front, but you can also catch AC volvo buses that are frequent and comfortable at a nominal price.

Make sure to come early as the queue to check in maybe long at times. However Kiosks are available. It isn't a silent airport yet.

Out of the 2 lifts while entering the main building, one was not functioning.

Nice experience... Everything is in a systematic way, but everyone knows about pop of India... Never follow rules...

So far as checking and security are concerned it is ok.but the food quality of the stalls really deteriorate.

All basic amenities are available . A decent number of food outlets and a few shops . No chemist. Smoking area closed due corona . One restaurant cum lounge.
For a metropolitan City it could have been a better airport

Netaji Subhash International Airport is one of the finest airports out there. The Domestic Lounge is great with a lot of options. Please visit the lounge if you have a little tine to spare.

Kolkata airport. A small but nice one. All places are neat and clean. All STAF are cooperative and their service is very good. All places are well decorated and modern amenities. Rest room are so clean and well maintained. Some food stall are their and their food are fresh and comparatively good price. Out side the airport a very good and sufficient TAXi service.

Came a little earlier and enjoyed chilled bear with crispy fish fingers at Ultra Bar... A very passenger friendly and hassle free airport.

The worst place to be if you have a an early morning flight say somewhere at 0400 hours in the morning. None of the food outlets are open at this point in time and you are kept starving. Atleast a few outlets be kept operational for such flight timings.

Good arrangements, flight departure and arrival announcements, good staffs, well behaved security personnel.

Not Acctually happy with the service becoz i could not find sanitizer any were in the airport.

Good in rush hours but too boring if one have to spend 2-3 hours after checking as the airport lacks shops

It's a very good, clean and well managed airport I found in India. But few staffs behavior was not up to its mark.

This is the best airport I have ever been. There's enough space in the terminal area and it never felt crowded. There are duty free shops both at departure as well as arrival of international terminal. The airport is very well connected with Howrah railway station. There's shuttle bus service charging Rs.50 for the same running 24x7. Earlier there was no bus connectivity during late night. But now there are shuttle bus services running for the whole night after 1 hr. interval.
Facilities available- 1. Connectivity with Howrah Railway station 24x7. 2.Intercity bus will drop at Gate no.1or3 from there you can walk up to the airport terminal. 3. Lounges at both domestic and international terminal. 4. Clean washroom. 5.Duty free shop at both arrival and departure area of international flights. 6.Parking available on chargeable basis.

Spacious, neat , car parking with good ambience , arrival gates need to operate systematically.

Interior looks great and authorities are really helpful.

Well maintained, clean, fast in service, passenger communication system is good.

Nice airport. You can proceed for domestic transfer from inside of the airport. Washrooms in departure terminal can be maintained in term of cleanness. Departure terminal is relatively big with many shops including bar and eateries.

In recent times, this airport has made tremendous improvements. It's a major hub especially in bringing the NE Indian cities and towns closer to international destinations. It's neat and tidy, perhaps there is room for greater international connectivity. Limited duration free WiFi is available. Personnel are helpful.

One of the Best Airport in India , try to reach before at least 2 hours.

The airport has the infrastructure now but it shows that its not being managed professionally. Unless taken care of, it will look jaded and old very soon. Its a humongous change since the days of the old airport but one can still do a lot to bring further life into it!

Luggage delivery too late. Luggage from three-four different flights delivered on one belt inspite of having 7-8 belts in total.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is one of the best airports in India. Neat and clean environment. Everything is very well arranged. Service quality (boarding, immigration, baggage delivery) is very good. All kind of facilities like wheel chair accessibility, changing currency, taxi service is available. The greenery in front of the airport has further enhanced its beauty. After renovation the airport becomes awesome with almost everything that one can need in an international level airport, amazing. The airport has very good options in terms of shopping and food. Duty free is good too. Signage is proper and the story is very tidy. Recommended.

Size is big but, rest I can't say..

I had to use the wash room and, will say worst ever I have visited at even some small airport.
Washrooom - Smelly, dirty, water on floor and worrrst..

Too many mosquitoes all around waiting area / gate number 9.

A very well and soothing decoration this airport has. It really feels so good to be here than any other airport. The people of Bengal are very gentle and calm.

Not up to the mark to IGI, but convenient. Waiting areas only have chairs, retiring rooms and beds available on payment, smoking room available on both floor. Lounges also not at par with Delhi lounges.

International class , well decorated ,very well lightning and Eco friendly airport. Food shop and drinks shops are ok with their quality

Great looks and nice architecture. One of the biggest and busiest airport. Very clean with professionalism in managing. There is big ramp, ground floor for the arrival, first floor used for the departure. Parking area is nice, charge is Rupees 100 for two hours. Food court with a wide range of choice of food for all types of mood. Great maintenance. Stuffs are good. Also there is a Great view while waiting for boarding.

Clean and big. many taxi services are available just outside, which saved our pain in a**, when mobile was fully discharged.

One of the biggest airport in the Eastern India. The luggage and security check in was smooth . AAI and security officers were very cooperative.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata- The 5th busiest airport in India. Nice interior with Bengali alphabets printed on ceiling and used entirely as theme everywhere. Waiting area is well maintained, Food court, smoking area available inside the airport.

Arrival- Immigration, Baggage Collection, Custom... All are very smooth.
Departure- Check-In, Immigration, Security, Boarding... All are very smooth & comfortable.

Arrival and Departure at different Levels or Floors, Ground floor for arrival & 1st floor for Departure. Also Separate International and Domestic Terminals both for Arrival and Departure.

UBER and OLA have the service at the gate itself. Also parking area is nice

I think one of the best airport i visited in india.very clean

The new Kolkata airport is built really well. The cleanliness of the new airport is well maintained. The shopping complex built inside is also lavish. One can really enjoy the lounge access in this airport. The directions to various gates, toilets and other important services are well built and properly placed. All the flights by different operators are operated from the same terminal. One can easily access free and clean drinking water facility located at all the places inside the airport terminal.

Clean and big. The new terminal is exactly what was needed in a city like Kolkata.
