Do not buy any transmissions from this company. I have had to deal with their warranty department several times. The transmission broke a week after I had it installed. Then 8 months later.

Buyer beware: Do not return your core transmission until you install the new one and make sure it works well. On transmission number 4 for the same vehicle from this company. All have been defective, we own the largest shop in our area and have lost money because we have had to install and remove these transmissions once every 2 weeks. Don't even last 200 miles, and are slipping and jerking. Isn't good for business when we have to keep telling our customer I'm sorry I can't give you back your truck because the new transmission is also bad. This job is for one of the largest electric company's in the world, would hate to lose them over this issue. Honestly wish I would have read these reviews before ordering this from Auto zone.

Not impressed so far. Wrong transmission software installed from them. Not an installation issue and I have to pay someone else to install the new computer body into the transmission from wrong software by them

I purchased an ETE remanufactured 4L60E in August 2015 through RockAuto.com. In July 2018, and with less than 15,000 miles on the transmission, it failed. However, Sari at ETE was awesome in helping to fix the situation.

Very Professional, Excellent customer service, good location, friendly staff, keep up the great work. I highly recommend.

Paid $1700 for a transmission that dont even work, called and they treat you like ur stupid. The transmission has the wrong parts in it even tho i gave them the vin and they screwed it up, so now i am fighting on getting it fixed and customer service sucks. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT EITHER

Worst job I ever had. Very immature and juvenile environment, training is mediocre at best. It is a favoritist atmosphere, with the "cool kids" gossiping about the "outsiders" , causing tension between employees. The good notes.....my supervisor, Jeannette Verran and my co-worker, Latoya Bush, were literally amazing. The good pay is not worth the stress. Avoid this job.

I work at my dad's transmission shop in Columbus, Ohio. ETE has always been excellent in our dealings with them. Specifically Jeremy, he has gone above and beyond for me twice, and really helped me out with some agitating situations. He showed me that he cared for me as a customer no matter the size of our shop, and that means a lot. We have bought a lot of transmisisons from them, and will continue to do so.

Avoid. They cheated my mechanic on warranty labor! So I've paid for the same job twice. Now I have to take to a transmission shop to fix the seals, fix the sloppy shifting and put in the correct torque converter for this engine.
2 transmissions both leak as you see the marks on my driveway. This is a gas engine they installed a diesel torque converter which has to low of a stall rpm since a diesel torques out lower then a 460 gas engine so that hurts performance. It shifts way to soft for towing so I don't expect the bands to hold up. My stock transmission had a firm shift from the factory which is better for longevity n towing. Had to charge back because they just wanted to keep swapping parts and now my trucks been down from November thru end of January and now I have to take it to a transmission shop to rebuild their rebuild. They offered me a random core laying around but not my original core which actually only needed a torque converter so that's not fair. I thought it was better to replace the whole unit but I was wrong.
They are also associated with Best Buy Transmission in Florida so buyer beware.

On my 3rd transmission from them and this one is starting to have problems. The customer service is great though.

Update I got in touch with the email they provided in their response and they responded to one of my emails and that was it. Not impressed

Stay far away from these crooks. All the positive reviews are from employees which is not what Google reviews is intended for. Urging employees to leave positive reviews to boost ratings is a BIG red flag. Friend worked here years back and it was all about being part of a certain clique . If I could rate a 0 I would. Informed junk parts are machined Way past tolerances which is why they warranty more than they sell. Warranty work would come in by the hundreds in a week. They force production at the expense of quality. When cases are junk they ream servo bores on EVERY transmission to repair them. Only transmissions from factory known to have defects are recommended to be reamed. They do it to ALL of them. Also, the bushings that are supposed to be placed in these units should be steel. They use brass bushings. Everyone with mechanical knowledge knows that a steel pin riding on soft brass constantly, eventually wears faster than a steel pin riding in an aluminum case. Electronics should all be replaced. Especially for the prices they charge. Instead, for example on 4L60e units they wash them in parts solvent. Harnesses old and brittle are reused with the same lock-up valves.Then they train employees to tap solenoids on a steel bench and hear for the pintle to move. If you hear it it is considered good. These solenoids have thousands of miles on them. There is no way of telling if it is tired or the bore inside is worn. Separator plates are reused and drilled to place inserts. Shift kits are installed to hide flaws. Employees are way underpaid and they are only concerned in making money for Lawrence s race car. Do yourself and STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

My transmission only lasted 4 yrs, I have pleaded for any help or assistance as it should definitely last longer than that. They don't want to hear or listen to anything past the 3 year warranty. The world is tough already to have to pay so much for a new transmission and have to turn around and try to replace it so soon.

Love my job at ETE REMAN, i was bless to meet a great woman 6yrs ago and now 5yrs marries with 3 amazing kids . so many memories and blessing. I love my co-workers and my boss they show how greatful they are to have me on there team as well with any other employees.. And a huge thanks to lawrance for ordering my motor to fix my car.

The experience I've had is that I got in place with a lot of attitude and that you learn new things every day since they allow you to grow and learn and thanks to this company I have a good job and I will learn many more things, and get ahead, with My colleagues

We installed an ETE unit in a Jeep for one of our best customers. The unit had a leak from what appeared to be the front pump and ETE was great about shipping out a new unit to replace it with. Customer service was fantastic. Both Jake in sales and Jen in customer service did a fantastic job.

My 2 transmission shops have been installing ETEReman transmissions for years. They have an excellent warranty and service.

I have bought a few transmission from them for customers. They are quick at shipping, quick to pick up the core and super nice on the phone. The one time I had an issue we fixed it ourselves, we contacted them and let them know the issue and we had a check to compensate for the part and labor within a few days. They are my first spot to look for units at.

Purchased three transmissions of multiple makes all three were defective had to be warranted including one being defective out of the box. I find it hard to believe they are still in business
