Avoid. They cheated my mechanic on warranty labor! So I've paid for the same job twice. Now I have to take to a transmission shop to fix the seals, fix the sloppy shifting and put in the correct torque converter for this engine.
2 transmissions both leak as you see the marks on my driveway. This is a gas engine they installed a diesel torque converter which has to low of a stall rpm since a diesel torques out lower then a 460 gas engine so that hurts performance. It shifts way to soft for towing so I don't expect the bands to hold up. My stock transmission had a firm shift from the factory which is better for longevity n towing. Had to charge back because they just wanted to keep swapping parts and now my trucks been down from November thru end of January and now I have to take it to a transmission shop to rebuild their rebuild. They offered me a random core laying around but not my original core which actually only needed a torque converter so that's not fair. I thought it was better to replace the whole unit but I was wrong.
They are also associated with Best Buy Transmission in Florida so buyer beware.
