Exquisite food, awesome and guest-focused Have you had that fish before? No? It's very bony, you won't like it. Have the lamb chops service. The hummus and the cold appetizer plate tzatziki and two other spreads I cannot remember were excellent introductions, and a temptation to eat too much of them.
These were followed by grilled (?) octopus. I enjoyed it, although I'd never eaten it before. I had once heard, In a new restaurant, order food you don't like. If they succeed, you will have won a new food as well as a new restaurant. I hadn't ordered the appetizers our more knowledgeable host had but this principle made me eager to try it, as it was one of their specialties, strongly recommended by the waiter.
The lamb chops: four perfectly cooked pieces of art, accompanied with a thick tzatziki dressing on the side like that for the appetizer, their tzatziki is not thin and flowing, no, but a rich, thick spread, a meal on its own and, curiously, french fries (topped with a toupee of shredded cheese).
For dessert, the salted caramel baklava was astounding, and the decaf cappuccino was good.
I could not normally afford this restaurant their fish is flown in daily from the Mediterranean but I will take my wife there for the lamb chops, at least.
