It's a nice water park but the prices for food are to high

Only complaint is that the military tickets were $35 instead of $32 as advertised on the website.. My family had an amazing time!! A lot to do for adults & children..
Next time I will try to go during the week, as the lines were long on the Saturday we went. Overall lots of fun.

Awesome! I have always wanted to come to waw and it was great! but here are a few tips you need to no to make it a five star trip.
1 Go with a friend.
2 get the $2 kids cup with 50 cent refills.
3 Eat before you come. The food is expensive.
4 Ride the barrel side there are 5 min or less lines.
5 Come back to rides that have long rides.
To all the people that hated this experience you shouldn't have brought the little kids this is A PERFICT EXPERINE for 10-20 year olds.

Where to start. This organization is nothing but a greedy business. I have been bringing my children there for 19 years getting summer passes. You have to pay astronomical prices for everything. We used to pack a lunch, and go everyday with our small children. Then, they decided you couldn't bring your own food in, and you have to pay to store your cooler outside the park. The last time we went, my son grew out of his bathing suit, so we bought one at the park. It was $50. Once my son got in the water, it was too big, and there was no way to make it tighter. So, we went back to the gift store, they told us they couldn't exchange it even with the receipt. And they didn't give us our 20% discount with our membership. We will finish our passes this summer, but we will never go back. Poor customer service, and all they want to do is make money. Eat before you go. Do not buy their over-priced food or products.

The only reason why it's not 5 star is because there is not much like 4 to 6 slides not including small ones but the wave pool here is really fun they do have regular pools and kiddie pools so yeah there is a bit of everything

Kept closing rides long wait and hard for two adults to enjoy the rides

Super fun for the entire family. Lots of things to do for the little ones as well as the thrill seekers. We will be returning soon.

Nice atmosphere, plenty of places to stop and sunbathers. Prices are a little high but still in line with most amusement parks.

a fight broke out and the cops came. the people there were very rude and were pushing me and my boyfriend so they could cut in live, this was at rides and when we were getting food. other then that we had a great time and the rides themselves are a lot of fun as long as you can take 30mins-1hr of annoying people in lines for 30 seconds of fun.

What s there to say. It s wet and somewhat wild. It s clean, they let you bring coolers and everybody had a good time. No big surprises here and sometimes, that s good enough.

Great place to have fun with the kids. Only downside was a couple of lines to the rides which were slow, but some of that is expected. Overall, a great experience and not too expensive.

My family bought season passes for the Summer and it was fun the first couple of trips..
They definitely nickel and dime you for everything and I mean EVERYTHING...
ie: parking, food, drinks, even for them to hold your cooler they charge..and they will check your bags to make sure that you aren't smuggling any food in!
They will also charge you for locker usage, too, so be prepared..
I don't know where all that money goes because the park in my opinion is in dire need of a facelift, landscaping ESPECIALLY around the Lazy River..

My son and I had a great time here. In essence every daily pass purchase to enter the park is an all day pass I went out got something to eat and came back in to finish fun at the waterpark. The food inside the park it's not bad but as most amusement park it is expensive.

Make sure you plan the day ahead due to some rides closing an hour before closing but other than that had a great time

The territory is plentiful, the choice of water slides is also good, but everything is already "parastkurvato" .. there are fudkotry but again the choice of food and drink is limited, to bring food and drinks is prohibited. They were here on Saturday, a problem with places - full of people. So the conclusion was made that you need to be on weekdays if possible. And be sure to have a good mood! :)

The lines to long n drink n food to high n the scales for rides are not cool u pay price u should be able to ride at own risk

The price for a single day admission is pretty high, but the park is fun and they let you put that admission towards a season pass. They installed scales this year on two of their slides and they actually weigh the riders in front of the whole line and the attendant made no effort to be discrete when she sent some people away. I felt bad for them.

We went Monday July 13th...its best to go to this park during the week when it is not as crowded. The food was terribly expensive, so you should definitely eat before you go and eat after you leave. The staff weren't very friendly I think because they have all of these college students working over the summer and they just don't care - they need their summer job...the lines weren't too terribly bad and we loved what we call "the fake beach" the wave pool - we enjoyed that a lot, in fact, we stayed in there a while it was pretty hot that day. We would certainly go back but definitely during the week. Oh yeah and to pay to store your cooler and have to go back out of the park to eat your food was ridiculous I don't see why they just don't let people take coolers in to the park and save some dang money by bringing their own food.

Great water park for the price! A few rides are old but there is fun for all ages.

Fun rides. Food not that good better to bring your own.

It's a fun little water park with quite a few attractions making the most of the space. The lazy river has become quite lovely over the years, with the landscape maturing into a space that actually resembles a river. Today was not extremely busy, so it didn't feel crowded like it sometimes does. If I have a complaint, it's the extreme high cost. You can only bring in a single bottle of unopened water, and a drink or a water is over $3. Be warned that a locker rental is $10.

Lines are really long. We had a rain check and then got rained out again and they said "Oh well..."

I just think its absolutely DISGUSTING how the owner can comment on other reviews about the park not being clean and the food being awful, but they wont comment on the situation of my broken leg, on one of THEIR slides. Their lifegaurds NEGLECTING and letting someone go down after me. NOT being able to get the wheel chair between the slides, and asking ME if i was correct position when i dispatched instead of asking if i was alright and needed medical. Do better wet n wild. I hope this establishment puts the safety of their consumers FIRST instead of the importance of their company. This is an edit to my original review. This was my first time going to Wet n Wild and it turned into a big accident. I broke my leg on the slide the twin twister. I don t know if any of the workers will tell you that because according to the people at first aid, my leg did not look broken. As it turns out at the emergency room, i have two broken bones at the joint that meets my knee. They were not able to fit the wheel chair in between the slides. AND as I was sitting in the water slide, screaming with pain, they let another person come down the water slide and crash into me. ALSO, as soon as the worker came over to me, the first he asked me was if i was in correct position when i dispatched instead of asking if i was okay, then he asked if he should call medical in an annoyed tone, assuming I was being dramatic. Of course i was in correct postition. That slide is way too fast and completely unsafe. This was the most traumatic experience I have ever been through. My elbows were being slammed against the wall and my legs kept getting knocked off each other. Corporate won t return my calls, and all they gave my family was free tickets. I think its SAFE to say, I will not be returning. I hope you all stay SAFE when going to wet n wild. If your children are not tall enough, its for good reason. I hope that by writing this review it will warn the customers because wet n wild does not want to take responsibility for my broken leg. This is the best I can do.

Great spot to cool down in the summer. Very family friendly place. Prices aren't too high inside and they let you step out to a pick nick area if you bring your own lunch and leave it in your area cooler.

Been there before and was checking to see how much it would cost to take 3 grandkids

AMAZING as usual. The staff is friendly. I love how the rides accommodate plus size people. Lots of entertainment for the entire family!!

Nice my boys said they like it! They Water Country they said more but for NC they love it.

Drove two and half hours to the park, then after I arrived they closed the park at noon due to rain. No lightning which is understandable, but RAIN. Yes you saw correctly, getting wet at the water park other than the rides it not OK. Just to make it clear it was a light drizzle of rain, all of the walk way were perfectly safe. No unsafe conditions were present when the closed the Park! I mean Nothing. What a BS excuse to close the park. There real reason is low turn out at the park. The park on sunny days if OK, the lines are long, the food inside is expensive, locker rental are outrageous, but this is common for amusement parks. What gave this park such a low rating was the BS excuse for closing the park. Light Rain is not a good excuse at a WATER PARK!

I bought the most expensive pass (the priority pass) for the season, on the web site that says you can bring up to two guests a day, but then was told no it was only a one time deal! so I ended up spending another $200 for my 3 grandchildren to go. I have definitely been to better water parks than this, and beware people they obviously do false advertisements! oh yes and when they give you the coupons it states with the highest pass ( the priority pass) you're allowed one guest per day per visit! so which one is it people? I will tell others how you scam people for money.

I want this as our first vacation of the summer! every summer, and have our same cabana also...

The lifaguards were zoned out and oblivious to poor swimmers in over their heads. They seemed more worried about looking cute. I had to save 2 different kids in 2 different pools. I feel lile they owe me a paycheck!

We had fun, did everything in about two days, they need a hotel on premises but if you're going for more than one day I recommend the season pass it's well worth it

Emerald Pointe Wet 'N Wild of Greensboro, NC is an awesome experience. I've been here before multiple times. Staff is always been friendly and professional. Facility seems well-maintained. Something for everyone there. If you don't enjoy the rides then the wave pool is laid-back, easygoing and very enjoyable. Very accommodating to people with multiple food allergies. Family-friendly atmosphere. I definitely will be going back again.

Poor food service but water attractions were OK....... A better food service program would benefit this place tremendously

I've Been Taking My Kids Here All Summer Long, They Absolutely Love It. We Purchased Season Passes And It Has Been The Best Money Spent All Year...

This place is great if it s dead. However, it is not prepared for crowds. On peak days, expect to wait in line to park, wait 20 minutes just to get in the gates, and then wait in long lines for rides. The workers have absolutely no motivation to move lines quicker and the set up for entrance is terrible. If there is a quicker line for season pass holders, then mark it as such. Today we were redirected from our place in line to the season pace holder line but when we got to that side the line was into the parking lot. Check bags sooner so people aren t held up at the ticket kiosks. The overly cautious clearance areas for slides mean longer lines. The lifeguards do not move the lines along quickly enough (We have waited in line while lifeguards flirted during the shift change). They place photographers at the bottoms of the slides therefore holding up the line even more. Never ever pay full price to come here, you will definitely feel ripped off. We got a great deal on season passes but I doubt we will buy them again. The place has great potential but is managed poorly. Spend a few extra bucks and head to Carowinds, we had much better experiences there last summer.

I got a season pass last year for my family. It worked well. Wish food was cheaper, and lines were shorter but it is a public place. Plus really close to several places to eat, so I would leave and cone back

My family and I had a blast. The guys at the popcorn chicken and seafood stand were very rude for some reason. Other than that. Our experience was great. Will be back again this summer

I purchased tickets and was looking forward to attend the park last month, being I've never been before the park was closed the day we looked forward to going. We called for a raincheck and it led straight to voicemail, they never got back so a few days later we tried calling again, voicemail AGAIN! A few days later we called again and told us to call back the next week, another voicemail. We emailed them last week and still have not heard anything. I understand being closed but trying to get ahold of just one person for a month is ridiculous! Needless to say if I ever hear from ANYONE or get my money back, I will not be going or returning!

We had a great time...food over priced...we went on a Sunday was not too crowded. We had left side wave pool cabana. The cabana was nice. We will definitely be going back.

My kids love it here!! Season passes are a great value. I would definitely recommend. Food prices are high, but that should be expected.

Smaller than I thought it would be. A little dated and not the cleanest. Rides were only opened in turns. Guess they didn't have enough lifeguards or something. Nobody is perfect but when you see a lifeguard get wheeled away, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in their ability to save you.

Food is over-priced (as usual) and not the best quality. Service was extremely slow too and lots of booths were closed.

The kids had fun but the park had some flaws. 1. Wave pool never started. We sat and swam in the area for over an hour and it never came on. 2. Very slow and long lines. 3. Not allot of attractions. 4. For the price I'd rather take the drive to Carrowinds as it's a better value overall.

I've been to several other Wet'n Wilds and this by far didn't come close to the others. For a hot day in NC and you don't want to drive to Carrowinds, this is a decent alternative.

It was a fun water park and they had so many fun water slides

The lady at the ticket counter was extremely rude, then the manager was even worse than her. The lifeguards were just as rude. We didn't let them ruin our day, but I agree with the other reviews about them being very expensive on everything. They will not allow you to leave the park either, without having to pay for parking again, another tactic to make you have to pay for things inside the park. The staff definitely drove me to my 1 star rating. They all definitely hated their jobs and it showed. Doubt I'll be back ever!

I have the premium membership so it's free parking and entry every day. This park is nice to visit for a couple hours, relax in the lazy river, and get a thrill in between laps. I would recommend going early on week days though, because it gets a little over crowded on weekends and later in the day. Do not buy a one day pass, its like 10 dollars more to go every day.

Great place, slides, and great place to spend with family

If your rained out they don't cover your parking, or cover your locker. The water was absolutely disgusting u could see the grease layer on the top. some parts were very green. Saw Band-Aids floating in water and a maxi pad. Kids area smells like piss. They close all their main attractions when ever they feel like it without telling anybody. Complete rip-off 3 bad experiences I won't be back... I spoke to management twice but they did not care.

It's a great place to take your family for some summer fun, the wave pool was the only thing i was disappointed with. The concrete is so cracked and messed up that there is no way your not going to get scraped up. Other then that my family had a blast 100 percent.

Had fun in the wave pool, danced (from new school to old school and salsa), and saw spectacular fireworks!
