Two stars because masks aren't allowed in the Wave Pool. Apparently it's for safety reasons, but even if the mask is somehow knocked off your face, isn't it better to wear it for a while than not have one at all?

A group of friends and I spent the day at Wet and Wild. To their credit, the rides are fairly fun and lines are pretty moderate on the biggest ride (daredevil drop). Lines on other rides are not quite so moderate.

What really got us was an incident of indifference to customer satisfaction. When looking for places to get food (we didn't want to pay $8 for a few chicken tenders), we asked the employee on stamp duty stamping guests so they can reenter the park if we could reenter the parking lot for free if we left to get lunch. He said yes as long as we had our parking ticket.

We ate at Arby's (a deal compared to the park) but when coming back we were told we needed to buy a new ticket. We wouldn't have left had we been told this. When talking to the supervisor (Stephanie) and then her manager (Kendra), we explained what we had been told. (We were respectful).

If we weren't college students we would definitely have been accorded a higher level of importance. Not only did they not believe us, but they also refused to check for who was working the previous shift at the stamping booth.

They told us it was our fault for believing parking reentry was free. While all good companies hold a principal that the customer is always right, I'm not asking for Wet and Wild to be a good company. I'm just asking for them to have the decency to try investigating a problem their customer is having.

In a simplified sense, you could say that we were tricked into paying for parking again: being told that it was free and then being charged anyways.

It's not about the money. It's about having decency.

Went yesterday for outta school and into the pool. First off let me say we had fun despite the nasty weather. My reason for doing this review is in hopes that someone from Emerald Pointe will actually read it. Most of the free standing pools were dirty! Wavepool, lazee river, and pirates cove were discusting! All filled with leaves and debris. The lazee river was the worst! The floats were nasty and some even had mildew growing around the seems! If I would have paid full price I would have been seriously disapointed! Ive been gping here for years and I expect more out of this place than to have dirty water!

Great place ... Well worth the money...the only down side is the height requirements for the rides.... My five yr old would absolutely LOVE to ride EVERYTHING THERE and be perfectly fine...but they want allow it bc of his height ... Silly rule... I Wish they would let the parent judge if there own child was capable or not! Other than that it's great! Overpriced food just like any other fair or park! U can Pack a cooler though & leave it in car or at stand near gate!

We went for my son 4th birthday. The staff are rude. The police are not helpful at all. It started raining hard they close the rides down but would not give you any rain check. We spent 240 dollars on Tickets. I feel like someone should do something about this giving it was my son's 4th birthday. And we drove 2 hours to go there. The Hotdog's are not good at all and they are 5.00 just for one. Eat at the pizza place if you go.

Nice water park with lots of different attractions for all ages. The only thing they could work on is park cleanliness and some of the paths up to the slides were scalding on bare feet. Especially the plastic bridges.

A good time of year to go is August 2nd week.No lines for the rides and no crowd.
We took our own food.We were getting a soft serve ice cream. The girl was polite at the window taking the order and money.Standing to make the
cones was a guy behind her rubbing his head all over. She said ok I need a chocolate cone. The guy rubbing his head stuck his hand in the box to pull out a cone.I said wait! You just rubbed
your head all over and you are going to
touch the cones! I said where are your gloves. There happened to be a girl near him who rolled her eyes as she was giving him gloves.I said forget it.
I'lll just call the health department.
Upon leaving, we go to our locker where everyone is on top of each other. I opened my locker, just a reminder the spring door doesn't stay open on its own, and with a sling shot force the locker door slammed into my temple, cutting it and then bleeding, and injured my eye bone. I had to make an incident report..As I type this, my temple and eye bone are so sore to touch and I am bruised in all of that area like I have on purple eye shadow. The lockers are very dangerous...they are tiny doors stacked like 4 on top of each other and no elbow room to move.
The park needs renovating..The pool water filters arent working fully..
Hair, mucous, leaves and grass floating everywhere..All rides of the park had old chipped paint on the bottom and sides..sloppy patches of touch up.
This used to be a beautiful water park years ago.Since the 80's, this place has not had any over haul of new paint or anything.Patc hed cracks, peeled paint chips look terrible.
For all of the money coming in there,
the public deserves decency.
However, it was nice being cooled off
And not waiting in line.
KUDOS TO THE LIFEGUARDS! DID AN AMAZING JOB FOR 3 X THAT I SAW.

Took my 6 yr old and 2 yr old daughters there, and they really enjoyed it. The park is big, nice, clean, and well landscaped. There were a lot of things to do for the young ones; We spent 5 hours here, but didn't go to all of the attractions. We went on a Friday in July at Opening Time. [I could see it being too busy/too crazy if you were to go at a really busy time.]

Great place to take kids. Line waits were not too long and lines moved gradually. The food vendor we tried getting snacks from had terrible customer service but other than that it was a great family outing

I love the wave pool and great options for young swimmers. There is far too little security and a deplorable policy that they only page on the hour. We had a scary stalking experience the last visit and could not find help. Parents and families use extreme caution.

Fun water park! I highly recommend renting a cabana if you have a group of 6 or more. It s very nice to have a place to plant yourself for the day. The food was expensive and not any better than other park food. However, you do have the option to bring a cooler, check it in just outside the gate and eat in a picnic area. Bring your healthy lunch and snacks and save some money too.

This place was bigger than we thought! A lot of places to sit and park your towels. clothes, etc. The lines moved fairly quick, and we went on almost all of them. We loved absolutely everything with the exception of seriously overpriced food. But that's pretty much all theme parks. Next year- season passes!

The Dare Devil drop is awesome. The wave pool would be much better if the waves were far more rapid. Most of the other slides are what is expected. I will say the life guards that I observed were extremely disaplined and professional. Their Trainor's should be very proud of them.

I first went to Wet and Wild on July 20th. As soon...

I first went to Wet and Wild on July 20th. As soon as I got into the park a worker on stilts pointed out that my tye dye t-shirt was "tripping him out" very rude. A map is hard to find and not very clear after about 2 hours and only going on 2 slides the park announced that it was temporally closing. Since my party and I had driven 2 hours to come to wet and wild we decided to get our hand stamped just incase the park would re-open. It was already pouring at this point and the stamp simply washed off. After wating for about an hour and a half in the parking lot another woman who was leaving the park told us it was closing for the day. Angrily marching back we received our rain check and left. Today I went back and had an even more troublesome experience. First my $30 locker would not shut! All my priceless valuables were exposed to the hooligans spending their day at wet and wild. It took a worker about 10 minutes to get us another locker. The day was heding in a positive direction until about 2 o clock when we decided to get on the rapids slide. While waiting in line about 5 boys came off the slide at one time complaining that they had all gotten stuck together and no life guard came to help. When it was my turn to go on the slide I experienced what they were talking about. The young female life guard was sending us down back to back with no time in between. All 6 people in my party said their butts were dragging across the slide, they were getting stuck, there wasn't enough water, and felt like their feet were going to scraped off on the sides. When I got of the slide a paramedic was examining a boy who had fallen out of his tube on the ride because he had gotten stuck. For this ride I suggest the park add more water, get new tubes, and train their lifeguards. While walking away from this slide it wad announced over the intercom that the park would be closing! There was no plan at all and people were sent into a mad dash trying to get their things. There is not nearly enough room at the lockers for all the bafoons who were occupying it. As for the good things lifeguards are always watching, and actually seem to care. Overall if there is even a single cloud out expect this place to shut it's doors.

This has always been one of my favorite places but prices are way too high for what you get. For 2 people it's $10 to park, $80 to get in the door and $20 for a looker if you plan to change clothes. They have still have some of the old slides and some new ones that looked really cool. Problem there is the lines. I really wanted to try the Dragons den but after waiting in line for over half an hour and still having at least as much time left to wait I decided it was a waste of time. Did the wave pool, lazy river, rapids and a couple of others and they were great but just didn't seem worthy of how much we paid. I must add though this is a nice water park and the kid in me wants to give it 5 stars and maybe if you want to take the kids on a week day when they are not so busy I'm sure they'll love it. The prices is really the only thing holding it back. Oh and they need to get rid of the people running around taking pictures of you cause it's just annoying.
