Not terrible, but the pull-out couch was too short for a 6' 2" man, and the center atrium of the hotel got a little loud at times.

Quiet place to meet friends and catch up. Burger was delicious and the wait staff friendly.

We were gifted a room for the weekend here and had paid for it ourselves we would have been very unhappy. We were put in a corner adjoining room (I think the smallest room in the hotel) which was located right next to the stairs. The room was noisy basically from 7am to about 1130pm. You can here everything from the lobby in the room. There was mildew in the shower, a 1/2 inch gap under the door and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. After both of us showered, the room was hot and muggy. The facility does have free breakfast and a manager's reception which were both nice. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub. But we will not stay here again. It was supposed to be a quiet relaxing weekend, and it was not. It is hard to sleep with a lobby full of people eating breakfast when you can hear the plates clanking and kids chattering. Plus there was no info in the room. Every other hotel I have ever stayed at has a book of info about the hotel. The bed was the highlight of the stay. It was very comfortable.

This is a very nice luxury hotel. The suites are spacious and the staff are all very friendly and willing to help.

This was an ok stay. I like to stay at Embassy suites but this time it was loud and crowded.

Great rooms, good food for a 3 star hotel, terrible time keeping. Whatever time they "claim" to have on their schedule make sure you are there one hour before because it will be closed. Bar closes at 11, got there at 10 and no bartender to be found. Just an fyi

Unfortunately, this chain seems to have gone downhill. Hot tub was cloudy with drain covers broken. Breakfast was OK, but not great...and I believe my expectations are pretty modest.

Management is clearly saving money by not maintaining the facility. Except for the hot tub, nothing was bad, but it clearly isn't the same chain I stayed with 10 years ago.

I was surprised at the rate, and thought it was a great value. Now I see it is not a place I will return.

Worst embassy suite stay ever. Ordered the snack package for the room wasn t there. Complained to front desk and got excuses. Emailed GM and sales and received no response. Never once tried to make it right. Took this picture and told them they should consider taking it down.

Judy the front desk supervisor is extremely good and patient... worth my time saying hi everytime I get to see her in the evening, I feel I m home Thanks Judy! I also lost my lunch box which was worth good amount but I don t mind against the good hospitality that was shown by Judy thanks again!!

What a disappointment. Older hotel, was charged 7.00 for self parking, not even a parking deck, just straight up out front normal parking. And absolute scam by the owners. You can bet this lifetime diamond member will never stay there again.

The staff was always busy making sure that a clean and pleasant atmosphere was provided for their customers stay at the Embassy Suites in Overland Park, KS. The wait staff was great during the Happy Hour and breakfast buffet. The location is close to restaurants, bars and markets if you need something last minute. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kansas City for an event.

Check in receptionist, pool attendant, and bartender lady were very nice. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good but the elevators were a little annoying to use. There are two elevators but they need to not have them going the same direction especially on a busy soccer tournament weekend or when there's an event. It's a little hard to explain in writing. The location was great and had easy in and out access.

Had a great time with my kids swimming and relaxing in the pool

The staff was very accommodating & our room was clean. We enjoyed our visit. Looking forward to going back after the overhaul as it definitely has a tired look.

Hotel needs some updating & the pool is not the cleanest. Complimentary breakfast & happy hour are great. The fact that they charge for parking in a lot that is not secured or in any sort of structure is pretty lame.

Wish I could give a better rating, but I was very disappointed with my stay. The front desk staff was courteous and tried to help, but there was a Hotel Staff Only room adjacent to my room 422, and for most of the night, a continuous beeping coming from that room could be heard quite clearly in my room. I called the front desk three times. The final time, my call went unanswered. I did not rest well at all. This problem is the basis for my 3 rating. Otherwise, rating would have been higher.

Although the hotel seemed like not high end place when we arrived the rooms were clean and the amenities were good including the evening reception and breakfast with cook to order omelets. There are no waffles and the fruit selection was poor (cantelop and melon)

This was a very disappointing visit. We are HHonors members and mostly stay at Embassy Suites. We arrived following a pretty decent snowstorm that only dropped about two inches of snow.

There was a single bartender on a Friday night, which for the managers reception, meant you got one round of drinks in two hours. The snacks were ok, but the celery in the veggie tray was brown and rotten looking. We called room service, which never answered. We called the front desk to find out what was up with room service. They told us he'd call us right back. We're never got a call, not for room service and not to follow up with why we never got a call.

There were 4 of us in the room but Embassy regularly only stocks the room with three towels. We asked in our online reservation for extra towels. That didn't happen, so the 4th person who showered got to use a wet towel the first morning. As housekeeping was cleaning our room, I explained that we had 4 people and asked for extra towels. She cleaned, made the beds...and left three towels. So this morning, the last person got to use a wet towel, again.

All around, the service from the staff we interacted with was extremely lacking. Not at all what we expected from this brand. There is a Hampton Inn nearby. We'll stay there next time.

Hotels seems a little dated. Breakfast and happy hour were great, as usual. Parking is $7 but enforcement / charging is inconsistent. Premium floor is the 5th floor at this hotel.

As a Hilton Diamond member it was great. I enjoyed getting to my room and having drinks and snacks waiting for me. After traveling that is a nice little relaxing treat.

I really don't like hotels where the rooms surround an open lobby. It can get loud especially when there is free alcohol. The bed was quite uncomfortable and I didn't get a good night's rest during my 4 night stay.

Decent place for a business trip. Clean and employees are friendly. Room was spacious and relaxing.

This hotel was ok. I thought it was dirty and old. It could really use an overhaul. However the people were really nice and accommodating.

SO NOT IMPRESSED!!! The place wants to squeeze every penny they can from you. $7 fee to park in your suburban parking lot with plenty of free parking lots around you? $11 wifi? I am glad these were all provided for free because of your horrible customer service. Free upgrade to the "premium" floor to make up for your screw up? Ok, but would you make sure your "engineer" is on hand to fix the broken chain in the toilet so we dont have to manually raise the plug in the tank everytime we need to flush??! For how much you charge for everything, you would think that would be possible....but thanks for the 2 free bottles of water!

Like other embassy suites. Nice breakfast nice atrium. Shower pressure horrible. Air-conditioner made rattling noise all night. Good customer service

OMG I did not know they had a happy hour and I loved it. I sat with my friends had drinks enjoyed each other's company and don't forget they have snacks to. You have plenty of drinks and go upstairs and go to bed.

The elevator was so much fun to ride in and the rooms were amazing! Best room design I've seen in a hotel room! Defenately recommend!!!

I usually stay at embassy suites through out the us. This is one of the worse experiences. A charge for self parking without regard to status. Prepared food at breakfast was cold with broken pieces of bacon. Plastic silverware, no wall street journal. Definitely below normal Hilton standards.

Great hotel. Some rooms could stand a thorough cleaning but it's our go to hotel when traveling through KC

Excellent staff. Clean rooms. A few drunk couples got into screaming dispute while we were there and staff immediately removed them from main area.

It's a nice place,usually quiet but currently undergoing a renovation.it will be beautiful when completed.

The lounge and the lounge staff are amazing! Robin and Ryan really made me feel welcome.

This hotel is awful! Definitely not what you would expect from Embassy Suites. They have no information books in the room. The person at the desk did not give me any information about breakfast times, pool times, nothing! It didn't feel very clean and it was very run down! And the pool didn't open until 9 am and we had to leave before we could get a swim in. My kids were very disappointed. Overall, very disappointing stay and we will not be back.

Person checking in my husband a bit rude, or maybe just stressed, but definitely not the politeness we are used to here. They did well with the hot buffet following the guidelines: facemasks, distancing and individually wrapped items. Reception at checkout very polite.

There's construction going on, but that didn't seem to affect our stay. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Our sIeep was great! The food was very tasty! We'll stay here again.

On site customer service is outstanding from front desk to food service. Gym/pool leaves much to be desired although hotel is currently being upgraded. Room was sizable yet dated decor.

The rooms here are cleaned phenomenally, and I never have a problem here. The staff are all very polite and friendly, always welcoming and caring. They never hesitate to help us and I love and appreciate it, especially us, having a larger amount of people then usual.

Friendly and easy to get to, nice reception time, This weeks visit room had no desk very small heating unit so loud had to shut off to sleep.

The room was very nice. The walls were a little thin and you could hear the kids next door running around, but they became quiet early enough. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities included are worth the stay.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel and the room were very clean. I was impressed with how the hotel was able to still serve breakfast and cocktail hour safely. My only complaint is about the elevators. No one followed the elevator rules. I ended up taking the stairs to avoid the crowds trying to ride the elevator.

This is an older Embassy Suites that needs an upgrade. The people are very friendly but the rooms are outdated. Also their food is limited for those of us who do not eat pork. There are no turkey products for breakfast and although we informed them upon arrival that we do not eat pork they did not attempt to accommodate us. They also aren't very informative as to things to do in the area. There's so much nearby that they should really let people know.

Well it all starts with their front Desk Staff. Delores, Elizabeth, Tasha, and Atlas are awesome. They are quick to get answers for you and their Professionalism behind the Desk is immaculate. The Bar Staff of Amber, Meredith, and Colin were outstanding people to talk to while eating and visiting with other guests at the Hotel. The Atrium Grill Staff and Chef's were awesome as well as Summer on the cleaning staff...

Terrible! Had a loud party next door that went on until 430 in the morning. Drinking games screaming yelling. Sounded like they were wrestling. Called front desk gave them my room number the issue. She put me on hold I hung up. She didnt even try to call us back. It's not our issue they prefer to sell to underage high schoolers or maybe college partyers. So sad they cater to losers who tear up rooms. We won t be back and I know alot of people who stay here. I will be talking with my company on Tuesday about finding a new hotel for business trips. Would not recommend to anyone. The amount of money is enormous they will lose from on business alone.

No major issues, and Elizabeth at the front desk tonight was a shining example of the type of team members Hilton should have in their hotels. Professional, kind, and very attentive.

The presidential suite is amazing. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast is better than many restaraunts.

This place is even more tired and worn out. There is a charge for the dark parking lot. As you can see I have been to a lot of Embassy Suites, this one probably one of the worst Embassy Suites in the country. I won't be back.
This was my review last year...
I have stayed at this Embassy several times. Always a good omelet chef. Clean and comfortable, just getting a little tired. Could use a renovation to match most of the other Embassy's around the country.

Speedy front desk, gets you checked in a flash! Complimentary water bottles at this particular location was appreciated! Gave about 12 tickets for the evening reception "Happy Hour" which gets you free Domestic and wells at the bar downstairs which is fantastic and bring everyone down to have drinks and mingle. The room was clean as expected, every room has a living room and bedroom which is nice privacy if you are staying with kids. Morning breakfast buffet and omlet bar is fantastic! Check this place out whether on business or vacation.

Terrible Experience at this hotel.
Our room wasn't clean. I found skittles from the previous guests all over the floor in the bedroom. There were black marks on the wall and behind the door in the bathroom. There was a vent located directly next to the shower head (which was circa 1985, I'm sure) and it had dust bunnies on it so large that they were falling into the bathtub. The shower head barely let water come out - it took me 20 minutes just to attempt to wash the shampoo out of my hair.
We stayed on the "premium floor" so we had access to free snacks and soda from small vending machines. Except that by the time we got back to the hotel after 11pm, the vending machines were empty and no one had bothered to refill them. The only person on staff that seemed to be in a hurry to do anything for anyone was the maintenance person, who apparently doubles as the shuttle driver. Please make sure that if you take the shuttle anywhere, you understand that they stop offering shuttle rides at 11pm. No one told us that, so after texting the hotel for a ride and not hearing anything back after 10 minutes, I called the front desk of the hotel to ask for the shuttle to pick us up and take us back to the hotel. The woman who answered, told me the shuttle stops at 11. I replied that no one had told me that. She then said "well you'll need to call Uber or a cab or something." WHAT?!?! So that's what we did. We had to call an Uber for a ride back to the hotel.
I'm mostly disappointed that I've had such a wonderful experience staying at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln, NE (as well as other locations) and so I expected the same amazing hotel experience from the Embassy Suites in Overland Park - I was mistaken. I would NEVER stay at that location again. They should be ashamed of themselves and the way they "manage" that hotel. Why in the world would I again pay $200 to stay in a hotel that was, frankly, dirtier and more poorly managed than some hotels I've stayed in that were less than half the price?!? There are plenty of other hotels near that area - I highly suggest staying at one of those instead and save yourself the bad experience.

Hotel is okay but the kitchen staff are horrible and need to be replaced will not stay here again ever

I checked in online to choose my own room on the first floor. Problem is they gave my room away. Then I made it up the elevator to my new room and the key didnt work. I went back down to the counter and they reprogrammed the card, I went back up and still didn't work. I had to go down again for another reprogram and the employee could not have cared less. I went to the bar and the roof was leaking directly onto the barstools and splashing everywhere. This was not a good experience and doubt I will be back.
