This is my third stay here this year. The hotel has been advertising that it will be renovated this summer. A major renovation is needed. The facilities team seem to just fix an item to the best of their abilities.

The employees are very nice, but when making requests, like there were no towels in the pool area, it took approximately 1 hour for someone to replenish them. The room was clean and nice. Lots of noise from surrounding rooms.

I want to give a shout out to Melody (from the bar). She went over and above. My daughter (has a disability), was in the bar area with her boyfriend. They ordered in steak. Melody gladly cut up her steak and made sure they were good to go. She was also very friendly to me as well.

The room I rented didn't have working air conditioning, but once notified, a serviceman was in within five minutes and had it working again within ten to fifteen. The amenities were amazing, and our requests were fulfilled immediately and perfectly. All employees were helpful and knowledgeable.

The happy hour and breakfast are great! The bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the thermostat. Our room was either really warm or really cold. There was no in between. O I otherwise enjoyed my two night stay.

It was a lovely stay. The resin why I did not give 5 stars was due to the staff. My family and I payed for the snack tray and premium Wi-Fi. We had to ask for the password after none was given. Then the staff was needed to be reminded constantly for the snack try to be refilled.

Nice hotel but a little dirty, carpet has stains, pool dirty, and jacuzzi not working, it had yellow water with a lot of bugs, and even though you're staying in the hotel they have a parking fee of $7 dollars a day

Rooms are on the smaller side for suites (bed room is small... not much room on nightstands etc) but it is very functional and comfortable none the less. Breakfast is delicious and wifi is reliable.

Excellent location in Overland park. The rooms are pretty standard fare but the staff is great, super accommodating and always smiling, noatter the request. Breakfast included a fairly popular omelette bar in addition to the standard sausage, bacon or cereal. A hotel bar and restaurant are available on site as well. This location is quite busy so parking may take a few minutes despite the massive lot.

By far, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Large two room suites include a living room with couch and desk in addition to the bedroom. Very nice fitness room, but pool area seemed poorly maintained. Complimentary breakfast and cocktail hours, with shuttle service to any restaurant within 5 miles. Great area with tons of restaurants and stores nearby. A very nice stay; wish I'd needed to be there longer than one night.

I was visiting someone at the hotel last night. I thought the hotel looked very nice with the atrium look and glass elevator. I noticed posters saying get ready for a remodel. The hotel has free Wi-Fi for guests and when I spoke to the front desk was kind enough to input the courtesy password so I could get Internet access as well I will be sure to visit again in a few months to see how they remodeled.

I don't normally do reviews but today I have to. I am a business traveler and I have stayed at this property in the past however this stay has been horrible. I was booked into a tiny room without a desk to work on. I went back down and asked for a different room (not everyone that travels needs or wants a desk to work from). I was told that was not an option....they were totally booked. Oddly as I write this I can book a 2 room suite at this hotel. Since I have been in my room my cable has not worked for more than 10 minutes without interruption. When I 1st reported it I told that I was the only one....but after 3 TVs I was told that everyone was having issues. Oddly when I went downstairs to order food the 3 TVs in the bar had no issues.....guess it must be everyone else. When I called downstairs to let them know that I would check out in the morning to go to another property I was again told that they were sold out...oh wait a different room just opened for tomorrow....too late. Customer service is important to me.....I will not be returning to this property again.

Undergoing renovation, but usual Embassy Suites suite rooms, early evening reception and omelets to order breakfast, but why charge extra for open guest parking when other hotels in the area don't?

Our room has: ripped curtains, cracked/torn chair covers, a door off the hinges, and food on the floors in dining room well after breakfast. The Premium floor perks machine was empty. There is a large group of middle school soccer players screaming and playing tag in all 7 levels of rooms. Management and staff did nothing to stop them. This is our 3rd stay at this Embassy. The quality WAS exemplary before. This is our last stay at this hotel as it has gone down hill terribly. Definitely not on meeting the high Embassy standard we've come to trust.

Amazing breakfast options with made-to-order omelettes. My family used to do a yearly vacation here and enjoyed the experience every time. Occasionally hosts large youth sports groups that can be extremely loud, but otherwise a great place to stay.

Had a great experience while staying here. It is centrally located your shops and restaurants in very easy to get in and out of. The room was clean and I did not have any issues while I was here. Loved the fitness center and I did not eat at the restaurant. The only thing I would change is the shower. It is very narrow and hard to maneuver in. I work out on a regular basis and when standing in the shower my shoulders touched the wall and the glass at the same time. Also the water pressure is very weak in the hotel.

Overall very disappointed for the price. My room was a large 2 room king. Rooms are aged and in poor condition. No channel list anywhere in the room. They charge $7.00 per night for self parking in an open parking lot that has signs "park at your own risk, management not responsible for damage." I checked in at 6:00pm. The front counter failed to inform me that the blue tickets were for free drinks during happy hour from 5-7. So when I attempted to use them after I got back from dinner I was denied. If you are going to give free drink tickets you should inform people of them instead of failing to mention them at all! I have stayed in multiple places nearby for less and gotten more.

The a.c. did not work, had it on 60 all night and was sweating. $7.00 to park, but made up for that in the evening. Front staff at check in was rather rude, I very much doubt I would go back.

Very friendly staff made our stay one of the best ever. Between the happy hour reception and the amazing free breakfast I cannot wait to come here again. Yes it is old and yes it needs updating, but they are aware of this and are in the process of updating the hotel. Recommended.

It's a beautiful hotel and I love the cooked to order breakfast and little things like digital key entry. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating, too. I didn't like how noisy the hotel was. The open atrium style is cool until you realize how much sounds carries through the building. I could hear people down at the bar until late at night and as it got closer to the weekend and the hotel filled up with families with kids, it got so insanely noisy with kids literally running around everywhere that I actually left the hotel for some peace.

It was clean. The buffet breakfast and the manager's reception in the evening wear nice perks. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only thing that I could think would be a drawback for some people, even though it's very well kept, the furniture is a little dated. Other than that a really good experience.

Improved from years ago (my previous visit) like the whole hotel has been scoured and made new. The rooms were great and we'll appointed. The open center to the hotel was filled with hanging green plants. Good breakfast as well. And the bed was great!
