A little disappointed. The air didn't work so we had to change rooms. There was a lot of noise because of work being done on the building. Will try again on next trip. Love the happy hour and breakfast...best in the industry.

I hadn't stayed at the embassy in a long time and it was very nice. I love the room set up with a true suite. The staff was terrific and so pleasant. The one complaint I have is the amount of traffic noise. May room was on the sixth floor but could hear cars and trucks on Metcalf and on I-435. It wasn't just the occasional, it was constant. I loved the ES but based on the noise alone, I would probably choose to stay somewhere else.

Awful. Dirty. Pool was closed. Breakfast took forever. When checking out, the front desk person was arguing with me saying that I owed more money. Will never stay here again. We love the Lincoln, NE Location. This is nothing in comparison. Very disappointed.

Do not stay at this hotel in the Kansas City Summer heat! The AC doesn t cool this building! The open areas (atrium Bar, restaurant, and hall ways) are HOT! I had room 526 and on the 1st night my AC broke down and I couldn t be moved until the next day. I m guessing it was about 80 in my room. I then moved to 519 and it was marginally better. The AC s in the rooms are old and in extreme heat will not cool the rooms to what you d expect.

This hotel is in bad need of an update. It s literally the oldest Embassy in the world and it looks it. When I was checking in at 5PM there was 1 front desk person and a line to the door. He then stopped to take a call (RUDE). Is there no one else to get the phone since you have actual guests in your face? Come on front desk supervisor Brandon!

The cold water in the sink in my bathroom didn't turn on, and I reported it 4-5 times to the front desk. At the end of my 4 night stay, it still wasn't repaired.

The cleaning crew forgot to clean my room one day. They provided fresh towels, but left the bed unmade and didn't empty the trash.

For some reason, they promote themselves as one of the oldest hotels in the United States - which seems like a weird thing to hang your hat on because it looks every bit as ancient as it's age suggests.

The staff was extremely friendly and the location is great - but the overall experience was really poor.

This was our second attempt at staying at this hotel. We were previously compensated for a free room due to a very unpleasant first visit. The pool was so overcrowded we could not use it. There was a soccer convention staying at the hotel and kids were running around everywhere unsupervised. It was complete chaos! I made several complaints to management that evening. We had to use the stairs to get to our room, which wouldn't have been bad if my daughter didn't have an injured knee. The elevators were really slow and had only one working. Kids were playing on the elevators hitting every floor button. We will not be going back.

This place was really convenient and easy to access. It is along a walking path. I walked 45 minutes each direction and didn't get to the end. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options, even for me being allergic to gluten. There was plenty of parking. My only issue was that there was only one restroom on the first floor and some guy was in it taking a dump in it. The place is too big to only have one restroom for guests on the first floor.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for one night to host a slumber party. We stayed in a suite and the rooms were very spacious, clean, and well-kept. We enjoyed the variety of foods available during breakfast and everything was fresh. We especially enjoyed the ability to watch the chef cook everyone s omelette.

We were in town for the Komen Race for the Cure and unfortunately due to weather conditions it was cancelled around 9 on Sat. Morning. We decided to return home rather than stay.
As usual our stay at another Embassy was great. However I was disappointed that we were not able to cancel and receive our money back for our two rooms on the Saturday night stay.
We understand the need for a policy but it was the only blemish on this stay. We will continue to stay at Hilton properties and Embassy Suites whenever possible.

Everything I expect in an Embassy Suites. I have always loved the open feeling of the massive atrium and being able to see my colleagues on the ground floor. No complaints on the room or service. Would have liked a broader selection of food in the gift shop, and also the decor is a little dated.

Went for the AP converter class lecture and was impressed at how clean everything is. From the front desk to the bar and waterfall everything sparkled. Staff was attentive and the buffet was very nice. Definitely use this place for a quiet stay as well as conferences

Pros: The rooms are nice; large and in good condition. The stay includes a nightly reception with drinks and a nice breakfast.
Cons: Noisy as all get out; yammering and running in the halls from 6a to 11p, walls are thin (our joy was a baby crying next door all night), they start closing the breakfast up earlier than posted, and WiFi is not included in standard package.
Addn'l Con: When we noted our concerns with our stay, management informed us that it sucks to be us (not those words, but close)

Where do I start? First of all, I hate the way they have remodeled this particular Embassy Suites. I don't know if they are all like this, but it has a very cold corporate look now. The last time I stayed at an Embassy Suites years ago, the decor reflected that of an actual Embassy, or royalty. Those beautiful warm Golds and reds have been replaced by greys and dark blacks and Blues. Besides that, we return to our room after eating dinner that night and found crumpled up blankets, sheets, and pillows on the living room couch. We had asked for fresh linens but expected to see them either on the bed or neatly folded and placed somewhere. Not simply balled up and thrown in the room as if someone had actually been sleeping on the couch while we were gone. We tried to call the manager on duty at least six times, and she never answered. Yet, we saw her wandering around and mingling with the guests when we walked in mere minutes earlier. Those same guests, by the way, we're allowed to loiter in the lobby clearly intoxicated. Teenage girls we're walking through the lobby half naked while a grown man ogled them from afar nearly following them and my wife for that matter. I had to stare him down and rushed my wife on to an elevator to keep him from seemingly following us up into our room. Not to mention the folks who were lingering outside drinking and smoking. Again, the manager on duty allowed all this and she was right in the midst of it. We waited till the next day and complained and we're comped that night and the movie we ordered the previous night. Nonetheless I will not be back to Embassy Suites anytime soon.

A decent hotel, but in need of an update. The room was acceptable, the staff was friendly and helpful, but the accommodations are dated looking. For the money, there are other more modernized options. Also, noticed the fitness center could be kept a bit more tidy.

Receptionist services worker were friendly which was a plus. Had issue getting into the pool had to go to front desk to get it activated. Size of pool was small.

Checked out fitness room also wasn't able to get in. Had to go up to front desk twice. Equipments were out dated, control button wasn't working. Had to press really hard to get treadmill to stop. When trying to get out the sensor wasn't working causing the door not to open. Had to call reception to get out. Then figured out it was the sensor that was causing not tripping to open the door.

Morning breakfast was good
Happy hour was ok.

The room was kind of small. We were not able to close the bedroom door.

I don't get about the parking cost? Why is there a cost for that? Might as well add it to the price of the room.

We are here for a soccer tournament and we here about twice a year. Compare to other hilton this is the worse of all.

Very horrible experience. Their hot tub was out of order, which they didn t mention when we called to book the room nor did they mention it when we checked in. Their breakfast server had a very disgusting attitude. The lobby, elevator, bar and restaurant area was very hot and humid. Also, their elevator certification had been experienced for over a month.

We checked in at 12:05 on 2/1/2020. We were given a room and went up however, the heater was blowing cold air not hot. We turned up the thermostat before crawling into bed hoping it helped. An hour later still freezing calling the front desk. They offered to move us (mind u we were unpacked and in bed) because no one was there to fix the heat at that hour. We ended up turning off the thermostat so that it was at least not blowing cold air. At about 8 am we kept hearing pounding over and over, turns out they were remodeling several rooms near our room. I called to speak to someone about this today 2/3/2020 and they said "they were sorry." No compensation no reduced rate etc. Wont stay here again in the future.

All of the staff was very friendly. They have free happy hour drinks and free make your own omlettes at breakfast. However you have to pay $7.00 per day for parking which is kind of dumb. Overall I had a very positive experience.

The room still had garbage in the trash cans and urine in the toilets when we arrived. The bathrooms had a few lights that were out, which made it hard to shave or use the bathroom at night.
The breakfast was not a standard Embassy Suites breakfast. The fruit looked like it came from a can and dumped in a bowl. No variety in the pancakes that could be made, just plain. There was no flavor to them. The omelettes were not bad, but seemed rushed when they were made. I found part of a plastic fork in my food. The sausage was overcooked and very hard. Seemed like breakfast was a second thought.
The hotel as a whole wasn't impressive or up to a standard that Embassy suites holds its self to. not a lot of greenery or much of an atrium to wind down and sit in.

However, the management was very helpful and understanding when I discussed my concerns with them. Their service was very good and one of the best that I have encountered at Embassy Suites. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites in the United States, and this management was second to none. I would recommend staying here due to the management.

This hotel is grossly outdated! The carpet needs repair, contrary to what the listing states, parking is NOT free ($7.00 per night), the eggs on the breakfast buffet were cold, the pool was "closed for maintenance", and the steam iron in our room was broken and spilled water all over a shirt I was ironing.

With this, and other experiences I've had at other Hilton partner properties, I'm seriously considering investigating other hotel rewards programs. Suffice it to say, I won't be staying here ever again.
